Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

When the Enemy is making a mistake…

…do not correct them. And Gun Control has taken the side of Black Lives Matters/Fuck The Pigs  and the Anti Cop sentiment among the Left.

Somebody “got scared” (more likely decided to teach the cop a lesson) and had a LEO removed from an Outback Restaurant.

In an update to his initial post, Ward noted that he was asked to leave after Outback management bent to the will of an unhinged customer. According to Ward, “There was another customer who was ‘scared for her life’… because ‘police are shooting people.’” Ward explained that “the customer went on to demand to be escorted to her vehicle out of fear of being shot.”
Outback Steakhouse: No Rights, Just Rules

Besides the sheer stupidity of pissing off the local LEOs that you may need to come to you place in case somebody decided to beat the shit out of you for the daily receipts, the manager has engaged in dumb politics that do not benefit his/her franchise. It will take no time for the LEO to find out that the chain has an Anti Gun policy for everybody and thanks to their stupidity, we have one more officer on our side (If he was not there to begin with.)

I can’t see the wrong in that.

The Very Strange Mind of a Gun Control Advocate.

My apologies for the quality of video. I can’t figure out how to download it and the site did not allow for embedding. It is not the totality of the statement but truthfully you don’t need more.

The bill he is arguing against is HB-39:
Removes statement of applicability relating to certain violations of carrying concealed weapon or firearm; reduces penalties applicable to person licensed to carry concealed weapon or firearm for first or second violation of specified provisions relating to openly carrying weapons; provides that person licensed to carry concealed weapon or firearm does not violate certain provisions if firearm is temporarily & openly displayed.

Basically, if you accidentally and temporarily expose your concealed gun and some simpleton asshole calls the cops, you get a first fine of $25 for the first offense, $500 for the second and only you get applied the misdemeanor at the third time.

Moms Demand and the rest have tried (unsuccessfully) to make it appear as if this is some sort of Open Carry For rent scheme. But the testimony of Rick Soskis is brutally bizarre. From stating that he has had a Florida CWP for thirty years but has not carried for 29 1/2 (why would you do that?)  to ask to be nice and open-minded and immediately crap down on 1.8 million Floridians with permits by calling them paranoid.

If I was suspicious man (and I am) I would almost bet that he copied the best rants of Saint Joan Peterson’s blog. He does sound like a True Believer who would have no problem to see your life ended if you favor the Second Amendment.

Of course, he gets to keep hiss CWP and his guns, because what other reason would you have a permit, right? It is not hypocrisy folks, at least not in their minds because they are your betters.

False Advertising for Pet Adoptions: Stupid.

Bo, not taking out on pit Bulls, just the people around them.

Anthropomorphism
(an·thro·po·mor·phism)
The attribution of human characteristics or behavior to a god, animal, or object.

As much as I feel for the people trying to have pit bulls adopted, they are doing the breed a great disservice by portraying them as babies, incapable of harming anybody. That means that the “adoptive parents” will treat them (and train them) as humans rather than domesticated predators.

That can backfire rather badly.

I am not saying to mistreat the animal or not love on it, but what you see as “human behavior” is nothing more than our misguided feelings and their learned response to them. “Cutesy pooh” behavior on a dog is simply the response he gives to your specific stimuli and it is not a higher thought process.

Dogs are part of a pack, not a human family. Act and train them accordingly.

Mississippi Representative (D) waves gun inside the Legislature.

Amazing how Anti Gun idiots have guns and behave stupidly with them without thinking they are doing something wrong.

Muzzle!

A Mississippi state legislator brandished his handgun Thursday on the House floor in order to make a point about his opposition to a proposed gun-rights bill.

Democratic state Rep. Charles Young Jr. was escorted from the chamber at his request after arguing against House Bill 1083, which would allow permit holders to challenge more easily rules forbidding enhanced-carry, according to Y’all Politics.

Dem lawmaker waves gun on Mississippi House floor to protest bill

As it usually happens when Democrat pulls a stunt like that, the bill in consideration passed by a not-so-narrow margin and a final tally of 80-33.

But what makes this particular incident somewhat remarkable is what the Dem said with a straight face:

Rep. Charles Young Jr., D-Meridian, told his colleagues “let’s grow up,” arguing for the House to amend or kill the bill the House passed Wednesday. To make his point, he displayed his FN pistol and his enhanced concealed carry permit.

Gun on the floor: Mississippi lawmaker displays pistol to protest legislation

“Let’s grow up.” His actions were really mature, indeed.

Hat Tip Robert E.

PS: Wait one. Isn’t the FN Five Seven the most hated handgun by Gun Control because it kills cops and only cop killers carry it? Is Rep. Young trying to kill cops? Is he a cop killer?
