We won’t be able to hold this “stability” we think we have for much longer.
And yes, I understand the concepts of “keep your head on a swivel” and the rest of the litany, but that makes for only a very few of us.

Traditional Law Enforcement and the Justice System have been degraded to the point of being bad jokes at best.

I fear floodgates will soon be open and any semblance of polite society will require the stacking of the bodies of the violent criminals.

  1. “Traditional Law Enforcement and the Justice System have been degraded to the point of being bad jokes at best.”
    .
I suspect they were also not designed to handle the level of criminality we now face.

  2. That dude was minding his own business 3 feet from his own door and a walking pile of shit put a bullet in his brain. I don’t think there’s any level of continuous awareness that can look out for that level of psychopathy. There’s no excuse for not sending that shitstain to the chair with video like that.

    1. Perhaps. Being nose-down in a phone in Condition White does not help one’s situational awareness, nor does it help one appear to not be an easy target. Not saying the victim had it coming, just that he didn’t do himself any favors. Problem is, it’s also behavior that 99.9% of the time has no bad consequences, and it can be hard to just ignore the phone as something to be dealt with later; we have become an “in the moment” society, in a bad way.

As to the rest, I concur.

      1. No, he would have fallen face first from the inertia. Also the shitstain’s arm was at full extension before the victim fell. That was a shot to the back of the head.

  3. In certain areas of society today, there is a prevailing mindset that asserts, “It’s every man for himself, kill or be killed, or stay off the streets”. From this video it’s very clear that there’s an element which tells themselves, “Anyone on the streets is fair game and if they don’t know it, they should die, and I’ll make sure I impose that penalty”.

    1. In this case, I wonder if it wasn’t more of a “I wants it, he has it, and the easiest way to get it is to just kill him” thought process. I’m not sure whether that’s better or worse than your hypothesis.
