Rashida Tlaib is a Progressive racist

Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is a racist.  She’s a Progressive so it’s expected that she’s a racist.  But, just like Justin Trudeau’s blackface, knowing that she’s a racist and actually seeing it on video is still pretty jarring.

Rep. Tlaib took a tour of the Detroit Police Department and was shown the facial recognition system they are using to try and find criminals in real-time on Detroit’s streets.

Tlaib expressed her opinion that only black police officers should be racial recognition analysts because to white people, all blacks look alike.

To his incredible credit, the Chief of Detroit Police disagreed with Tlaib and called out the racist double standard on her saying that.

What is absolutely clear is that we can put “white people” next to “Jews” on the list of things that Rashida Tlaib hates.

Florida: HB 273 – Carrying of Firearms. (Florida Constitutional Carry, a ballsy bill & I like it.)

HB 273 – Carrying of Firearms

General Bill by Sabatini (CO-SPONSORS) Hill
Carrying of Firearms: Removes requirement that license to carry concealed firearm is required in order to carry such firearm; limits areas in which concealed carrying of firearm is prohibited; revises criminal penalties; revises provisions relating to carrying of concealed weapons by nonresidents; provides for issuance of concealed carry licenses for reciprocity purposes; specifies that person not otherwise prohibited by law from possessing firearm may own, possess, & lawfully use firearms & other weapons, ammunition, & supplies for lawful purposes.

Reading real quick we have obviously no requirement of license to carry in Florida but the CWL will still be available for those who want it to travel to other states that demand a permit. I would keep my CWL just for the fact it is a “Good Guy Card” and buying guns without having to deal with the Waiting Period.

Knocks down carrying in Gun Free Zones from a felony to a misdemeanor. Good! A stupid mistake should not make you a Prohibited Person.
(But Muh Rights! There shouldn’t be any Gun Free Zones!” – I know Junior, baby steps and stop eating the crayons.)

Open Carry during mandatory evacuations.  I like it but I feel some will take it as openly patrolling their neighborhood with the rifles strapped to their chests. The law is specific: .”..on or about his or her person while in the act of evacuating during a mandatory evacuation order issued during a state of emergency declared by the Governor.” If you ain’t moving out, you cant OC.

Reciprocity: Welcome to Florida, you can carry.  Do you have a Permit from a State that does not honor ours? No biggie, you go on and carry in the Gunshine State anyway.

I have an issue with carrying in a pharmacy. They eliminated the allowance of people with CWL to carry, but it leaves a gaping hole about Constitutional Carry in the location that can be used by Gun Unfriendly counties as placed prohibited to carry. They may need to rewrite this. I am going to shoot an email to the Sabatini aids. Somebody remind me later.

Open Carry of firearms. It leaves concealed carry of electric weapon without a license illegal.  Too many Taser Drive-bys?

Parking Lot Carry: No need for a license to park in your company’s lot.

Now let’s check reality: The Opposition is gonna have a conniption and fight this bill to the death. They are going to have issues with the excuse of blood on the streets and the shooting of buses full of nuns and orphans after more than three decades of CWL statistics. Short of our side fucking up big time and not showing up to support the bill and interaction with our legislators in a constant but polite manner, I do believe we have a moderate chance to get this passed.

The Gun Free Zones violations from a felony to a misdemeanor. Other than spite, I don’t see how this would be rejected. The Opposition will be mentioning the School Shooters, but I reckon if they are intending o commit murder or other felonies, they won’t give a damn if bringing a gun to school is a felony or a misdemeanor.

Open Carry during mandatory evacuations. I can hear them now: “We will see people evacuating and armed with AR15s in their cars and pick up trucks like it was a scene from Mad Max! People will be afraid, nervous, and anything will spark a shootout between vehicles locking down the evacuation routes. MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL DIE!”  My take, it will be nice if we get it, but I won’t lose sleep if we don’t. I rather spend political brownie points in ConsCarry.   (I just made that up, probably not the first one)

Full reciprocity. Again, unless out of spite and lack of support, this should be easy to accept.

And Pharmacy Carry in my opinion needs to be re-written for clarifications before it even gets to the first discussion in sub-committee.

Those are my personal takes on the bill. We are three months away from the beginning  of the new legislative session so start prepping now

Socialism Strikes Once Again: Chicken Coops.

Yay the Bolivarian Revolution!

Translated via Microsoft Edge Browser.

Chicken meat is cheap because it is easy to raise chickens, specially if you do it on an industrial basis. On the East side of Caracas (back in my not so younger years), there was a chicken processing plant and they had a retail section open 2 or 3 times a week where you could go get freshly processed chicken if you were not fussy about not being packaged.  The chicken was put up for sale (plucked, gutted and cut) in big plastic boxes with rolls of plastic bags next to them. You picked what you wanted, bagged it and went to the register where it was weighed and ringed. I forget exactly the prices, but I remember mom commenting it was less than half you could get at your regular supermarkets.  The company was processing so much chicken that rather than wasting it or freezing it, they would sell it at a heavy discount.

Now they have to ask kids to grow chickens in the classrooms so they can eat, maybe.

Because Socialism works.

Anti-Trumpers tear down the Blue Wall

Late last year, Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Ron Helus was killed in the line of duty.

This Sunday, there was supposed to be a charity flag football game put on by a group called Fallen Officers, to raise money for Sgt. Helus’ widow.

The 1st Annual Sgt. Ron Helus Blue Bowl Co-Ed Flag Football Tournament is to benefit the families of the Fallen Officers. This is a flag football tournament made up of men, woman and kids. The Blue Bowl teams are made up local businesses, police officers and residents of the area to come together and unite to show support for Law Enforcement and help the families of our Fallen Officers.

October 6, 2019 will be the 1st Annual A Sgt. Ron Helus Blue Bowl Co-Ed Flag Football Tournament. The money raised by sponsors, team registrations and donations will go to helping the family of Ron Helus and The Fallen Officers which supports The Robert L. Zore Foundation. We will have a great pre-memorial service which includes bag pipes, presenting of the colors, moment of silence and a few words from our Presenting Sponsor, Governor, Congressional, Senate leaders as well as local leaders and law enforcement. We will present the family with a check during this memorial and followed by the National Anthem and a fly over by the Ventura Sheriff Dept.

This event has been cancled.

Take a guess why?

Trump, that’s why.

Borderline mass shooting charity event canceled due to Trump supporter controversy

A charity flag football event in honor of fallen Ventura County Sgt. Ron Helus, the deputy killed in the Borderline mass shooting in 2018, has been put on hold after organizers say a local police chief and a Democratic politician derailed it because they didn’t want Republicans at the event.

Jerseys with Sgt. Helus’ name were donated by the L.A. Rams and footballs with his image were ready to be signed by Rams players. Sgt. Helus’ wife had already met with organizers and supported the event.

The Blue Bowl was supposed to happen at Newbury Park High School on Sunday. Thousands of dollars had already been raised for Sgt. Helus’ family, but now all that money is being returned to donors after organizers say Thousand Oaks Police Chief Tim Hagel convinced organizations to pull out of the event.

Mike Randall, Vice President of the Fallen Officers Foundation, which organizes the Blue Bowl, says things started going south when he allegedly got a text from Hagel saying there were serious issues with the event, specifically that the speakers would cause local political issues.

The Blue Bowl speaker list was bipartisan. It included Gov. Gavin Newsom’s public safety liason, Trump supporter Scott Baio, who went to the same church as Sgt. Helus, as well as Trump-supporting singer Joy Villa, who was to sing the national anthem.

Randall says in a phone call, Hagel questioned why the Trump supporters were invited.

“He basically said over and over in the conversation this is not Trump country, that slogan ‘Make America Great’ is not favorable, popular, within 1,200 square miles, that we don’t want Republicans here, I could not believe it… We were totally floored by this comment, ‘the only thing,’ and I quote, ‘the only thing you coulda made this worse, Mike, was to invite dick Cheney and Sarah Huckabee Sanders,’ and I went…wow are you kidding me?” Randall said.

This is egregious.  The event was canceled, the Helus family had to return the money, and it was made clear that the Thousand Oaks law enforcement community would not support the widow of a fallen officer if two Republican minor celebrities showed up to help raise funds for her.

Again, this needs to be made crystal clear.  The person who spearheaded the canceling of a fundraiser for a Sheriff’s Deputy killed in the line of duty was the Chief of Police for the city of Thousand Oaks, Tim Hagel.

Sheriff Scott Israel is still the worst law enforcement chief in the country, but Tim Hagel is now a close second.

I thought the Blue Wall was impenetrable.  It isn’t.  The one thing capable of breaking through the Blue Wall is TDS.

Here is what really shocks me.  Thousand Oaks is the second-largest and the wealthiest city in Ventura County.  Now that the Chief of Police for Thousand Oaks has gone out of his way to hurt the widow of a fallen Ventura County sheriff’s deputy, what will the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office do for the City of Thousand Oaks.

I’m sure that if a Thousand Oaks police officer comes under fire and calls for backup, the other Ventura County deputies might be very slow to respond, or worse.

Given how Blue Ventura County and Thousand Oaks are, I doubt there will be much blow back for Chief Hagel.

I’m not sure if this kind of partisan action by the Chief of Police constitutes a violation of his office or not, but given that he’s a Democrat in California, even if he broke the law doing this, nothing will happen to him.

Still, this is despicable.

Smashing the hand that supports you.

The move by Police Chief Nicholas Caristo and Mayor Gail Coniglio comes in the wake of a March incident when members of the gun-rights group Florida Carry displayed firearms at the Royal Park Bridge.
Palm Beach Police Chief Nicholas Caristo and Mayor Gail Coniglio are urging the state senate to change the wording of the Florida Weapons and Firearms statute.
They have written a letter to State Sen. Bobby Powell prompted by the Town Council at its April 23 meeting after the gun group Florida Carry, which supports President Donald Trump, stopped at a bridge within the Town of Palm Beach openly displaying firearms.

Palm Beach police chief, mayor want to amend wording of Fla. gun statute

And what is it they want? The modification of Florida Statute 790.25 (3) (h) that allows “A person engaged in fishing, camping, or lawful hunting or going to or returning from a fishing, camping, or lawful hunting expedition;” to Open Carry. They want the statute modified to expand Open Carry Free Zones:

They are requesting that the language in the statute be expanded to say a lawful activity “may not be conducted within 1,500 feet of the real property comprising any school, house of worship, government building, or guarded beach.”

This not unexpected. We are just simply seeing the fruits of the Tree of Dumb growing and I am keeping my eye on the Florida Legislature website for when the bill is up for consideration. A bill that probably will be discussed in at least one sub committee and I am willing to bet NOT ONE of the Chest Thumpers® will show up to the hearing to fight against something that should have not been brought up in the first place, but was because you needed to play dumb games.

But that is not as bad as the next item. This is something that slides right into the domain of stupid.

In its website, Florida carry identifies itself as a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization who has applied for 501(c)(4) status. Lord knows the last time the website was updated, so I don’t know if the 501(c)(4) status is active or still pending. If I am not mistaken, a 501(c)(4) organization is federally Tax Exempt as long as it does not engage directly in politics as in supporting a party or a candidate or they risk losing the Tax Exempt status and getting audited.  If you notice in the article, the paper had no problems sticking Florida Carry as direct supporters of President Trump  from the get go.

From what little I have been able to gather, Florida Carry and many of its members was not aware that the Trump flag was going to be used. Also, members have commented about the non-partisan nature of the organization, perhaps worrying about the tax exemption or maybe because there has been a change on the group they were not informed about which is natural.

And no, the OCI clan did not apologize nor it seems they understand the consequences of their actions which can go as far bad as Florida Carry being shut own and its leadership ending up in Federal trouble for violations of the Tax Law.  And it probably has not crossed their minds that helping the Opposition with ideas on adding Gun Control bills to the legislative session is something we should avoid entirely.
