At some point I hope people will start to ask the question (to which we all know the answer) “why are you saying this now rather than 8 months ago?” That question would be directed at the NYT and its fellow travelers, and also at the NY legislators who have just decided to start making noise.
In the case of the legislators, why now? I can think of three answers. (1) they really are that stupid. (2) they consider anti-Trump more important than the lives of their constituents. (3) they only just now got permission from their bosses.
Of course they put Trump-hate over the lives of regular people.
My only hope is that when enough people figure this out there is a run on killdozers.
This will turn out like most of the classic FBI investigations of southern civil rights abuses during the Jim Crow era, and go full Sgt. Shultz.
So sad. I would be embarrassed to be an FBI agent these days.
