So…. the police and Feds ignore tips, miss red flags, fail to respond and people die.

Everybody jumps up and down screaming how it is the fault of the NRA, gun makers, law abiding gun owners, Republicans, etc.

Then, sometime later, the victims try and sue the police for their massive fuck-up and learn that they can go pound sand because the police don’t have a legal duty to do shit to prevent a mass murder.

This story gets buried.

It is a predictable and tiresome cycle.

Unfortunately, as long as politicians, activists, and the media believe it is their job to protect the goverment institutions that failed the people so badly, this cycle will never end.
