If you are one of those lazy bastards that requested a Mail Ballot because you simply hate dealing with people (Not me, no way. I love people) check with you county Elections Supervisor for options other than cancelling it.
Miami Dade gives you the option of you taking it (Page 9) to a designated location and drop it personally during Early Voting or Election day.
I am so doing the Early Voting thing.

Additional ammo for hand delivering your ballot, instead of dropping it into a mailbox.
In my city, the mail in ballots are too heavy for a single first class stamp. The ballot does identify that fact, but it is hidden in the fine print, and there is no indication on the envelope that a single stamp is sufficient.
If you want your voice to be heard, drop your mail in ballot into an official election department collection box. Do not count on the mail system to work perfectly.
After seeing the blatant fraud perpetrated by DemonKKKrat in 2016 & 2018 for both local and federal elections, I’m so done with mail-in ballots.
This is why we are going to see huge ballot harvesting in deep blue areas. In my opinion. They will be doing things like adding the right amount of postage before they dump the ballots in the mailboxes, or they will be delivering them directly to the election points. Whereas the red areas will be on their own, and people will send in their ballots and three days after the election get back their ballot with “postage due”
Just another point about the USPS. Go to the UPS, FedEx, DHL or any of the commercial carriers web pages, find a phone number and then see how long it takes to talk to a human being about your package. In general it takes only a few minutes. You might be on hold for a little bit but not all that long.
Now try and find a phone number to talk to ANYBODY at the USPS.
All of the numbers listed on the web drop you into an IVR (voice menu thing) with no options to reach a human. Some of the numbers drop you into sub menus which lead back to the main menu.
Ok, try and reach the Inspector General for the USPS. All of the numbers lead back to the USPS contact numbers.
The one number I did find for the IG lead me to an offer to “leave a message” or “talk to somebody” Which dropped me into a voice mail box with a non-de script name on it.
I think you might be able to write a letter to hand to the USPS that might be delivered.
The reason for all of this, a package that has been sitting in Daytona Beach Florida USPS for 8 days in “Package pending acceptance” I.e they say the package was handed to them but they haven’t bothered to check it in. Done with off topic rant.
On topic, don’t mail your ballot, vote in person or drop your mail in ballot off at your polling location.
