This is from Florida:

If they are going to do it to a fire truck they will do it to an ambulance.

If someone I love is fighting for their life and seconds count and first responders are delayed because of protesters I hope the driver runs them the fuck over.

Arrests after the fact are not good enough.  If you block a fire truck or an ambulance you deserve to taste bumper.

Spread the love

  1. As long as there are no serious consequences, physical and/or financial, these assholes are going to keep doing the same thing.

Floor it and let the good times roll. 😉 These libtards might eventually get the hint that they shouldn’t “play” on the streets. In car vs. squishy human, the human ain’t gonna win.

  2. From the article: “This is an escalation of force against us even though we are peaceful,” said Raheem Fitzgerald, a protester who says he’s marched practically every day.

Fitzgerald says the people who say they are “inconvenienced” aren’t getting the message about racial injustice and police brutality in America.

1 Escalation of force? Physically blocking me from travel isn’t an escalation in the first place?
2 Every day? Doesn’t he have a job? If not, how is it injustice that he gets paid to complain about how unfair it is that people want him to get out of the way so they can go to work?
3 How does keeping people from driving down the street do anything to stop injustice or police brutality?

  3. That “protester” is obviously a paid terrorist, probably an employee of Soros. Or of the Kremlin, basically the same thing.
For fire engines, I would think an effective approach would be to drive up to a few inches from the rioters, then nail the big horn until they leave.
Then again, installing cow catchers might be a good alternative.

So meanwhile, these terrorists were doing this in front of the police department. And they weren’t all yanked off the street and locked up? WTF is wrong with that police department? Issuing meaningless threats that are immediately exposed as just hot air is stupid at best and criminal dereliction of duty at worst.

  4. My buddy drives a fuel truck usualy has 11 THOUSAND gallons of gasoline on board. Hes already told the boss he will drop down a gear and plow through them. I feel the same way. This is where situational awareness comes in. After watching people drive for years I have a theory – how far from the car in front of them they drive is how far ahead they look. When they turn the corner and drive half a block and suddenly find themselves surrounded is cause they lookin 20 feet in front of them. Be alert. Look as far ahead as you can. Carry everyday

    1. Your theory is generally true; people don’t usually watch further ahead in traffic than the car in front of them.

My dad taught me different. He said to watch at least three or four cars ahead, and always be scanning the horizon. Then you’re never surprised, and you don’t have to slam on your brakes if the car in front of you does; you’ll have seen the problem coming before he did and slowed down to make space before he slams his brakes. You avoid both rear-ending him and getting rear-ended by the car behind you (who is probably only watching you and following too close anyway).

I’m teaching my kids the same thing as they’re old enough to learn.

But based on how often I see people slamming their brakes, you’re most definitely not wrong.

    2. Look ahead, scan the shoulders for potential threats (deer, coyotes, elk, small children, intersections, etc.). Scan rear view mirrors every few seconds. Head on a swivel. And so on.

All things I got much better at doing after I learned to ride a motorcycle. It doesn’t matter who has right of way, the motorcyclist loses.

  5. They tried to get Zimmerman on “reckless disregard for human life”.

It’s well-known that fire and EMS vehicles respond to life-threatening emergencies. Blocking them is pretty clearly indicative of a reckless disregard for human life; intentionally doing so, and not getting out of the way, is indicative of actual malice.

If anyone dies because fire and EMS crews were blocked by “protesters” and couldn’t respond in time, every one of those “protesters” is guilty of 2nd Degree Manslaughter.

And I second what pkoning said: Why the hell have police not made the arrests they threatened to make? Empty threats are about the worst thing you could do. Now they know, because the police told them, that they’re allowed to block streets with zero consequences.

  6. Don’t underestimate the power of autopilot either. Driving is done so much by soany of us that it effectively requires 0 brain power and minimal concentration to do “safely”. I’m sure many people also autopilot their way into dangerous situations without realizing it. It really goes hand in hand with the looking far enough ahead thing which is alertness in general.

We’ve all had them where we are driving and go holy shit I have absolutely no memory of what transpired in any detail over the past 2 minutes except I know I traveled A to B in that time in my car.

Riding a motorcycle definitely can help to improve that since everyone is now trying to kill you instead of just get into an accident with you.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
