Sorry for the little posting.

After the recent medical scare, I have been given a new regiment of medications for one long-time ailment and I am getting used to it. Let’s say my brain is duller than customary and I need to get used to the new dosage.

All my other usual medical markers indicate I am doing pretty good although I have to schedule a visit to the cardiologist for a stress test to put the final kibosh on any cardiac issue.

Anyway, I am feeling good, specially after my doctor said I “have the cholesterol levels of a 14 year old.”

Bring be some BBQ stat!!!

It is that time of the year.

It is that time of the year when Libertarians will smugly “explain’ to you why they are superior because they will vote for the Libertarian candidate rather than yours.  They do this partially because they believe it will keep them above the incoming mayhem and some may secretly think after all is done and burnt, they will finally have a chance at governing.

I can’t help but think they believe in Manson’s Helter Skelter principle.

New York’s Yellow Star

A small follow up to J. Kb’s post.

Orthodox Jew failing to carry the government-mandated piece of clothing ,gets yelled at.

Because it is well known since Nazi Germany that Jews carry diseases that will kill the good people of the Nation. Right Governor Cuomo? Right Mayor de Blasio?

And I guess it is fitting that Biden is said to be considering Governor Cuomo as his Attorney General.

Do not take this election for granted. Vote for Trump.

Cuomo and de Blasio pull one of the oldest plays in history: when all else fails, blame the Jews

The deliberate attack on the Orthodox Jews of New York City is undeniable at this point.

First of all, the latest available data shows that the hardest COVID hit areas of New York City are not the Orthodox neighborhoods.

You can view the real-time NYC COVID map here.

Even if the Brooklyn neighborhood of Borough Park is still higher than average for the city, that doesn’t explain what is going on, because other hard-hit areas of the city are not being subjected to the same sort of enforcement.

In Jewish neighborhoods, the Sheriff is sending plainclothes officers to peek in the windows of Synagogues to make sure no unauthorized gatherings (i.e. prayer services) are happening.

With all the COVID enforcement going on in the Jewish neighborhoods of New York, you’d at least think that would curb the anti-Semitic violence.

Nope.

At the very least, if the NYPD doesn’t want to bust these guys for assaulting a Jewish man, can they bust them for not social distancing?

And even when attackers are arrested, New York bail reform lets them out right away to offend again.

There is literally more action taken and punishments given to Jews for praying than there is for beating up a Jew on a city street.

The only way this can get any worse is if Cuomo and de Blasio decide to send all the Jews in New York City to a barbwire enclosed quarantine center upstate.  Now that I’ve said that, that plan is probably in the works for when flu season really hits later in the year.

There is a famous poem by German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller, which I think needs some updating for NYC in 2020

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because the charges were dropped against the socialists since the mayor supported them.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because they were considered non-essential workers.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because they blamed the Jews for the COVID.

Then they came for me—and I was fine with that because they made it clear that Civil Rights didn’t exist in the era of The Virus.
