Dr Fauxci was doing his rounds on TV yesterday and the latest is that the CDC is considering re-instating the mask mandates for everybody included those vaccinated.

So there is an apparent rise in people infected because of the Delta variant, but by the urgency/not panic tone of the reports, it is not as horrendous as they wish it would be to generate ratings/clickbaits/subscriptions.  And ten you read this:

OK, so the missus, MIL and myself are vaccinated, why do we need to wear a Fauci Diaper for a .05% chance of death? DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN!

There’s also a risk that fully vaccinated people will spread the disease to the unvaccinated, including to children who aren’t yet eligible for the jab. That’s why, despite being fully vaccinated, people may want to take extra precautions by wearing a mask indoors or in crowded areas.

We are back again to the exercise and keeping of power, not epidemiology.  Children (provided they are normal healthy individuals) are the safest group from Covid problems, but yet they are bought out and used as props for purely political BS.  It is social engineering by the Powers That Be who want to see us as Dancing Chickens tap dancing over a hot plate.

A small percentage of those unvaccinated will be sick enough to die because of the choice they made. Sorry but I don’t see how that should affect me into having to wear a mask. ‘You pays your money and you takes your chances’ the saying goes and the same way we have people who respected and left to me my decision to vaccinate, I do the same for those who did not take the shot. Both groups will have to live with their decision and I am tired of a few DC assholes constantly moving goalposts and trying to play with the country like it was a huge Barbie Pandemic set.

One of them is supposed to be some long range relative of the missus. I am going to go with the photo taken sometime in the early 1900s in California. And yes, interesting weapons but I believe they are props.

Maybe then will there be a backlash against Team USA by normies wondering why so many of our athletes are all over TV talking trash about the US and then losing on the international stage.

If they have time to talk trash they have home to train.

They actually put this in a letter and sent it to people.

I come from a culture (both Jewish and upper middle-class) where you do everything you can to give your kids the best educational opportunity to succeed.

My parents spent a lot of money on me to go to a college prep a high school and have SAR tutors.

I sent my kids to the best (and often most expensive) daycare and  pre-K in the area.  I’ve bought resources to have my eldest practice the gifted and talented entry test to get him into our local school’s G&T program (all the private schools in our area are evangelical).  I will do the same for our daughter.

We buy math books and educational programs for him to do during summer so he doesn’t fall behind.

We read to our kids at night.  We taught them to read early.  We don’t park them in front of video games.  My wife loads them up with library books.

I know lots and lots of people like me.

That is how we get ahead.  It’s not inherited wealth, it’s parents who put effort into educating out children.

I could have bought a lot of nice guns or a new truck every other year for what I paid for my children’s pre-K.  I sacrificed for my kids.

Now these activists want people like me to hamstring my kids over White guilt?

Are they fucking kidding me?

No.

Fuck that.

And if they think they can extort us into this (because you know this will go national) they are mistaken.

You want to turn a bunch of upper middle-class parents from moderates to night riders setting fires and beating people, all you have to do is take away the educational opportunities for their children.

After tens of thousands of dollars spent on tutoring and college prep and giving our children every leg up possible for success, committing murder for our kids is well within our capabilities.

Spain depends on tourism to survive or at least it used to.  While there is the regular tourism of tours and the Brit or Gringo coming out to check the sights and the food, there is also what I call Family tourism which is the “americanos” descendants of immigrants visiting the kin they have is Spain.

Back in my younger years and with a strong currency backing us up, we would occasionally take a trip to visit my grandparents and other people and maybe take a month to 45 days. Airlines would offer special packages with those time frames for the whole Latin America, but when the economies started to sag, they were dropped simply because people could no longer afford staying that long. So two and three weeks became the common time to spend.

But having to be locked down for 10 days to be allowed to visit your kin? Why bother traveling at all? It will be cheaper to get somebody a smart phone for the grandparents and use one of those video conferencing apps to say hi and explain why you can’t come visit this year.

Oh well, there is always bailouts from the European Union.
