FORT MYERS, Fla. – A 16-year-old Cypress Lake High School student, who wrestled a loaded revolver away from a teen threatening to shoot, is being punished.
The student grappled the gun away from the 15-year-old suspect on the bus ride home Tuesday after witnesses say he aimed the weapon point blank at another student and threatened to shoot him.

The simple act of saving life is now punished in schools. Unless you are authorized by the proper bureaucracy, you should not attempt to do take life-saving measures.

The Hero Student was suspended for being part of an “incident” where a weapon was present.
The lesson the school is teaching, stand there and wait your turn to die. It seems that the people in charge of our children’s education are the dumbest people on the planet.

Someone needs to get the Mayor to hold a ceremony to honor this kid. I’ll chip in for the medal/reward/new rifle he’s presented. The school board needs to be dragged out, tarred, and feathered.
I hope that student’s parents are in the process of suing the school board. Punishing everyone involved is even more stupid than ignoring the incident.

Unfortunately things like this make me more and more think private or homeschooling is best.
I’ve already decided that homeschooling is best. Every time I see something like this, I cannot help but be validated in my opinion.

The point has been made elsewhere that we shouldn’t rush to judgement. The school board may (!) have good reasons for doing what they did. We should give them the benefit of the same doubt we give someone who has committed a homicide: we’re waiting to hear your reasons for this, and they had better be good ones.
Schools have abused that privilege and proven they are incapable of using reason or logic with these things.
The fact is they have suspended someone for defending himself and preventing someone from shooting someone else. Where I’m from the kid was in the right and their complaint is he didn’t run to a teacher for help.

It is so stupid that a student that PREVENTED another student from being harmed is being punished. It is very true that logic is no longer the way of thinking any more. The SHEEPLE just follow the Zionists that control our government. I am a STRONG supporter of the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th amendments of our CONSTITUTION. Our REPUBLIC has fallen severely since the time of our forefathers. Stand up and speak out against the oppression that is now happening on a regular basis!
