COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — Uk Thang, 29, was identified as the gunman at the Collierville Kroger shooting. Police say he took his life as police closed in a few minutes after the shooting began.
Police confirmed his identify Friday without saying his name, instead holding up the written words on a legal pad to avoid giving him any notoriety.
He was a third party vendor for Kroger, said Collierville Police Chief Dale Lane.
Witnesses say Thang worked in the sushi department.

Oklahoma City dad ‘brutally beats’ pastor, 33, after staking out school bus stop and recording him ‘inappropriately touching’ his 9-year-old son

An Oklahoma father beat a pastor after he caught him inappropriately touching his nine-year-old son while the dad staked out school bus stop and recorded the incident, police say.

By the time Oklahoma City Police arrived to the scene, Michael Coghill, 33, had been left with a fractured skull and a black eye.

Coghill has been charged with indecent act to a child and is detained at Oklahoma City Detention Center after the father showed the recording to police.

On Wednesday, the boy’s father decided to take matters into his own hands and headed to the bus stop with his son. He parked the car where the child was visible, waited for Coghill to show up and recorded the alleged incident.

‘While he was watching the school bus stop, our suspect ran by him, ran past the bus stop where the children were waiting. Turned around, came back and stopped where he touched the child,’ Sgt. Dillon Quirk said.

After recording the incident, the enraged dad confronted Coghill before pummeling him and leaving the cleric with a fracturing skull and cracked left orbital socket, cops said.

Head of Army public affairs suspended following damning office climate survey

The U.S. Army’s top spokeswoman has been suspended from her position pending an investigation.

Brig. Gen. Amy E. Johnston, who assumed the duties of chief of public affairs in April 2019, was “suspended and placed on special duty pending the outcome of an Army investigation,” Army spokeswoman Cynthia Smith said in a statement to the Washington Examiner on Thursday.

Ninety-seven percent of the survey respondents reported “workplace hostility,” while only 8% of the soldier and civilian employees said they experience “high” levels of morale, while just over a quarter, 26%, said they experience moderate morale. The survey, parts of which were obtained by the Military Times, also noted that factors such as being overworked, having an imbalanced work-home dynamic, and ambiguous product expectations, all contributed to those sentiments.

Additionally, 21% of respondents said sexual harassment was present in the office, while 26% said the same about racial harassment.

More than one fifth experienced sexual harassment, one quarter experienced racial harassment, and nearly everyone experienced some sort of toxic work place harassment.

‘Those people will pay’ – Biden vows action for border patrol agents’ treatment of Haitian migrants

President Joe Biden on Friday vowed to take action against border patrol agents on horseback whose actions in Del Rio, Texas drew widespread outrage.

“It’s outrageous. I promise you those people will pay. They will be investigated. There will be consequences,” Biden said in response to a reporter’s question at the White House.

There were no whips.  Haitians were not beaten or run down with horses.

Border Patrol was trying to detain people who were actively breaking the law by crossing the border.

Biden says there will be an investigation and consequences.

No investigation and consequences for the people who bumblefucked Afghanistan, or wiped out a family with seven kids with a drone strike based on Taliban provided intel, or caused there to be 15,000 illegal immigrants living under a bridge on Texas, or any of the other clusterfucks we’ve seen.

Nope, no accountability for them but law enforcement officers on the ground are going to get their assholes reamed by the DOJ for enforcing the law.
