Never forget what going Woke took from the Navy

I recently came across the fascinating history of the USS New Orleans (CA-32).

The New Orleans saw some of the heaviest fighting during the Pacific war, beginning on December 7, 1941, at Pearl Harbor and continuing with action at Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal, and later in the Gilbert, Marshall, Marianas, Philippine, and Okinawa campaigns. It was during the Battle of Tassafaronga on November 30, 1942, off Guadalcanal that the New Orleans sustained its heaviest damage. A Japanese Type 93 “Long Lance” torpedo detonated the forward magazines and destroyed 150 feet of hull. The impact of the explosion killed 182 men. A further 50-yard length of the ship’s bow and forecastle tore away from the ship as she struggled to stay afloat.

The Damage Control Officer on the New Orleans, Lieutenant Commander Hubert M. Hayter, and two of his men, Lieutenant Richard A. Haines and Ensign Andrew L. Forman, remained at their damage control posts despite the fact that it was filling up with toxic fumes. These three brave men were eventually asphyxiated by the fumes and perished. The ship’s chaplain, Howell M. Forgy, later wrote about Hayter, “I wondered what he thought about in those final minutes, but I knew one thing: he was not afraid.”

Following the end of the battle, the New Orleans limped back to Tulagi harbor across from Guadalcanal where temporary repairs were made to try to save the ship. After working furiously for 11 days, the crew of the New Orleans managed to get the ship in a good enough condition to sail for Australia for more permanent repairs. However, due to the temporary coconut log bow, the ship had to sail backward to prevent flooding from sinking the ship.

Let’s recap, the USS New Orleans is struck by a torpedo, 183 crewmen were killed, the remaining crew put out the fire, steams it to port, patches it up with local coconut logs, then steams it backwards almost 1,200 miles across the South Pacific to safe harbor for repairs.

Seventy-eight years later the USS Bonhomme Richard burned to the keel and was lost, during peace time, docked at an American port in San Diego, because one asshole set a fire.

Now the Navy is adding two more weeks to boot camp for “more mentorship, life skills and personal and professional development.”

According to The Daily Mail:

“The Navy will add two weeks of training to its boot camp program that focusing on suicide and sexual assault prevention, hazing and extremism.  It also includes the rise of extremism after several former and active military members took part in the January 6 Capitol riot.”

The last decade or so of going Woke in the military has done more damage to our Navy than all the Tojo torpedoes.

Yesterday I said we had data on what percentage of Democrats wanted fascist like total control over the unvaccinated.

The Salt Lake Tribune decided to be another data point.

Utah leaders have surrendered to COVID pandemic, the Editorial Board writes

Government officials, mostly but not exclusively Republicans, were apparently determined not to be caught governing in the face of this challenge. Any move or recommendation to mask up or, when safe and effective vaccines became available, to make vaccination a requirement of admission to public places and society in general was shouted down as an unwarranted imposition on individual freedoms.

Were Utah a truly civilized place, the governor’s next move would be to find a way to mandate the kind of mass vaccination campaign we should have launched a year ago, going as far as to deploy the National Guard to ensure that people without proof of vaccination would not be allowed, well, anywhere.

Seems like the Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board is part of the 59% of Democrats who believe the unvaccinated should be locked in their homes under house arrest.

Of course the Editorial Board is willing to send armed troops to do it.

All because some people refuse to obey Biden  tyrannical mandate to take a mostly useless vaccine.

Fascists.

Soldiers, in uniform (PTs are still uniform), in barracks, posting videos on an app that we absolutely know the Chinese monitor.

Trump banned TikTok, the Deep State Justice Department imposed an injunction against the ban, and Biden reversed it.

And now we’re back to US Military personnel making videos inside military installations with all the Metadata attached.

There is no way the Biden Administration and the DOJ don’t know this.  Which means they are allowing it to happen on purpose.

The Soviets wasted a lot of money and effort spying on Americans.

As it turns out Americans will freely give up everything for likes on social media.

Because gun control is the answer to radical Islamist terrorism?  That’s because they have to strike that from the narrative and focus on the guns.

She’s shown more solidarity with an anti-Zionist, Leftist, Muslim terrorist apologist than with the Jews taken hostage.

How dare Jews take the threat of terrorism seriously and arm and defend themselves against it.

Jews must be disarmed and only allowed to show support and solidarity with people who want to kill them for being Jews.

Leftist Jews are evil within and seek only to harm the Jewish community by pushing lies that make us less safe.

I’ll post a Tweet like this from some Lefty who wants to use COVID restriction compliance as an excuse to expose his mass murdering despotic intentions.

Then I’ll say something like this:

Taking this Tweet as face value, if you are unvaccinated doctors should refuse to treat you for anything.  Do you have cancer?  Did you have a heart attack?  Did you fall and break something?  Were you in a car accident?  You get to suffer and die now because you refused to acquiesce to the demand that you take a vaccine that neither prevents catching or transmitting a mostly survivable virus.

COVID-19: Democratic Voters Support Harsh Measures Against Unvaccinated

A new Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of voters favor President Joe Biden’s plan to impose a COVID-19 vaccine mandate on the employees of large companies and government agencies. That includes 33% who Strongly Favor the mandate. Forty-eight percent (48%) are opposed to Biden’s vaccine mandate, including 40% who Strongly Oppose the mandate.

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of voters would oppose a proposal for federal or state governments to fine Americans who choose not to get a COVID-19 vaccine. However, 55% of Democratic voters would support such a proposal, compared to just 19% of Republicans and 25% of unaffiliated voters.

Fifty-nine percent (59%) of Democratic voters would favor a government policy requiring that citizens remain confined to their homes at all times, except for emergencies, if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. 

Nearly half (48%) of Democratic voters think federal and state governments should be able to fine or imprison individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. 

Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. 

47% of Democrats favor a government tracking program for those who won’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Twenty-nine percent (29%) of Democratic voters would support temporarily removing parents’ custody of their children if parents refuse to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

More than half of Democrats want you fined and imprisoned in your home for not getting vaccinated, half want you fined or imprisoned for questioning the vaccine, nearly half want you hauled off to a COVID internment camp,  and almost a third want your kids taken from you.

Again, all the data shows the vaccine does not stop a person from catching or transmitting thr virus.  At most it reduces the duration, severity  and mortality of the virus.  So getting the vaccine does little to nothing to slow the spread and protect society, again at best it is an individual protection reducing the likelihood of a severe reaction.

So any pseudo altruistic motivation for vaccination, i.e., “get vaccinated to protect grandma,” is null and void.

This is purely about compliance.  When the government demanded you get a vaccination, did you comply or resist?

So now we know the rate at which Democrats will imprison you and take your children for not obeying some octogenarian career bureaucrat.

I keep saying we are headed into something terrible.

Roughly half of Democrats, who make up more than half of the electorate, or slightly more than one quarter of the county, wants to put the other half under house arrest or in internment camps.

There is no way that situation is sustainable or can be resolved peacefully.
