I got a package delivered at four in the morning.
I am guessing it has to do with the Holiday rush, but an unknow car coming in a driveway in the boonies at that hour can get the residents a mite excited.
Then again, not breaking perimeter till I was damned sure nobody was trying to set me up was the way to go.
And yes, I was armed.

An unknown car coming into any driveway at 0400 is valid reason for getting “the residents a mite excited.”
I’m waiting for the Home Invasion Brigade to procure some Amazon boxes and Prime tape to drop decoy packages on doorsteps – look outside, see an Amazon box, figure it’s legit and when you open the door to get it you discover it isn’t, so letting it age on the porch for a while is a good idea. That Amazon contract delivery drivers – they’re all “contact”, Amazon uses local logistics firms, not their own employees – using their POV instead of the standard gray Prime-labeled vans creates another Point of Concern.
And, I’m not ruling out the Home Invasion Troops following an Amazon delivery vehicle to do the same thing with a legit package instead of just Porch Pirating it. Aware and Armed is good.
They do that out my way of the sticks as well.. The wife and I no longer select “next day” delivery from Prime even though it is an option for most items. It’s worth the wait for another day to not have someone coming up the driveway well after dark in a personal vehicle. The package can wait.
That one ties in to my comment on J.kb’s post yesterday. The non-uniformity of delivery drivers/vehicles combined with making deliveries well outside of normal delivery hours leads to some possibilities of some negative outcomes.

I’ve never had one hit early, but that would normally be about the time I’m leaving the house to hit the gym and an unknown/unmarked vehicle pulling into my driveway as I’m rolling out . . . that would be a rough start to the morning.
Today I got in my car to go grab lunch, and an Amazon van pulled up right behind me and stopped. The driver grabbed a package, almost dropped it at my place (habit?) but double-checked and it was for my neighbor. First time I’ve been blocked-in by a delivery.
