General John Sedgwick was the highest ranking Union casualty in the Civil War. He was killed by a sniper at the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House in 1864. His troops were flinching and hiding at the noise of incoming fire so he is quoted to say “I’m ashamed of you, dodging that way. They couldn’t hit an elephant at this distance.” Just seconds later he was proven wrong with a bullet hole below his left eye.
It`s kinda like obama and co. throwing all this crap against the wall and licking-off all that sticks. 🙁
I almost feel bad for laughing so hard at that.
Maybe, if his troops had been returning fire, he wouldn’t have been hit.
If you are being shot at, return fire!
Rather difficult to return fire to a sniper you cant see, who is 1000 yards away.
