Aaaaand this is why I don’t want a 300 Blackout gun in the house, except if I were to get rid of all my 5.56 NATO guns first.
It’s a lot harder to make such a mistake without the proper materials on hand.
Does .458 SOCAL create the same issue, or are those ok?
As I’ve said before, I like the idea of 300 Blowup cartridge, but this issue leaves a lot to be desired.
Much of what 300BLK provides, 7.62×39 has delivered for decades now without the ability to cross-chamber with 5.56. Yes, one needs different magazines … But again I think that is a feature not a bug.
