Police will enter homes and break up Christmas dinners if families break lockdown rules – and there will be riots, predicts police commissioner

Police chiefs have warned that Christmas family celebrations will be broken up by officers if they flout lockdown rules.

The West Midlands are currently under Tier 2 restrictions, meaning people cannot mix with any other households or bubbles inside.

Mr Jamieson told The Telegraph: ‘If we think there’s large groups of people gathering where they shouldn’t be, then police will have to intervene. If, again, there’s flagrant breaking of the rules, then the police would have to enforce.

‘It’s not the police’s job to stop people enjoying their Christmas. However, we are there to enforce the rules that the Government makes, and if the Government makes those rules then the Government has to explain that to the public.’

Mr Jamieson said he fears civil unrest could boil over in the West Midlands in the near future, with the end of the furlough scheme ‘very likely’ to push people over the edge.

He said: ‘We’re sitting on a time bomb here. We’re getting very near the stage where you could see a considerable explosion of frustration and energy. Things are very on the edge in a lot of communities and it wouldn’t take very much to spark off unrest, riots, damage.’

No shit.  People are suffering from COVID fatigue and Lockdown fatigue. They want to have normalcy in their lives.  Then comes the police to ruin Christmas.

Even the Blitz didn’t ruin Christmas like this.

I would say this is an overreach but this is what happens when you don’t have a Bill of Rights and elect a government that read Orwell as a model not a warning.

I know there are places where this will be tried in the US, especially if Biden wins.

But if you want to see shit go bad real fast, have a SWAT team raid a home for having Christmas dinner as a family and perp walk Americans out of their houses for singing Christmas carols.  Remember that Governor Newsom banned singing at holiday functions because he’s become a parody of a tinpot dictator.

Back the Blue will not take kindly to police kicking in their doors while opening their presents – at least a few this year will be guns.

There is slowing the spread then there is jackbooted thugs breaking up holiday parties.

Cuomo has already done that to the Orthodox Jews of NYC.  Wait until it happens broadly to all Americans at Christmas.

Not too long ago, we were being told by the “experts” that we needed to have a much tighter lockdown just like in Europe and it was the fault of President Trump that we are still suffering the effects of the virus while the rest of the civilized world was on it way to freedom from the bug.

And reality comes crashing down again.

The virus will not disappear because we locked ourselves out: It will either burn itself out or we simply develop antibodies for it and herd immunity kicks in.

These are the numbers I was able to gather from Google. Depending on the source, there are a few thousand more or less, but I believe these represent a fair average.

I substracted the US quantities from the world quantity and checked percentages. I know, it is not truly representative, but this is the stuff they throw at us as proof we are following the wrong path. I ended with messed up-uncaring US having 2.5% of deaths and Lockdown Europe and the World with 2.72% of deaths compared to the number of infected. As usual, somebody check my math.

So, are we going to get a second wave? Probably. Will a lockdown help? Not even at first of second glance. Sure as hell did not help for Europe on bit. But maybe this time, we concentrate the resources around the population that is truly at risk and not do a shotgun approach with our resources. and waste them on healthy people.

We can start by not shoving sick people into nursing homes filled with healthy people. The Cuomo healthcare Approach to Covid has been prove deadly wrong.

Yes, all 330 million Americans are bad, selfish people because locking an entire country in their homes, except for a few approved essential activities, for four months, with the threat of arrest for non-compliance is remotely possible or reasonable.

“15 days to slow the spread” has turned into most of the year and “until there are no new cases.”

This is crap.  We slow the spread with a lockdown and as soon as it’s lifted it spreads again.

I’m expecting news from the future to be:

“October 2023, to prevent a COVID 12th wave, the government has ordered a Stage 6 lockdown. No one will be allowed to leave their home for any reason.  The government has contracted with Amazon Prime to provide drone delivery of food and necessity rations to all Americans. In other news, Jeff Bezos is the first person to become a trillionaire.”

This COVID fear porn shit has gotten out of control.

I saw a recap of the second presidential debate and something stuck out at me.

Biden claimed that the Obama administration let 38,000 people out of prison like that was a good thing.

Trump bragged about the people he pardoned.

Biden then apologized for the Clinton crime bill.

What the fuck is wrong with the current political zeitgeist?

Do we not remember the 80s and 90s crime wave and crack epidemic?  Homicides peaked in the early 90s at 9.8 per 100,000.  Violent crime in the same era was 758.2 per 100,000.  By 2010 that had dropped to 4.8 and 404.5 respectively, and by last year violent crime was down to 366.7 per 100,000.

Why are politicians apologizing for halving the crime and murder rates?

We have seen in the last year was bail reform, Prop 47, and letting people out of jail for COVID has done to the crime rate.  Homicides in NYC and California have doubled.  Property crime even more so.  It’s the bad old days of the 80s and 90s again in America’s Blue zones.

Is that what America really wants, the 90s crime wave again?

I keep hearing about how the disparity in sentencing between crack and powder cocaine is racist, with the idea of reducing sentences for crack cocaine.

Crack was cheap.  Black politicians wanted harsh punishments for crack dealing to keep it out of the hands of black kids and combat gang crime.  The rise of gang crime in black neighborhoods, the gang War between the Bloods and the Crips was over gang territory for dealing crack in the black community.

On a side note: Now maybe the sentencing disparity was racist but maybe we should have increased penalties for powdered cocaine. Had we thrown those Wall Street investment bros doing coke parties in the 80s and 90s into hard prison, perhaps we could have avoided the sub-prime bullshit and banking scandals of the 2000s when all those coke-head junior associates became senior managing partners.

But I digress…

Crime will expand according to our willingness to put up with it.

Why are politicians jumping over themselves to show how willing they are to put up with crime.

How about promising to protect the middle class?  Protect middle class equity by preventing crime from tanking property values.  Protect middle class business by punishing theft.

It feels like this is a very racist pandering to minorities.

I’m sure black home owners and black businesses owners would be far happier being safe in their neighborhoods with their business not losing money due to shoplifting or loss of business traffic, than they would be at the idea of some crack dealer having his sentence commuted.

Simple things to avoid cases like Walter Wallace’s:

When a call for help is placed to 911, the caller must say if it involves a person with mental health issues so the police does NOT respond.

Then the 911 operator will contact the appropriate county or state Mental Health responders so they can take the call and avoid tragic endings.

If the caller is less than truthful and police arrives to a case of an individual with mental issues, the officers must leave immediately to avoid the use of force (deadly or otherwise) against such person. The officer will immediately notify dispatch of the type of call so Mental Health responders are called to the location.

Neither the officers nor the local PD department will be held liable for not engaging the patient if he becomes or is dangerous to the public.

Whomever calls 911 and lies about the mental health condition of a person so police goes to  the location, should be charged with a felony resulting in a conviction of no less than 5 years in prison. If somebody dies because of the false call, the caller should be charged & tried for murder.

I am not sure how many EDP calls police departments get every day, but not having to respond to them should prove to result in substantial savings in the budget that can be used for better equipment and training, maybe even hiring new personnel.

Just an idea.

It seems Black Lives Matter cannot but base its “fight” on the lives of common criminals and they are doing their hardest to gain political superiority using them as martyrs…and winning

I have no idea how many cases criminals used the Second Amendment to try to avoid a prison sentence and all failed IIRC. It took decades and lots of vetting to finally come up with the Heller and McDonald defendants and still was a crapshot.

And you wonder if you were told lies all your life. Is it Burn, Loot and Murder rather than Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness?

Is it  to “establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty” still valid concepts or are we now in a country where the criminal not only is hailed as hero, but it is backed by the political side and those who were supposed to keeps us informed?

I feel our Country is about to enter the third season of Babylon 5:
