On the Gatling, is that a 20 or a 30? I know the Dutch navy operates systems like that which use the GAU-8 (from the Warthog) as the gun. Nice way to deal with suicide bomber terrorists and other pirates.
The CIWS in the US Navy is a 20mm gatling gun with two radars in the dome.

Nice, because it is likely to work effectively not just on missiles but also on enemy ships, at least the smaller ones. Actually, I wonder how many current day Navy ships have enough armor to stop a round from the GAU-8. Tanks can’t do it, that’s the whole point of that gun. Battleships have armor, but do modern war ships?
