Some news from the Colorado Springs gay nightclub shooting:

Colorado Springs nightclub patron grabbed gun from shooter: mayor

The gunman who opened fire at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs on Saturday night was subdued by a patron who snatched a handgun from the shooter and struck him with the firearm, according to the city’s mayor.

Aldrich was wearing body armor and was equipped with an AR-15-style rifle, according to The New York Times.

More and more we see this bad guys wearing body armor.

Your concealed carry handgun probably won’t punch through that.

You need to be ready to start the fight between the top of his dick and bottom of his belly button.

Shatter the pelvis, destroy the lumbar spine, sever the sciatic nerve cluster, and lacerate the iliac arteries.  That is your goal.

Those are fight stopping hits, maybe not right away, but they will anchor the bad guy and take away his ability and desire to cause hsvoc.

From a CNN article on the Colorado Springs gay nightclub shooting.

Gov. Jared Polis ordered flags lowered to half-staff at all public buildings statewide to honor the victims of the mass shooting beginning Monday until Saturday, according to a news release from his office.

“Flags will be lowered for 5 days to remember each of the 5 individuals who lost their lives in this senseless tragedy,” the release read. “To further honor and remember the victims and those injured in this tragedy, the Polis-Primavera administration will also be flying the Pride flag at the Colorado state capitol for the next five days.”

After multiple Synagogue shootings, did any governor order Star of David flags flown?

Of course not.

Even if they did, the Left would sue the fuck out of them foe First Amendment violations.

Did any other group that was a victim of a tragedy get their flag flown?

Only Pride gets their flag flown.

That is a de facto state religion.

I wonder if he’ll regret this when shit goes to hell

This was a Twitter engagement I had this morning.

 

I’m going to try and reiterate my point here:

Our democracy functions with the peaceful transition of power when both sides, the winner and loser, agree that the voting system operated fairly and the election of the winner was the will of the majority (either direct or Electoral College, depending on the race) of the people.

That is supposed to temper our politics.

Thr losing side, ideally, will anend it’s positions to appeal to the majority next time.  The winner, depending on their margin of victory, would also try and appeal to the majority so they don’t lose next time.

Fairness and moderation.

What happens when that fails?

What happens when the losing side feels that the system isn’t fair and they lost unjustly?

They are not inclined to trust the system. They feel disenfranchised.

And what about the winning side?

Are they tempted to moderation to appeal to the majority in reelection or are they tempted to go to extremes because their victory doesn’t require appealing to voters because they can manipulate the system?

What ultimately happens in this situation?

History shows us perfectly clearly: violence.

Political violence is held at bay by a properly functioning, fair and transparent political system.

Take that away and the losing side has every motivation to circumvent the system with force.

This happened in America, in the great state of Tennessee in the Battle of Athens (the McMinn County War).

Jim doesn’t understand the bear that he is poking.

“Hey, remember when I said I was concerned about the process that caused my candidate to lose and you said I was a sore loser and my concerns were stupid? Good, now get on your knees and face the ditch.”

I’d rather avoid the political violence, but I guess he doesn’t.

Having a security camera is great until you stop using it they way you should.

This guy has a security camera installed but clearly did not look at it before opening his door.

Every red flag was up that his guy was not a pizza delivery man.

The box was not held level, there was no warming bag, you can’t see both of his hands, the aggressive knocking.

The front door camera is more than just a tool to record a crime but to prevent ot by seeing who is at thr door before you open it.

Security is not just about technology but the mindset employed.

FBI opens investigation into killing of Palestinian American Shireen Abu Akleh

The U.S. Justice Department recently informed the Israeli Justice Ministry that the FBI has opened an investigation into the death of Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed in May while covering an Israeli military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, Israeli officials said Monday.

White House National Security Council spokesperson referred Axios to the DOJ.

“Our thoughts remain with the Abu Akleh family as they grieve this tremendous loss. Not only was Shireen an American citizen, she was a fearless reporter whose journalism and pursuit of truth earned her the respect of audiences around the world,” the NSC spokesperson added.

Here are some member of Congress on this topic.

 

Shireen Abu Akleh was in the middle of a firefight where the IDF was engaged with Palestinian terrorists who were hiding among civilians in a camp in Jenin.

The world immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was assassinated by the evil Jews.

Everyone just accepted the Palestinian narrative, despite (because) the Palestinians lie constantly about Israel.

Now the FBI is going to investigate her death and Democrats on Congress are ready to convict Israel simply because Israel.

US moves to shield Saudi crown prince in journalist’s killing

The Biden administration declared Thursday that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince should be considered immune from a lawsuit over his role in the killing of a U.S.-based journalist, a turnaround from Joe Biden’s passionate campaign trail denunciations of Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the brutal slaying.

The administration said the senior position of the crown prince, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler and recently named prime minister as well, should shield him against a suit brought by the fiancée of slain Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi and by the rights group Khashoggi founded, Democracy for the Arab World Now.

The Saudi crown prince had Khashoggi murdered at the Saudi embassy in Turkey, cut into pieces, and brought home in a duffel bag.

But the US Government is now protecting the prince from a lawsuit.

There is no group of Congress, especially from the Left, calling for accountability for Saudi Arabia.

It couldn’t be clearer that thr ONLY motion here I’d Jew hatred.

This has nothing to do with principles or protection of journalists.

This is just Jew hating motherfuckers using every opportunity to attack Israel.

Moped robberies are popular in South America, the UK, and France.

They have been tried from time to time in Miami.

The problem for the robbers was most Miamians were wary of two guys on a moped and concealed carry is legal.

In New York City, concealed carry is banned so the city has degenerated into a third world shithole where moped robberies are now a trend.

New York has a brand, and that brand is North Caracas.

BREAKING NEWS: Uvalde acting police chief RESIGNS after mayor vowed he ‘will be gone by the end of the week’: Damning new audio proves he KNEW there were ‘eight to nine’ children alive and needing rescue during massacre but failed to help

Lt. Mariano Pargas of the Uvalde Police Department has resigned from his position, days before he was likely to be dismissed at a ‘special meeting’ of the city’s council.

Pargas, 65, was the commanding officer on the scene when 19 children and two teachers were shot dead by crazed gunman Salvador Ramos on May 24 at Robb Elementary School.

The resignation comes days after CNN published damning audio and video that showed the officer failing to act and properly relay information about the unfolding attack.

The dispatcher told Pargas that there were eight or nine students still alive inside of the classroom. He asked the dispatcher: ‘This calls you got in from the… from one of the students, what did they say?’ She answers: ‘Ok, Khloie’s going to be, it’s Khloie. She’s in Room 112, Mariano, 112.’

The dispatcher goes on to tell Pargas: ‘Eight to nine are still alive. She’s not too sure… She’s not too sure how many are actually DOA or possibly injured. We’re trying.’ He replies: ‘Ok, ok thanks’ and then hangs up.

A minute later, Pargas is shown relaying the information he obtained to a Border Patrol agent inside of a Robb Elementary School hallway. However, when Pargas goes outside to talk with a Texas Ranger outside of the school, he didn’t mention the 911 call.

McLaughlin said: ‘I think if we’d have had this, all this, and I think if we would have had your video and what we saw and everything we saw last night, I think Mariano would have been gone sooner, in my opinion, would have been gone.’

They knew there were kids still alive, a lieutenant was told by dispatch but did nothing to act on that information.

If this man had any decency left, he’d go home and eat his service weapon.

If he doesn’t, I wouldn’t convict a grieving parent gave him service weapon gavage.
