Magnum P.I. remake? Pass.

I tried to like it. I understand it is for a new generation of Millennials, things are different and forced myself to “give it a shot.” I even went for the Lady Higgins, specially because she has the Dobermanns and seems to embody the old Higgins.

But this?

They destroyed Robin 1.

You do not destroy Robin 1 as it is iconic, it was very much a part of the original show’s identity. They just decided to go ahead and piss on the old series.

Pass.

Humanizing MS-13 as part of the Trump Derangement Syndrome. (Graphic Content)

There is another Fake Media screw up in progress about purposely selecting a quote from President Trump about the MS-13 gang members and applying it to all illegal immigrants.  Of course, it could not last long and the emergency correction and excuse brigade had to come out to save the Narrative.

Just because they have a similar genetic mark up as decent law-abiding citizens, it does not make them innocent, naïve and misunderstood by society. MS-14 is a barbaric gang that will stop and stoop down to nothing to get what they want. The might be “humans” but there is nothing humane about them.

The problem is that US Media likes to sanitize their output as not to offend delicate sensitivities. I am not them and I enjoy offending delicate sensitivities for educational purposes.

14 dead during a soccer game in El Salvador. Maras fighting each other.

Forensic pathologist recover 8 bodies. victims of MS-13. They think they will find up to 15 bodies.

Announcing the arrest of a MS-13 “beast” who murdered 4 and wounded 3 in Mexico.

Seven dead (one of them an 8 year-old boy) and 12 wounded when MS-13 attempts to rescue a member from a hospital in Guatemala. Watch the video and look at the panicked faces of the hospital personnel.

Same hospital attack. The bodies of a Corrections’ officer and a civilian bystander killed by MS-13.

MS-13 attack shoots one  bus and kills one man and two kids. In order to escape from authorities, they stopped another bus, poured gasoline on it and set it on fire: 15 people burned to death.

According to the source, these individuals crossed the local MS-13 gang.

And a “touching” and “humane” picture of MS-13 daddy having a bonding moment with his kid.

Now the bad news: MS-13 is already well entrenched in the US. So far they have been smart and only attack Illegal Immigrants who will not go to the authorities. And since they are somewhat “tidy” when they can and bury bodies, we cannot be sure how many murders have occurred.

But let’s make sure we give them a warm hug and buy them kombucha when they come calling.

MSNBC supports rape culture

CNN quoted President Donald Trump in a statement he made about MS-13.

Andrea Mitchell of MSNBC is so afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome that she has situational deafness and only heard what confirmed her prejudice.

Here is the problem.

MS-13 is evil.  The motto of the gang is is “mata, viola, controla” which translates as “kill, rape, control.”

Part of the problem is El Salvador’s horrifying culture of gang rape.”

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador — In a country terrorized by gangsters, it is left to the dead to break the silence on sexual violence.

Rather, to the bodies of dead women and girls pulled from clandestine graves. Raped, battered and sometimes cut to pieces, they attest to the sadistic abuse committed by members of street gangs.

Wanton violence along with rape is part of MS-13’s signature.

Criminologist Israel Ticas, who digs up clandestine graves for the Attorney General’s Office, says more than half of the 90 sites he has excavated in the last 12 years have contained the remains of murdered women and girls. “For sure there are hundreds of these cases and maybe thousands out there,” Ticas said.

His field notes, augmented by interviews with protected witnesses, provide a window into the underworld of abuse. He randomly selects a case from one of his journals:

“7 June 2013 in Santa Tecla, the girlfriend of a gang member recruited two friends to go to a party. The gangsters suspected that one of the girls betrayed them, talking to a rival gang. Eight men raped the girls. First two were killed with multiple knife wounds. The third was held for 24 hours while they asked for ransom, but when they couldn’t get the money they killed her, too. The three were dismembered. They were 12, 13 and 14 years old.”

MS-13 uses rape and dismemberment as terror tactics to expand their influence.

“Its weapon of choice is the machete.”

In September 2016, the murders of two teenage girls brought the horror of that violence to national attention.

Kayla Cuevas and her best friend, Nisa Mickens, were killed as they walked home on a residential street.

Nisa’s mother, Elizabeth Alvarado, described in brief but harrowing detail that her basketball-loving daughter was stabbed in the back with a machete.

The more graphic the violence the better.

MS-13 gang beheads, dismembers man in Maryland park; teen charged with murder

A teen has been charged with first-degree murder Wednesday in connection an MS-13 gang-related killing of a man who was lured to a Maryland park, choked, stabbed 100 times, decapitated and dismembered, according to police and multiple news reports.

The victim, who was lured to Wheaton Regional Park in Montgomery County, has not been identified, although police said they suspect he may be from Annapolis.

Montgomery County police said the victim’s body was located in a grave at the park, at 11715 Orebaugh Ave., on Sept. 5.

An informant told police that as many as 10 MS-13 gang members “ripped his heart from his chest and threw it into the grave they dug for him,” NBC 4 reported.

MS-13 members prefer their victims young.

El Salvador’s Gangs Are Targeting Young Girls

The gang uses rape, especially gang rape, as well as murder to initiate young men into the gang.

The petite young woman was a 16-year-old Laurel High School student three years ago when she decided to skip classes one day to join two other girls at a party at a Hyattsville apartment.

At the party, she said, Oscar Ramos “Casper” Velasquez took her into a bedroom, where he kissed her and told her that if she didn’t have sex with him, as many as 15 other teenagers and young men at the gathering would have sex with her.

When she resisted, two more young men entered the room, the woman told jurors yesterday in federal court. One man threw her on the bed and choked her, the other held down her arms and “Oscar pulled out a gun,” she testified.

“He put it to my head, and he said if I didn’t shut up, he was going to kill me,” the woman told jurors.

Eight men raped her, the 19-year-old woman said. Two assaulted her simultaneously. Outside the room, she said, she heard one man say, “Five minutes each.”‘

MS-13 is known for extreme violence towards innocent people.

Stabbing others became something very normal for me. So did shaking people down. At the beginning I felt bad but then I got comfortable with my emotions.

We knew when people who worked in the vineyards or farms would get their paychecks and we went after their cash. They usually got paid on a Friday, and I got really good at sticking a knife in their back or pointing a gun if they were in their car at a stop sign.

If there was a party going on somewhere, we would crash it. We would bring our machetes, sometimes guns and take everyone’s money. It was always about getting the money. But we’d also take their food, their drinks. And if anyone ever looked at us the wrong way, we’d beat them up.

If people owed us money, 20 to 30 guys would go to their house and we would break down their door. I can’t tell you how many times I participated in something like this. We’d go in and whoever was at home would take a beating. If the person in question wasn’t there, we would beat up their family. It didn’t matter if they had children. We would beat them too.

The gang has their own detectives, so if you don’t cooperate, they will find and kill your family in El Salvador, or Honduras or any other place. Or they will rape your daughters, girlfriends, sisters.

If a father doesn’t want to cooperate with us, they will do something to his daughter. I never raped anyone, but others did. If a gang member was interested in a girl he saw, he would rape her and claim her as property.

Yeah, they are pretty fucking horrible.

This is what Trump derangement syndrome does.

Trump moves the US Embassy to Jerusalem, the historic capital of the Jewish people, in accordance with a 1995 law.  The media with TDS figures how to take a Hamas led attempted incursion into Israel and turn Hamas into the victims and Israel into the bag guys.

Trump says we need to crack down on MS-13 because they are so violent the “are animals.”  The media with TDS rush to defend a violent street gang known for gang raping young girls and murdering people in the more horrible ways imaginable.

Congratulations MSNBC, you are now officially defending a culture of rape at knife point.

Why are antis so violent – Kent State Edition

Kaitlin Marie is a graduate of Kent State and a campus carry advocate.

After graduation she decided to take a few pics of her with her rifle on campus, all legal.

*I should note that I’m not a fan of this type of open carry.  I have my reasons.  But it’s her right and I’m not going stop her.

Some of the responses were exactly what you would expect – assuming  you, like me, have little faith in the humanity of some people.

https://twitter.com/RealS___/status/996891846558322688

Why is she dumb?  Oh yeah, the “everybody that disagrees with me is stupid” argument.

https://twitter.com/Griffon_Door/status/996707208158240768

Oh look, the “gun owners are racists” trope.  Double down with the “the  only reason to own an assault rifle is to murder a lot of people” trope.  A twofer of fictitious bullshit.

https://twitter.com/FADEdiscotheque/status/996853011753381890

I loathe The Purge.  It is the worst anti Right strawman/far Left projection that I’ve ever seen.  The whole premise is “if we let conservatives do what they want, they’d murder everybody who isn’t rich and white.”  Except that historically, is it the far left that murders everybody they disagree with.

Marie seems to own her rifle for the same reason I own mine.  Because I want to be left the fuck alone.  FADE here seems to want to kill everyone she doesn’t like and thinks everybody else is out to do the same.

This screen grab post by Marie is by far the most telling.

Nothing demonstrates the moral superiority of the anti gun side than threatening to bash a woman’s brains in with your are fists because you disagree with her politics.

Marie: “I have a rifle to defend myself.”

Antis: “You don’t need a gun and I’ll beat you to death to prove it.”

The more these assholes open their mouths, the more they prove why we need guns.

A followup to HuffPo

One person commented on my post HuffPo goes stupid on gun violence asking why what Siwatu-Salama Ra did was illegal.

The Ra case has been taken up by people on the Left as evidence of injustice in gun law.  The New York Daily News, Vox, and Black Stormfront The Root are all running with the same story since it hits all the right buttons:

A pregnant, black environmental activist was sentenced to two years and/or forced to give birth in prison for defending her family with a gun.

There is a great deal of irony in the people who viciously attack stand your ground turning around an using stand your ground in this case to defend Ra.

So I did some digging.

Chanell Harvey told a different version of events than Ra.

Harvey testified at Ra’s preliminary examination that she dropped her 14-year-old daughter off at the home on Sturtevant Street about 8:15 p.m. She intended for her daughter to spend the night with Ra’s niece at Ra’s mother’s home.

Harvey testified that her daughter called her in tears about 15 minutes later, asking to be picked up; she’d been ordered to leave the home and wasn’t welcome to stay overnight.

When she arrived to collect her daughter, Harvey said Ra came out of the home yelling, ordering them to leave.

She was “basically telling us, ‘Bye, get on,’ get from in front of the house, basically,” Harvey testified.

Harvey, who admits she directed profanity at Ra, says she was upset becasuse Ra’s niece had spent the night at her home weeks earlier, and so she didn’t understand why her daughter wasn’t welcome to do the same.

Harvey claims she was stopped in the middle of the street when her daughter entered the vehicle. Ra went to her own vehicle, which was parked on the street, took her 2-year-old daughter out — she’d been playing inside — handed the child to her niece, and pulled out a handgun, according to Harvey.

“She got a gun,” Harvey says she told her friend, Toya, to whom she was talking on her cellphone at the time.

“She cocked it and pointed it,” Harvey testified. “(Ra’s) mother came over and smacked the gun out of her hand.”

Harvey claims Ra picked up the gun a second time and pointed it at her again, but she was blocked from driving away by a black truck that was in front of her.

“Then, in the midst of me moving out of the way again, I did hit her car,” Harvey said. “It wasn’t on purpose. I moved it to get out of the way.

“You know, when you get a gun pointed at you, you’re going to get out of the way.”

Harvey claims that when the road cleared, but before she drove away, she stopped to take three pictures of Ra holding the gun, but Ra hid it out of sight behind her back.

The national review got a copy of the police report against Ra via a FOIA request.  It includes the pictures of Ra holding the gun behind her back.

That kind of makes the whole stand your ground and “I feared for my life” argument a little less valid.

The jury thought so as well.  They were convinced, unanimously beyond a reasonable doubt, that it was an argument and a gun gut pulled.

The jury also did not know that the conviction for assault with a deadly weapon carried a two year minimum sentence.

Furthermore, Ra’s lawyer sucked something awful.  His defense of Ra was entirely based on race.  That the only reason Ra was arrested and charged was that she was defending herself while black.

You’re allowed to behave differently when you’re fearful based on the color of your skin. George Zimmerman was allowed to be fearful and to act on that fear. He was allowed to take the life of an unarmed black child. Juxtapose that next to my client who had a car coming at her mother, and that same car had just presented danger to her child. It was driven by the complaining witness, but Siwatu wasn’t allowed to be fearful and rely on her government-licensed and sanctioned firearm to ward off her attacker.

That didn’t fly so well in majority black Detroit, where it was a black victim, black defendant, majority black police force and city government.  They instead chose to convict based on the evidence.

The media has had more favorable coverage for Ra because of her identity – pregnant, black, liberal political activist – but the facts just were not on her side.

This is another case of narrative vs. reality.

It sucks that she had to give birth in jail and is now a felon.

It sucks more that she pulled a gun during am argument and the person she was supposedly defending herself from managed to snap a photo of her  standing around in the street with it held behind her back.

Keith Ellison needs to listen to Ben and Jerry

I saw this video of Keith Ellison advocating for the destruction of the economy.

I had to look up what he said.

Arthur Peck is the CEO of The Gap.  According to Salary.com:

As President and CEO, Gap Inc. at GAP INC, Arthur Peck made $15,587,186 in total compensation. Of this total $1,396,058 was received as a salary, $4,045,859 was received as a bonus, $3,275,460 was received in stock options, $6,762,235 was awarded as stock and $107,574 came from other types of compensation. This information is according to proxy statements filed for the 2017 fiscal year.

According to Payscale the average salary at The Gap is $87,000.  That includes all the corporate level positions including buyers, planners, managers, and employees you don’t see at the retail level.

Given total compensation, Peck only makes 179 times as much as the average Gap employee, not “a thousand times” as Ellison said.

There are other factors as play here.

According to Market Watch, The Gap is a publicly traded company with 2017 sales revenue of $15.52 BILLION dollars.

The Gap operates 3,594 stores worldwide and has sub brands that include Banana Republic, Old Navy, Intermix, Weddington Way, and Athleta.

The Gap employs roughly 135,000 people worldwide.

So… the responsibility of the CEO is to manage a company with $15 billion in revenue, 135,000 employees, and 3,600 retail locations, all while being publicly traded and held accountable by the shareholders.

I doubt that level of skill comes cheap.

Ellison should study up on the saga of Ben and Jerry’s management catastrophe.

In a nutshell, Ben and Jerry are some progressive dudes.  They decided that the CEO (Ben) should only make five times as much as the lowest paid employee, so his salary was $81,000.

Now keep in mind that they also owned the fucking company, so salary and total earnings were just a tad different.

But… Ben decided to retire.  They went on the look for a new CEO.

They just couldn’t find a candidate who had the skills and ability to manage a company with tens of millions of dollars in sales, with nation wide retail stores, contracts with secondary retailers (grocery stores, Wal-Mart, convenience stores, etc), thousands of employees, etc. for $81,000.

They were offering middle management salaries and expecting CEO level skill.

It was insulting.  It’s like asking a brain surgeon to take over as Chief of Neurology at a major hospital and offering to pay him $45/hr because that’s five times what the orderly emptying bed pans makes.

It’s just insulting.

So they bumped it to 17 times, about $505,000.  That didn’t work.

So they sold out to Unilever Brands and cashed out.  The Unilever CEO makes 8.3 million Euros or about $10 Million.

The fact is that if you cut Pecks salary to $1 million and gave everybody else raises, that would mean that $14 million divided by 135,000 is a $103 annual raise or $8.60 per moth.

What The Gap would lose is his skill at the helm.  If The Gap and its shareholders didn’t think Peck was worth it, they wouldn’t have offered him the money.

Welcome to the free market, where if you have the skills to manage a multi national, multi billion dollar a year business, you can make a lot of money.

That’s not to say I 100% agree with all CEO compensation.

I’d like to see something that better ties a CEO’s compensation to long term company stability.  Perhaps making stock bonuses or share values have a maturation time that starts once the CEO leaves.  You don’t want a CEO to bump current stock value with decisions that only pay off in the short term, cash out, and then let the company go belly up  a year later.  That’s how we got into a lot of financial messes a few years ago.

But having the Government cap CEO salaries is not going to do anything but hurt business and by extension, the employees that depend on them.

The guys smart enough to make millions as CEOs will still figure out how to make millions on the global market.  The guys who end up in the CEO chair will have the skill to manage a single McDonald’s franchise, not a fast food corporation with 37,000 restaurants  and $23 billion in revenue.
