To Slap or not to Slap… (Volume warning!)
This was a discussion in Facebook:
And here is the video of the incident. Apologies for the auto-start, I could not figure out how to kill it.
This was my response to the OP.
And an important lesson was taught: There is a fraction of people who hold the belief they can get away with inflicting violence upon other because they confuse manners & politeness with weakness. They see the lack of response as cowardice rather than self-control.
The slap was simple a reminder that actions have painful consequences and that nobody is granted full immunity on being assholes to their fellow man.
Do I recommend the slapping as appropriate answer? Nope, but I won’t come down on the young man either. And maybe other “women” will see this video and decide to change argument tactics to something less aggressive and perhaps more constructive.
While Florida GOP Senators cower to a traitor..
In California a powerful committee head gets removed for voting against the party.
Nearly two weeks after breaking with fellow Democrats to vote against a bill raising California fuel taxes, Assemblyman Rudy Salas of Bakersfield has lost the chairmanship of a prime legislative committee. On Monday, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon announced that he had removed Salas from his position heading the politically lucrative Assembly Business and Professions Committee, which handles consumer regulations, occupational licensing and product labeling bills.
So basically we have a GOP without both cojones and spines to remove Senator Anitere Flores (R-Moms Demand) from Florida’s Judiciary committee. Senate President Joe Negron simply allowed her to run roughshod all over everybody and could not care less.

They have about 20 days before the end of the session to pull several rabbits out of the hat, but I would settle for one miserable testicle and vertebrae as in saying “Hey yes! We have some!”
But I doubt it. I am even wondering if the SYG correction bill will make it to the floor.
Venezuela’s Maduro displays his Volkssturm.
During the last days of WWII, the Nazis were so depleted of personnel they had to resort to create an “army” called Volkssturm and composed of the very young and the very old to defend Berlin.
In Venezuela, President Maduro put on display its Milicianos which is his version of the Volkssturm armed with some interesting choice of rifles:
And even though we may laugh at them, they are powerful simply because they have gun which the majority of Venezuelans (willingly) do not have. So you can laugh at grandpa carrying a rifle probably built 40 years before he was born, but if he can pull the trigger and kill your ass, the Revolution will be defended.
On Berkeley and the Middle East
After reading about as much about the weekend Battle of Berkeley as ibc an stand, I came to this conclusion.
I feel exactly the same way about Antifa and the Alt-Right as I do about Sunnies and Shiites.
I don’t really care if they are violent with each other as long as they do it far away from me. Let them war over ideology until the very last pair of them die choking each other to death.
Let that be their legacy.
Fake News Editorial by the Palm Beach Post.
Even more disturbing, a new report showing the number of road rage incidents involving guns is on the rise highlighted Florida as having the most in the country over a two-year period, with 146 incidents. The report released April 11 by The Trace, an independent nonprofit news organization that covers gun issues,

Next they will be demanding that ISIS be allowed tax exemption as religious organization and NAMBLA be allowed to have a Child Care Facility license in Florida.
CNN and The Trace: Dumb and Dumber. (Fake News)
I have Not paying too much attention to the Gun Control Groups lately, but this one popped out in my Facebook timeline and got me scratching my head…a lot.
OK, I know that there are 10-shot Revolvers chambered in .22 LR by several makers, but struck me as odd the selection of calibers. Then again it is California and it is not like they have a lot in the way of supply. I did a bit more research on the specific gun used, and I found this sentence in an article in CNN:
Say what? 10 rounds of .357 Magnum in a revolver? Knowing that I am not the greatest authority in revolvers, I checked with Smith And Wesson’s gun search engine and I found that the top number is eight. Other brands were checked and again the biggest capacity came at eight for the .357 Magnum caliber.
So, CNN again bullshit on an article and The Trace serves as sounding board for the Fake News… Oh wait, I forgot that Fake News is as bad or even worse than an ethnic insult:
Oh hell, It is Fake News. Who are they kidding?
