Pornhub purges millions of unverified videos amid allegation of hosting child pornography

Pornhub is purging all unverified videos from its platform — the latest move in an ongoing response to accusations that the popular pornography website hosts child pornography.

“As part of our policy to ban unverified uploaders, we have now also suspended all previously uploaded content that was not created by content partners or members of the Model Program,” the company said in a blog post on Monday morning. “This means every piece of Pornhub content is from verified uploaders, a requirement that platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and Twitter have yet to institute.”

Among the problems with self uploaded and monetized pornograhy is that it encourages people to upload videos of rape, child pornography, and other material produced through violence and coercion.

Women sue Pornhub’s parent company for hosting GirlsDoPorn.com videos

A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of 40 women against Pornhub’s parent company for hosting videos produced by former San Diego-based website GirlsDoPorn.com, the owners and operators of which are facing federal sex trafficking charges.

The plaintiffs, identified as Jane Does 1 through 40 in the lawsuit filed Tuesday in San Diego federal court, allege Montreal-based MindGeek owns and operates a multitude of pornographic sites that have hosted videos featuring the women, and maintained its business relationship with GirlsDoPorn even as the site came under scrutiny for allegations of videos made through coercion and fraud.

“MindGeek knew it was partnering with and profiting from a sex trafficking venture for years,” the latest suit alleges. “MindGeek also knew of the significant harassment and trauma GirlsDoPorn’s victims were enduring by its continued publication of the victims’ videos. MindGeek simply did not care and continued to partner with GirlsDoPorn until it was no longer profitable because of the indictments and arrests.”

In the Superior Court case originally filed in 2016, GirlsDoPorn’s owners were sued by 22 women who alleged they were coerced to film pornographic videos or led to believe their videos would only be distributed to private owners, rather than proliferated online on GirlsDoPorn’s subscription website, as well as numerous free sites, many of which are owned by MindGeek.

I’ll say one thing for the professional porn industry, it’s regulated.

This democratized YouTube-esq porn is a free-for-all of abuse and coercion.

AOC’s take on “sex work is work” is as shallow and ideologically blind as her love of socialism despite the real time failure of Venezuela right before our eyes (not to mention every other socialist nation, but I assume she never cracked a history book).

For those who missed the sarcasm of my last post, someone should ask her if she’ll create an OnlyFans account.  When she says no, they should ask her why.  When she gives the reasons it isn’t worth the money, she should be asked why then is she encouraging other young women to do something she’s unwilling to do for money.  You know they won’t encourage their own daughters to do this.  The daughters of the proles can debase themselves online for money.

Remember what “the My Pillow guy” did.

He had 75% of his workforce stop making a profitable product in the United States with America employees to make masks for first responders, while still paying his employees put of his own pocket.

For that magnanimous act, the President praised him on national TV and he praised the President back.

Because the only acceptable public response to Trump is completely, howling rage and hatred, the My Pillow guy is now an untermensch.

Let’s go to the numbers: the total of firearms’ homicides for 2019 is 5, 214. The number of homicides committed with ANY kind of rifle? 216.

The number of homicides committed with knives? 689.  Vehicular Homicide? 411. Unknown non-firearm weapons? 428

So basically you can address a Gun Prohibitionist and tell them that his paring knife or box cutter is 3 times more dangerous than your AR 15 and demand that they remove all sharps from their home before you allow you children to play with theirs.

For four years after Trump won,, the Democrats screamed #Resistance.

Members of congress said Trump staff and Republicanpoliticians should be accosted when out in public.  They were kicked out of restaurants and shouted at in the streets.

The left said “not my president” and decried Trump was illegitimate because of Russian collusion.

But now that Biden is President Elect, Democrats  are saying Republicans who supported Trump must be punished and brought to heel and everyone must accept the outcome of the election, no matter how statistically unbelievable the results were.

The FBI lied about the Steel Dossier to investigate Trump and make him look like a traitor.  Now we know the FBI quietly tipped off a sitting Congressman that was caught in a Chinese honeypot, and the same speaker who lead the impeachment of Trump over false Russian collusion evidence put that same Congressman on the intelligence committee.

The Left screamed “emoluments” about Trump but called the Hunter Biden story Russian disinformation and killed it like it was Jeffrey Epstein about to cut a deal.

We that 60% of small businesses shut down by government order are closed permanently and when billionaires who have made money off the lockdowns and teleworking say we need to stay locked down until 2022, the Democrats say anyone who disagrees is “selfish” and “killing grandma.”

Prosecutors are letting rapists and murderers out of jail because of COVID and throwing gym and bar owners in jail because of COVID.

We were told “15 days to slow the spread.” That became “lockdown until a vaccine is available.” The latest news is “just because you have the vaccine doesn’t mean you can return to normal.”

This is the stuff dystopia novels are made of.

And we’re just supposed to accept this?

NYC’s mass COVID-19 exodus cost $34B in lost income, study says

The mass exodus from New York City amid the COVID-19 crisis has cost $34 billion in lost income, according to a new study released Tuesday.

About 3.57 million people fled New York City between Jan. 1 and Dec. 7 this year — and they were replaced by some 3.5 million people earning lower average incomes, the findings from Unacast said.

Tribeca, population 20,000, took the biggest hit out of the three — with a net loss of 3,500 residents — equaling a net income loss of $1 billion.

The more than 8,000 residents who bolted from the well-heeled ‘hood in downtown Manhattan earned an average income of about $140,000, Walle said. The typical person moving into the area earned an average of $82,000.

New Yorkers with means are leaving and fewer people with less money are moving in.  Consequently, businesses are feeling the hit from fewer people with less disposable income.

Retail and restaurants have also taken a considerable hit under COVID-19 safety restrictions this year, the company said.

There was 33 percent less retail foot traffic compared to last year and 34 percent fewer people in restaurants.

Unacast blamed those numbers on new residents earning less.

New York City is dying.  COVID lockdowns, bad governance, crime, all have the people who pay the taxes and invest in the city leaving and taking their money with them.

What is Governor Cuomo doing about this?

Cuomo signs bill banning sale of Confederate flags

Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law aimed at banning the sale of “hate symbols” such as the Confederate Flag or the Swastika on state property — even while admitting the new edict might clash with the First Amendment and be struck down as unconstitutional.

The new law — effective immediately — prohibits the sale of hate symbols on public grounds including state and local fairs, and also severely limits their display unless deemed relevant to serving an educational or historical purpose.

But Cuomo said the rule likely needs “certain technical changes” so the Empire State doesn’t get caught treading upon free speech protections codified in the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment.

“This country faces a pervasive, growing attitude of intolerance and hate — what I have referred to in the body politic as an American cancer,” Cuomo wrote in his approval message.

“By limiting the display and sale of the confederate flag, Nazi swastika and other symbols of hatred from being displayed or sold on state property, including the state fairgrounds, this will help safeguard New Yorkers from the fear-installing effects of these abhorrent symbols.”

He passes an admittedly unconstitutional bill which is an almost entirely symbolic gesture that will do functionally nothing to help the state.

How will this help them with the real fear that they will be pushed in front of a subway since the number of subway shovings has doubled since last year.

How does this help with the fact that in New York, anti-Semitic hate crimes have reached a 40 year high, considering that most of the people attacking the Jews in New York are black or Muslim immigrants?

New York is falling apart.  Crime is at record highs and the people who fund the city are pulling chocks and getting out and all the LuvGuv can do is useless bullshit.
