I’m astonished that both talking heads are terrified by this blade being in the same room with them. It reminds me of anti-gun people in the US freaking out over seeing a gun much less actually firing one. Also like my fellow GFZ readers I dismiss this as a crappy Machete and I have a better cheaper one in the garage.

Heh. Mrs B. does a fair bit of crafting, and uses one of those neoprene gun cleaning mats as a work surface. Specifically, one with a “bullet board” style graphic on it – outlines of various cartridges in 1:1 scale. She calls it her filter, and has a funny story about one person who saw it, shrieked, and jumped back a couple of feet. Not from seeing a gun, not even a picture of a gun … not even a picture of ammo, really. More of a suggestion.
