Leave your gorramed car doors locked.

And the dumb ass that forgot to click the frigging button in the fob was me.

They took only a CRKT fixed blade knife I had for emergencies, not an expensive one, I think I paid under $50 from a buddy who was a  distributor. He/they opened my “Oh Sh*t! kit, dumped the contents but took nothing. Paperwork and other stuff intact, then again other than the kit, there is nothing of value in the truck plus it is a frigging mess inside (on purpose) so it is not a palatable vehicle to search.

What is embarrassing besides forgetting to lock the truck is that I get the nightly MDPD notifications:

Serves me right for getting cocky.

Anderson Cooper is Unserious

Anderson Cooper decided to tackle the issue of 3D printed guns on his show.

Who did he decide to interview?  An engineer with experience in 3D printing?  A gun designer?  An expert on firearms laws?  All of the above?

Fuck no!!!  CNN turned to David Hogg.  A tyrannical little activist shit who finished high school and didn’t get accepted into a single college he applied to.

Right off the bat everything about this topic was tainted.

“Trump’s State Department settled” is how you know it’s unserious.  The State Department had a choice, settle quietly or get their asses handed to them by a judge over 1st Amendment grounds.

Obama’s state department was heavy handed with ITAR.  I know ITAR.  It is designed to keep weapons technology out of the hands of enemy nations.  However, there is a balance to it.  The government could (and had) go after you for making a YouTube video of milling your own 80% lower into a receiver or a how-to on installing a drop in target trigger into your AR.  But those cases have been determined not to be ITAR violations.

So the settlement by the State Department with Wilson, rather than get get crushed in court, was a good call.  Cooper presents it like “Trump just gave away the farm on untraceable guns.”

Then he goes to David Hogg.  Why?  Because he was a victim of gun violence.  He has no knowledge or qualifications about this.  Cruz didn’t use a homemade gun in the massacre.  But Hogg attended a school where a shooting happened and now he’s an expert on all things gun related.

In the first minute of his interview he proves that not be the case.  He jumps into the “the NRA makes money off gun sales (no it doesn’t) and how will the NRA make money off homemade guns” bullshit.

Of course, this will not impact gun sales at all.  Nobody is going to replace their collection with single shot plastic zip-guns.  I suspect a lot of ranges will ban these for the same reason they ban reloads – the potential for explosion and injury.  For those who only print a receiver, guess who makes the uppers, barrels, bolt groups, and other parts necessary to make the rest of the gun?  Gun companies.  This whole argument isn’t just stupid, it’s fucking stupid.

Then he dives right into the “the NRA gave Trump $30 million of Russian money.”  More horseshit.

This whole interview was filled with garbage, lies, and bullshit.

I hate this ghost gun bullshit.  Criminals have been filing off serial numbers since serial numbers have been in existence.  Any criminal who wants an untraceable gun isn’t going to buy or use a 3D printer to make a ghost gun.  He’s going to get a gun off the street or through a straw purchase or just steal it, and attack the serial number with a Dremel.  It’s a lot easier and cheaper and, unlike what you see on CSI, hard as shit to trace.

I can’t believe that Anderson Cooper did this interview seriously.

I have to believe that this is really a performance art piece titled “How to destroy the last of your credibility worse than Jim Acosta’s antics.”

It’s the only way this makes any sense.

The NYT is still the paper of Walter Durante

This was Tweeted by the New York Times on Saturday.

Because “Diversity is our Strength™” it is a problem that New Hampshire (and Vermont and Maine) are still mostly white.

Here’s the thing, there can be many reasons that a region has a certain ethnic population.  It could be benign, i.e. patterns of human migration, or it could be malevolent, i.e., enforced discriminatory practices.

The upper Mid West for example, has a large population of people of German and Norwegian heritage because the upper Mid West had a climate and condition that north central Europeans found very familiar and comfortable in.

There is little to indicate that New Hampshire is currently 94% white because of segregation.  The demographics of the region seem to be the result of human migration patters, driven by the economy, geography, and climate of the region, i.e., not a lot of heavy industry, cold and rugged terrain, etc.

If people who are not white want to move to the region for jobs or economic opportunity, fine.  I hope they are treated fairly.  But the attitude of the NYT seems to be “there are a lot of white people there and we need to thin out their numbers.”

The problem is that “there is a lot of [ethnic group] there and we need to thin out their numbers” has historically ended in mass graves.

Just ask the Native Americans, or the Armenians, or Jews, or Tutsis, or Chinese in Cambodia, or Kurds, or Yazidi, the list goes on.

Even if you don’t intend to ethnically cleanse a region (though I believe that deep in their heart of hears every Leftist really does want to cleanse the world of people they don’t agree with) it is the same attitude that genocidal governments and mobs have had in the past.  You just want to “thin out the population” in a more gentle way.

The New York Times of Walter Durante didn’t have a problem with the undesirables being thinned out in Russia and The New York Times of today doesn’t have a problem with the undesirables being thinned out in New Hampshire.

FREE SPEECH FILES & CODE

  • Liberator (Download)– The Liberator is a physible, 3D-printable single shot handgun, the first such printable firearm design made widely available online, designed by Defense Distributed.

They don’t understand the giggling.

So the Opposition got itself a judge (Clinton appointee from Seattle)  to issue a temporary restraining order and somehow they are upset we are not pulling our hair.

I bet they swear the sharing of the files has been stopped and they are no longer available online. I mean, you could not find the blueprints of the Liberator 3D pistol in other sites like this humble blog, right?

And if you are of the old school, DIY, greasy hands type, you could be trading information, experience and parts in places like the forum at Weapons Guild. (Thanks Jerry!)

If you are of the lonesome type, you can check the many videos in YouTube that show how to build zip guns. Hell, the blueprints and instructions are online!

And in thousands of homes across the nation, beginners are building their first AR15 on a finished 80% lower (sans serial number)  with parts available one click way and really cheap.

OK, so we are not giggling, we are laughing ourselves into a hernia because you should had not poked that particular animal. Nobody was paying attention to 3D printed guns and now most everybody is and wants one. It is the same thing when in the 90s you decide to try and ban AR 15s and AK 47s which only a very few even care for and now they are the most popular type of rifle in the US.

You suckers don’t learn.
