The Snowball Express is a event put on by The Gary Sinise Foundation to fly thousands of children who lost a parent in combat (Gold Star children) to Disney World for the Holidays.

Hundreds of Gold Star families sent to Disney World by Gary Sinise Foundation
More than 650 families are being sent to Disney World this year as part of Snowball Express, a program aimed at helping Gold Star families enjoy the holiday season.
The program, which started in 2006 but was launched just last year as part of the Gary Sinise Foundation, has 1,722 participants this year, according to an Instagram post.
“The holidays can be especially challenging for grieving families. Each December, we host a five-day experience for 1,750+ children of the fallen and their surviving parent or guardian,” the Gary Sinise Foundation said on its website. “As a therapeutic retreat with a blend of fun and inspiring programs, these families can lean on their peers for support.”

This led to a moment of beauty at the Nashville Airport a few days ago.

Gary Sinise has been an incredible supporter of our troops for years, inspired by research he did preparing for his role as Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump. One of his projects it to help build handicap accessible smart homes for disabled veterans.
If you haven’t heard anything about any of this from your typical Hollywood mouthpieces, it is because they are too busy settling sexual harassment claims, applauding rapists and child molesters, campaigning to take your gun rights away, and engaging in awful anti-Trump exhibitions.

So, if The Big One hit Hollywood and swallowed it down into the earth or a tsunami washed it out to sea and drowned it in the Pacific, I really think I’d be fine with it.
Chances are Gary Sinise would survive because he’d be out helping our troops at the time.
I live in Nashville and that event has not been covered at all by any local news media

Emailed several TV stations as well as newspapers, telling them they should be ashamed for ignoring this.
My bro works in security at the mouse-house. I told him to keep an eye out for these families and help anyway he can.
I think Sinise operates primarily out of NYC so it shouldn’t be a problem.
