In a way and as dangerous as they are, The President’s Blue Ribbon panel Gun control without the presence of any Pro Second Amendment representation, Senator Feinstein’s bill along the proposed state bills in Illinois and what might be coming out of Connecticut is good ammunition to our cause.
THEY CANNOT LONGER SAY THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A “CONVERSATION ABOUT GUNS” AND “WE DON’T WANT TO BAN YOUR GUNS.”
Basically and as we knew all along, they were lying. We know this, the Opposition knows it too since they are the liars, but now we can point out to anybody undecided or just seeking information that anything coming from their camp must be treated with the same confidence as “The check is in the mail” and “I promise I call you in the morning.”
We do have to fight all these schemes, but we have to use every piece of ammo available, specially if provided by the Gun Control Advocates.

With 12 full hours of public testimony last year against a “high capacity magazine” ban during which a grand total of 3 people testified in support of it, I would hope our legislature would realize they are in for a very very long process. Another important thing watching that testimony did was show how little the people legislating actually know about what they are legislating about. More than one representative did not grapes that having a “high capacity magazine” is entirely different than having and automatic weapons! Yet again we see the same thing “there is no place for assault weapons” well none of them actually care enough to know that cut has been assault weapon free since the federal ban because of our own ban! Somehow I that little fact is seemingly of no consequence to anyone in the legislature…
