California would be the first state to cover immigrants without legal status who are younger than 26 through Medi-Cal, the state’s health program for people with low incomes. California already covers undocumented children until they turn 19, with Newsom’s plan increasing the age cut-off to mirror that of the Affordable Care Act, which allows young adults to stay on a parent’s health insurance plan until turning 26.
And how exactly would California identify illegals as being under 26 if they are undocumented?
Why do I suspect that California is going to start seeing a lot of gray haired 25 year old illegals with early onset geriatric problems?

How is this different than the mandate for treating anyone who comes into an ER regardless of their ability to pay?
The bill, eventually, winds up coming back to the public at large either way.
We already have a similar problem here. Lots of “underage immigrants” without papers here. Half of them claim to be born on january the first and sport a full beard.
But no we can test them for their age because that would be raaaaacist!
Didn’t California pass universal health care for all of it’s “citizens” not too long ago? And it was only after it passed that the horrible financial reality set in, and even the liberal nutjobs destroying the state had to abandon the idea because it couldn’t be afforded? So now Newsom wants to extend it to illegal aliens as well?
This guy is so radically left and unhinged, I can almost guarantee he becomes President in 2024.
