The possibility that Red Flag bill is dead before conception and some are actually thinking on advancing gun rights is making the Opposition a bit unnerved.

Weeks after calling for a special session, there is still no clear date on when it will happen. However, if it does, and if allowed, one senator announced plans to introduce a bill to arm the teachers to the floor.

In a statement from State Sen. Paul Bailey (R-Sparta), he wrote:

“The option to pursue this path could be especially useful in rural districts which don’t have the resources to heavily invest in school security. It could also deter potential school shooters if they know multiple people in the building might be armed.”

And this cute little infant of a teen still has not figured out adulthood means to expect and prepare for the worse because wishful thinking is not a sound life strategy.

“I constantly have to ask the question, ‘Is this a day that a maniac with a gun comes into our schools? Is this a day? Is this our last day?’ We’re asking that within institutions that are supposed to protect us, sort of supposed to build us up,” said Seamus Purdy with the Tennessee Student Union.

We fight for our right to be victims!

Fine, be a victim. but you do not get to force victimhood on others.

  1. Children have not had to suffer the consequences of enough bad decisions. The path to adulthood is making mistakes and dealing with the outcomes.

Seamus is a child. Still thinking that everyone is going to obey signs and the law if such a law is just written well enough. Cute really…

It is not cute when politicians adopt that very childlike response, and people end up dead.

  2. I have a different take on why these children or any children, display this mindset. Someone they look up to or are influenced by, has brainwashed them into mindless emotional virtue signaling actors, who have no ability to really understand anything other than their emotions. They have no idea they are pawns in a sick, immoral game, but believe they actually have power….because their influencers told them they have power. They know they’ll be praised for “making a difference’ and that is all that really matters. Trained animals have a greater capacity to think than a brainwashed ‘Morally Elite” child.

    1. They’re in the “student union” that supposedly covers an entire state. They’re most likely marginally brighter-than-average students who lack any athletic skill and can’t get along with any real people well enough to get into a non-athletic extra curricular. So they joined something recommended to them by a far-left teacher and mouth the required BS so it looks like they didn’t just smoke pot through their high school years.

      1. And, their ambition is to work in government, so they can make a difference, make a better world, because the people need their guidance.

  3. Whenever they have students, staff, or faculty interviewed about things like this I want to lurk in the background and wait my turn. “Staff members say they dont want guns. Here lets ask this large bearded fellow.”

Do those kids not wear seatbelts to avoid car wrecks or have remove their smoke alarms to prevent fires?
