Do I know my enemies or what?

It was just this morning when I posted that if I were a suspicious man, I’d bet that the funding from the buses and the black SUVs to take the Parkland Propaganda Kids to Tallahassee came from out dear Pimp for Moms Demand, Michael Bloomberg.

I just caught this bit of info via Bearing Arms.

A leading gun control group announced on Saturday that it is forming a new group aimed at high school and college students.
Everytown for Gun Safety, a group funded in part by former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, said it had created a new initiative called Students Demand Action in a Facebook post over the weekend. “NEW!” the post said. “High school and college students across the country are teaming up with Moms Demand Action and Everytown for Gun Safety to launch #StudentsDemandAction, an initiative that gives students the opportunity to lead the charge against gun violence.”

Bloomberg-Funded Group Announces New Student Gun Control Group in Wake of Parkland Shooting.

Best way to predict future behavior is to check past behavior. Bet your ass we will see some useless gathering of teens at Dallas during the NRA AM, but the media will make it look like a Crusade.

Then I seem to recall a Children’s Crusade that did not end well either.

And my apologies to Joe Miller. He got the info in the comments and I missed it.

Nikolas Cruz: Goverment-Protected thug.

I had to read it three times before I could believe it was printed.

At times, Nikolas Cruz’s behavior could be a school administrator’s nightmare: Teachers and other students said he kicked doors, cursed at teachers, fought with and threatened classmates and brought a backpack with bullets to school. He collected a string of discipline for profanity, disobedience, insubordination, and disruption.

Parkland shooter always in trouble, never expelled. Could school system have done more

Let me see if I get this right: Cruz brought bullets to class and nothing happened to him. A kid in Maryland makes a pop-tart look like a gun and the school and he gets suspended and the suspension ratified by a judge.

But wait, there is more:

Records show the behaviors continued at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, which he attended in 2016 and 2017 before being transferred, with discipline being dispensed for fighting, profanity, and an “assault.” It appears the Jan. 19, 2017 assault resulted in a referral for a “threat assessment.

You go on and read the article and find out that the Broward School System really did not want to take the hard decisions and bounced the kid around, basically rewarding his behavior. I do understand why parents are choosing home schooling, I would not want my kids in a class with a government-protected killer.

Florida Schools are now officially part of the Florida Man Network.

When I pictute jack boots kicking in doors, beating patents in front of their children, I think about Kristallnacht and the atrocities of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.

It is for precisely that reason I own guns, and AR pattern rifles specificly.

Never again.  Not with a hash tag but a bullet.

When I think about that scenario, I’m fighting off the jack boot thugs.

When Tim Wise fantasies about that scenario, he’s wearing the swastika and jack boots.

He was supposedly raised Jewish, but it’s clear he’s now with the Progressives Church of Statism.

The more anti gun he gets, the more he proves to me why I need the Second Amendment.

Israel proves the NRA’s arguments

Via Bearing Arms.. and it is a doozy.

In reality, Israel’s gun policy is living proof of the arguments the American gun lobby has been making for years.

…Enter Israel: When the knife intifada erupted in September 2015, the Israeli government’s response was to ease the process for the civilian populace to obtain weapons. After a particularly bloody Jerusalem shooting attack that killed four, then-Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan drastically changed the gun laws in order to significantly raise the number of armed civilians on the streets. Instantly, graduates of Special Forces units and IDF officers with the rank of Lieutenant and above were permitted to purchase guns at their will, security guards were allowed to bring their guns home after work, and the minimum age for a license was reduced from 21 to 18…

….In addition, the overwhelming majority of terror attacks in Israel are stopped by armed civilians, not law enforcement. For example, the terrorists in the 2016 Sarona market attack were stopped by armed passersby. A pistol-carrying tour guide put an end to the 2017 ramming attack in Arnona that left four soldiers dead.
In Israeli eyes, guns are a valuable deterrent against terrorism.

In fact, terrorists have told the Shin Bet internal security service that they often target haredi Jews due to the high likelihood that they are unarmed.

In Israel proves the NRA’s arguments..

Not long ago in Twitter, I had a “gunsense” guy who had the misfortune to ask how come there are no school shootings in Israel and then he refused to accept that the Israelis armed teachers and had soldiers and armed people protecting schools.

I am amazed that they do not know that the reason school teacher are packing is because the Palestinians in the 70s were attacking schools and school buses. After the teachers began packing and the terrorists started to fail, they left the schools alone and went on with car bombs and explosive vests. Schools had become a hard target with no political brownie points available for the Press.

Apparently the Left has ignored those lessons, or maybe they know about it, but since they are Pro-Palestinian… you do the math.

BREAKING: Sarasota County Sheriff to use retired military, LEOs in school security program

At the risk of having Lee Williams kick my butt, I am copy/pasting the whole article:

In a press release, Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight just announced plans to use retired law enforcement officers and military veterans in his new “quasi-school security program.”

“We have been looking at opportunities over the last two years to help school officials develop a practical and achievable safety plan for the district,” Sheriff Knight said in the release. “My recommendation is for the school to consider implementing a quasi-school security program that puts retired law enforcement and military veterans on Sarasota County campuses. Members would be contracted through the schools however, our agency will be made available to put them through the proper training. I have spoken with the superintendent who agrees this can be a win-win for everyone.”

In my humble opinion, this is a great move by the sheriff and the school district.

A column I published just this morning recommended protecting our schools with our highly trained veterans.

“This is not an overnight solution but it’s a good place to start,” said Sheriff Knight. “Many of these veterans have basic training, have managed major incidents and have knowledge of weaponry and tactics. More often than not, these retirees are looking for a way to care for the children in their community and this program is a sustainable solution. What is needed to get this off the ground is legislative change to F.S.S. 790 dealing with concealed weapons on school campuses. If our lawmakers are willing to make the proper changes for the safety of Florida students, I will support their decision and stand ready to take action.”

This, friends, is a great move.

And I have to agree: It is concise and is directed to the issue: Schools are Soft Targets and need to be hardened.

Dear Broward County Parents under the care of the BSO. Rest assured that Sheriff Scott Israel will NOT implement a program like this in the near of far future. Your kids are more valuable as political tool if dead.
