And now I have a Zazzle Store

GunFreeZone Zazzle Store!
Actually I had it for a little while with only three items, but i just expanded to everything that Zazzle offers. It is a picture of my dear wife at the range with two captions:

You Wish You Could Shoot Like A Girl

Boys Can’t Shoot and Smell Funny.

The product is intended for female shooters because I believe they will take over the world and I might as well be on their good side! All monies collected go to buy her next gun, keep her supplied with ammo and sending her to her next class.

Question for the ACLU.

If they are upset about the Wisconsin government disenfranchising people by demanding they produce photo ID to vote, Does that mean that they are also upset that the Federal Government demands photo ID (among many other constitutional infringing demands) when a citizen wants to buy a gun?

Just asking….

Should I grab a chair and wait comfortably for a response?

Brady Campaign: Troubles separating reality from fiction.

The Bradys are all full of glee.

Only one bee wee problem: It is not a letter from Members of the House but a mock piece written by Herald’s columnist Carl Hiaasen.

I don’t remember who said that since the Bradys are in such dire monetary straits, their Social networking duties have been taken over by a 16 year old intern. It appears to be the truth but I suspect she graduated from MySpace Summa Cum Laude which makes her perfect for the job and for me to get material for my blog.

Keep at it!

Safe AK Safety Use.

We AK shooters have the tendency to manipulate our rifle with a bit less than safe and it is due to the annoyingly hard to operate safety lever.

As usual we tend to gunsmith a problem instead of solving it with proper training.

Adding a knob to help with leverage was the first thing done till somebody came up with an improved safety lever.
Still it takes a lot of index finger power to release the safety and basically the whole hand to re-engage it. But in this short video, Travis Haley shows us that a bit of practice is all we need to safely engage and dis engage the AK Safety Lever.

Never solve with gunsmithing what can be achieved with training.

Gun Free Gas Stations?

I realize that whenever a state passes Shall Issue Carry, the Demented Ones slip off the straight jackets and start proposing idiotic laws. But I have to say this one is a new record in foolishness.

Bill would ban guns from gas stations.

There’s no doubt that around parts of Milwaukee, plenty of shootings and armed robberies occcur at gas stations. Zepnick’s bill would essentially treat stations like some of the other places even CCW permit holders would have to disarm, like courthouses, prisons and schools. But it would also allow the usual exceptions for police, corrections officers, miltary personnel and private security guards who are on duty.
But going armed at a station would be a felony punishable by up to 18 months in prison.

They hate the Shall Issue thing in Wisconsin, don’t they? Have no doubt that the law is aimed at CCW Permit Holders.

We are supposed to believe that a criminal that is about to commit armed robbery (Class C felony) on a gas station and can face up to 40 years in jail, will somehow change his mind because he can actually serve 18 months for taking a gun into the newfangled Gun Free Zone Gas Station.

Cheesehead please!
