The murder rate in the UK according to US standards is double or higher than their reported rate. It may be impossible to produce an actual apples to apples comparison number from official sources. It is not 15% of the US rate.

  1. Hell I’ve known that for a number of years. It only gets reported as a murder in the official records if it gets a conviction. Otherwise…..*shrug*
    Hell on official Ministry of Justice report on crime statistics they flat out say that the actual rates are higher than reported in the report. In part because many crimes don’t even get reported because the people view the justice system and their cops as about as useful as tits on a bull
