Feeling Down Post Election

Yesterday was not a good day for the gun community.

John Fetterman won in PA.  How?

Governor Hochul of NY won her first election to governor.  We had high hopes but it just didn’t come close.

Seems that some crazy BLM supporter in his underwear having a fight with Paul Pelosi over a hammer is a huge threat to democracy from conservatives but somebody attacking an actual candidate on stage is a nothing burger.

A bit further north Maggie Hassan won re-election. Just a wee bit of dirty tricks there as the Democrat party poured money into Don Bolduc’s primary campaign to get him nominated and then painted him as extreme.

Same with the democrats running for the house in NH.  Both won.

In Georgia we are going to have a runoff but it doesn’t look good.

I was hoping for a strong majority in the House and it currently looks like a bare majority.

The Senate appears to be a toss up right now and it might be that the Senate is controlled by the Democrats.

If this happens, the anti-gun bills that the house passed but which were not heard in the Senate might be heard in the Senate.  I’m not sure if a bill from last session can be heard this session.

Bluntly I’m pretty down today.  I’m hoping to feel a bit better tomorrow.

Something seems fucky here

Let me get this straight:

DeSantis was leading in the polls.  Florida has no “election irregularities” because Florida fixed that shit (Florida only makes mistakes once).  DeSantis blows Crist out of the fucking water with 60% of the vote.

Rubio was favored in the polls and he won in Florida.

JD Vance was leading in the polls.  There were no “voting irregularities” in Ohio and he won with 53% of the vote.

Dr. Oz beat the fucking pants off of John Fetterman in the debate and was leading in the polls.  There were “voting irregularities” and Fetterman won.

Keri Lake was leading in the polls.  There were “voting irregularities” in Arizona and her opponent Katie Hobbs won.

It seems like in states without “voting irregularities” the Republican favored in the polls won.

In states with “voting irregularities” the Republican favored in the polls lost.

Something seems fucky to me.

Caught in the Spam/Moderation Filter? Don’t fret

If your comment to a post does not show up, it may have been trapped in the spam/moderation filter. We do check the filter, but maybe not as fast as we should. I believe I personally restore 99% of them, but then again, I’ve known you bastards’ writing style for a long while and know you are legitimate readers.

There used to be a warning when you got caught in the filter, but I believe it is no longer working or at least I have not been able to find it in the page editing tools.

So, comment away.
