From Bob G.

I found this easy stress management technique in November issue of The Journal of Clinical Psychology. The simple protocol worked wonders for me. I thought I’d pass it along to you.

1. Picture yourself lying prone on a warm rock that hangs just above a deep stream.

2. Your hands dangle in the cool running water.

3. Birds chirp sweetly in the cool mountain air.

4. No one knows your secret place.

5. You are in total seclusion from that hectic place called the world.

6. The water is so clear that you can make out the face of the politician you are holding underwater. See? it worked. You’re smiling. You feel better already.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. Two notations; the place to envisage is The World. That other place is merely civilization.

It didn’t work for me, I don’t have nearly enough hands.

  2. While the image is comforting here in VA we are still stuck with a guy running for governor that has never held office in this state. The DNC is so cocky that they thought they could hand terry the state of VA as a trophy for being the best fund raiser. Now bloomburg has moved in to buy him the job. STRESSSSSS.
