An extra shot of Starbucks: When the sharks smell blood…
… they come for the killing.
I don’t patronize Starbucks. My consumption of coffee is directly related to caffeine intake and not decorative sprinkles and fake milk added to overpriced burnt coffee. I live in Miami so if I want something to pep me up, I go to the window of a cafeteria and for a buck and a half I purchase enough caffeine to kept a squad wake for 48 hours.
I make that explanation because I was unaware that you could get refills of your brew. What you are about to see is one customer demanding a refill on a video that is clearly a set up. I am dreary suspicious of these outrage videos popping all over YouTube, but this one is great: The guy admits that he bought the coffee at 4 am, many hours before this happening and still demands his refill.
Starbuck’s policy is clear regarding refills:
Once you leave the store, your visit has ended and any subsequent coffee or tea refill thereafter would be considered a new purchase. Refills are not available in the Drive Thru
This harassment to Starbucks employees is the fault of a politically weak corporate office. You can almost see the face of the complainer sport a hint of douchebaggery as he is trying to tell us “I am just trying to fuck with these people and get free shit. Do you like my fancy and expensive sunglasses?”
Starbucks is gonna be assaulted by tens of thousands of assholes trying to score free stuff or 30 seconds of fame in YouTube. How much their bottom line is gonna be affected by this? No idea, but the brand will continue to get hit for a while. Stupid can be unforgiving.
By the way, dear douchebags, do not try to pull this stunt on a Cuban cafeteria. Being chased down the street by a pissed off Cubana sporting a machete is great in the adrenalin but sucks for your health overall.
Seriously people, get a Keurig, get a Nespresso, learn to make your own coffee, save money and an assault on your common sense and olfactory system.
2018 and 2020 are going to be rough
The Santa Fe, Texas, high school shooting set off another round antics by the celebrities and politicians on the Left who feel the best thing to do after a situation like this is the collective punishment of everyone who was not involved.
The shooter in Santa Fe sent up red flags, but not as many and different kinds.
He went from a church going honor student to wearing a trench coat with extreme political pins all the time. He was reportedly bulled by students and a coach. He studied previous mass shooters. He wasn’t in trouble like Nikolas Cruz, but these kinds of behaviors should have tipped people off in a post Columbine America.
School security was also lacking with the school having multiple uncontrolled access points. For pointing this out, the Sheriff was mocked and criticized by the media.

Apparently it’s a better and easier option to ban guns from law abiding citizens than improve security to a building.
Senator Chris Murphy, who is being groomed for a presidential run, decided to give his opinion on how the Bill of Rights actually gives the government the power to deny civil liberties.
I support the real 2nd Amendment, not the imaginary 2nd Amendment.
And the real #2A isn’t absolute. It allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban these assault rifles that are designed for one purpose only – to kill as many people as fast as possible.

To a thinking person, this would seem to fly in the face of Heller, but several lower courts in Blue country have upheld AWBs a constitutional.
Keep in mind that the Santa Fe shooter took a .38 cal revolver and pump action shotgun, like the kinds these politicians promise never to ban, from his dad who legally purchased them. So what a universal background check or AWB would have done here is … fuck all nothing.
My hope is that the conservative members of SCOTUS are waiting for Ruth Bader Ginsburg to die or become incapacitated and then will take up a 2A case, with the deck firmly stacked in their favor, and declare both CCW and assault weapons 2A protected and go all Obergefell mandating shall issue CCW reciprocity and an end to AWBs.
A man can dream.
Jimmy Kimmel came and just shilled for the Democrats and Everytown rather than tell jokes. He’s crossed the Rubicon from entertainer to late night political activist.

The media has so saturated the news with these events that they have convinced kids that the unlikely is inevitable.
The reporter, Foti Kallergis, found himself interviewing a seventeen-year-old girl named Paige Curry, who had been in a classroom three doors down from the shooting when it began. Concentrating on the memory, her chin tucked in, Curry recalled for the camera the experience of taking shelter with her theatre class, of waiting for the swat team while people around her freaked out, of feeling herself steady amid vulnerability and chaos. The reporter asked, “Was there a part of you that thought this isn’t real, this wouldn’t happen in my school?”
“No, there wasn’t,” she said, lifting her chin to look at Kallergis. The reporter asked her why she thought that. “It’s been happening everywhere. I’ve always kind of felt like eventually it was going to happen here, too.”
I bet she texts and drives though. That is because the media sends out stories like this horse shit.
2018 has been deadlier for schoolchildren than service members
Except that we are out of Iraq and Afghanistan in terms of major combat operations.
Even in the article itself, was forced to admit that the statistics were not on its side.
The figures for 2018 do not suggest schools are more dangerous than combat zones. After all, there are more than 50 million students in public elementary and high schools and only about 1.3 million members of the armed forces. So far in 2018, a member of the military has been about 40 times as likely to be killed as someone is to die in a school shooting, including Keller’s revised figures.
But that’s halfway through the article and a person only needs to read the headline to get their daily dose of ignorant rage.
We are going into 2018 and 2020 with a Democrat platform of “we hate Trump and we’re going to take your guns away because of it.”
I have a feeling that is not going to end as well for them as they’d like. Then they will double down.
This shit is going to get rougher and rougher until it breaks. I don’t know when that will happen or what it will look like but I promise you it won’t be good.
The dumb is strong in PA
George Scott is running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 10th district.
PA-10 is a relatively newly shaped district, after the state Supreme Court had to redraw it.
It is located in Northern PA. Here is a map of it’s location.
To give you some idea, Carbondale is one of the largest cities in the district, and that barely has 10,000 people in it. Sullivan county is in the district and is the second least populated county in the state with only little more than 6,000 people.
It is farm country. This is Pennsylvania Appalachia. This is Trump country. Lycoming county went 70% for Trump in 2016.
So this is the ad that George Scott went with:
First of all, another fucking veteran who thinks his term of service means he has the right to strip us of our gun rights at home.
Second, did he really train on rifles like the Smith & Wesson M&P-22?
Yeah, that’s a 22. Don’t bullshit me old man.
Either he’s a damn liar, known nothing about guns, or didn’t want to burn a rifle that was worth more than a couple of hundred bucks.
Show me a farmer that burns his rifle and I’ll show you a man who isn’t a farmer.
The only disappointing thing here is that he didn’t make an illegal SBR to demonstrate is virtuous ignorance.
I wonder if burning that much plastic violates a state or federal environmental regulation on burning household waste?
This ad might get him credit if he were running in PA-2nd where Philly is. I have a feeling this will go over about a well as fart in church.
Given the fact that Scott is a pastor, that might be his next “in touch with his district” political ad.
Porn Starlet Virtue Signaling
Mia Khalifa a former Porn star, went full Virtue Signaling with what looks to be a plain jane Remington 870 or similar.
But wait, that is not all! She donated the price of the shotgun to Everytown!
And she shares the screen capture of her donation:
So she basically surrendered an under $500 shotgun (at most expensive) and donated three times its value to Everytown just to be relevant online.
Bukkake makes you stupid, I guess.
She felt the need to say this?
From Senator Elizabeth Warren
@SenWarren is the FIRST U.S. Senator to take the #NoNRAMoney pledge

Good for her.
In the spirit of her pledge, I pledge never to have a three-way with Scarlett Johansson and Emma Watson in the hot tub of my Lürssen mega-yacht.
I just hope I can resist two of the most beautiful women in Hollywood throwing themselves at me as hard at the NRA tries to throw money her.
Starbucks, Tim Hortons, and S*it hitting the fan
Starbucks has announced that it is going to become a public restroom.
Starbucks tells employees in a letter that everyone is “considered a customer” https://t.co/NnSwMLYct0
— The Wall Street Journal (@WSJ) May 19, 2018
Yep, you read that right.
On Saturday, the company told its employees in a letter that “any person who enters our spaces, including patios, cafes and restrooms, regardless of whether they make a purchase, is considered a customer.”
I’m not sure how long Starbucks will survive if management doesn’t understand basic things, like the definition of customer.
According to Merriam-Webster a customer is:
1: one that purchases a commodity or service.
Besides bathrooms, table space, Wi-Fi, and air condition or heat, what else will Starbucks give away to non-paying customers?
If you go across the border into Canada, you would find a chain of coffee and donut stores called Tim Hortons.
Tim Hortons didn’t get the message from Starbucks that restrooms are for anybody who walks in off the street and not just paying customers.
A Tim Hortons employee denied a restroom to a non-customer.
Woe be unto that employee. The woman proceeded to relieve herself onto the floor and then throw her physical manifestation of a progressive opinion at the employee.
Roll the security footage (you have been warned):
At least she had the forethought to get a handful of napkins first for cleanup.
In a civil society, you’d think that we could come to a consensus on the ideas that a business should cater to those who patron it and pay its bills, and that is is wrong to throw your shit at someone.
You’d be wrong.
We Finally Know Why the Angry Tim Hortons Pooper Pooped
For the love of God, just let people use your bathroom.
The clip shows the woman screaming at Tim Hortons workers before furiously untying the sleeves of a sweater around her waist, unbuckling her pants, leaning up against the back of a booth and, well, pooping on the floor. She then grabbed some napkins, picked up her log and whipped it at the employee behind the counter. Not yet done, she grabbed more napkins to wipe her ass, and, like her turd, whipped them at the employees as well.
Social media has been abuzz with this obviously weird incident, leaving everyone with one simple question: Why?
Well, we finally have an answer. Turns out that the Timmies employees wouldn’t let her use the bathroom and she really, really had to go (which probably explains why she was able to poop so quickly). Tim Hortons’ restroom policy is that anyone can use it—you don’t have to be a customer—but that, in some franchises, employees have to give you a key or buzz you into the bathroom at their discretion.
On Thursday, Tim Hortons responded to the video which has been seen and lampooned widely in Canada and beyond. In a statement, the fast-food chain said that they didn’t let the woman use the bathroom because of “past behavior and out of concern for the immediate safety of team members and guests in the restaurant.”
“We are deeply concerned by this video as the safety of our team members and guests is always a top priority for us,” reads the statement. “In limited cases across the country, restaurants have a restricted access policy for restrooms to ensure the well-being of guests.”
It seems that the discretion of this employee was well warranted. Anybody who will throw shit at you is not someone you want using your bathroom.
Still, the opinion of Vice is “let anyone who wants to use your bathroom.”
Next we have The [Toronto] Star.
We should have empathy — at least a little — for the Tim Hortons poop-flinger
Nope. No we shouldn’t.
It’s one of those things that generally goes without saying: there’s never a situation where it’s appropriate to drop your pants in public, take a dump on the floor, and then pick your feces up and throw it at other people.
I agree, but this is in direct contradiction to the tile of the piece.
I’m no contrarian on this. Do not poop on the floor. No matter where you poop, don’t fling it at people. Please.
But you are about to justify it.
Yet, reading a report that the events leading up to the video footage began when, according to Newsweek, the woman was told she could not use the public washroom, a further emotion does occur. Not sympathy, exactly, and certainly not justification. But a tiny bit of empathy for the underlying frustration that might have led this particular person into an inexcusable meltdown.
Who among us has not faced a washroom emergency and been told by someone that we cannot use the perfectly good one a few feet away? “This washroom for customers only.” It’s a sign — or a statement made by staff to your pleading, desperate face — that indicates an ice-cold indifference towards fellow human beings.
So when a business tries to keep its bathrooms clean for paying customers it’s okay to throw shit at some minimum wage donut guy?
No business open to the public, and hoping to do business with the public, should have a policy like that. It forces indignity upon paying customers, insults and alienates potential customers, and displays zero empathy with those desperate souls in danger of soiling themselves who cannot become customers because they don’t have any money on them.
This is the most social justice paragraph I have ever read. It is literally “Bathrooms/tables/etc. are for paying customers only that keeps a business from turning into a homeless shelter.”
There are plenty of public restrooms. People don’t like to go in them because they are gross. People prefer bathrooms in businesses because they are kept cleaner. They are kept cleaner by employees of the business who are paid by the business from customer money.
Look at one Starbucks in New York by the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Wall, a community affairs officer with the Midtown South Precinct — whose job is advising businesses on crime reduction — said he and colleagues repeatedly told managers at the branch at Eighth Avenue and West 39th Street to stop giving away food.
They said it was attracting emotionally disturbed individuals who urinated on cafe seats, got high in a second-floor seating area and assaulted patrons.
In fact, cops were called to that Starbucks for such disturbances 80 times in 2017, the suit alleges.
So the Starbucks gave free food to the homeless who moved and pissed on the seats.
Then it got worse.
But the coffeehouse, not far from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, ignored the warning and that same cop wound up being assaulted by a vagrant — who was angry over the quality of his free croissant, the officer charges in a lawsuit.
“I warned that someone would end up getting hurt — it was an unsafe environment. It turned out to be me,” Sgt. Timothy Wall told The Post.
So one homeless man got angry that his free pastry, that would cost you or I $2.45, was not up to his liking and started a ruckus. The police were called and a cop was beaten.
This is just dangerous.
Forget taking my family into a place where there might be shit everywhere. I am defiantly not taking my family into a place where they might be attacked by a deranged vagrant.
The anti-business mentality of the left, including its own management, can’t seem to fathom this.
I will spell it out for them. If I’m going to buy a $5 mocha, I am not going to do it in a place where I can’t sit down because a vagrant has pissed on the seats and can’t wash my hands because there a vagrant is sponge bathing himself with the napkins in the restroom sink (I’ve seen that).
I’ll go somewhere else or just make myself a Nespresso at home.
Starbucks is nailing the lid down on its coffin.
I just want to know what Tim Hortons will do when it say “We see you Starbucks, not hold my terrible lite beer.”
