Starting at 34:01, Governor Lujan Grisham makes it clear her illegal order is not about reducing violence.

Grisham: No. But here’s what I do think: It is a pretty resounding message to everybody else in that community to report a crime, to tell us what’s going on, to aid law enforcement to do something different.”
I wonder what is next in this “different” approach? Maybe rounding up 10 civilians and have them flogged till the community bends to her desires? If you do not snitch on a citizen legally carrying, you become an enemy of the State? (AKA enemy of the Governor?)

IIRC, in that same interview, she noted that APD can’t keep up with the current number of crimes. Now she’s potentially adding new crimes. Brilliant.

“I support gun safety but there is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution.”
Now he’s probably more worried about his soap box than our rights but the only tweet supporting Grisham came from Richard Spencer.
He’s using the exact aame verbiage as other usual suspects. Makes me think something came down from on high.
She’s willing to be the test pilot in an experiment by the leftist to learn what resistance there is. The Obama-Biden Puppet administration is behind this. Stomp on the 2nd Amendment defiantly, in the face of everyone, will serve only the leftist’s initiative to formulate a legislative plan to ‘legally address the obstacles’, which remain in the path toward overthrowing the law which defends a person’s God Given Rights to protect themselves from…..the federal government. The People have no right to overrule Washington. “Fight Us, We Dare You” is the message loud and clear. If this is allowed to continue, it will result in State against State crisis, which will justify federal government intervention.
The David Hogg comment was probably just a preemptive measure to let them vilify the right if by some miracle a few GOP govs grow some balls and use the same excuse to shut down every abortion clinic in their state (which is what every GOP governor in America should have done the day after Fuhrer Grisham pulled her shit).
The bottom-line argument the governor bases her decision on is, the leftist policing policy’s failure to effectively stop felonies justifies taking every lawful person’s right to lethal legal protection, because they are not self-policing their neighbors enough, but are instead keeping to themselves, minding their own business, and being prepared legally should the need arise where lawful self-defense is the only means of avoiding becoming a victim of a deadly felony.
