Profiles in TDS Retardation

Dr. Eugene Gu is an anti Trump nut job.  To show you just how much of a nut job he is, when Trump blocked him on Twitter for being an obnoxious shit, he sued Trump on First Amendment grounds.  He won, but was such an obnoxious shit about it, that the hospital he worked at Vanderbilt decided not to renew his contract.  Now he’s screaming racism.

So Gu goes back to Twitter to bitch and complain about Trump, illegal immigrants, and the United Nations.

First of all… no, the detainment of illegal immigrants crossing into the US against federal law is not interment camps.

Second, he wants to appeal to the UN Human Rights Council.  A group with includes:

  1. Afghanistan
  2. Angola
  3. China
  4. Democratic Republic of the Congo
  5. Egypt
  6. Ethiopia
  7. Iraq
  8. Qatar
  9. Saudi Arabia
  10. South Africa
  11. The UAE
  12. Venezuela

Qatar and the UAE are both nations built on slavery. The Congo rapes girls then forces them to mine Coltan.  South Africa legalized stealing land from white people, raping white women, and is the home of necklacing.  The Arab nations allow women to be stoned to death for being raped.  They chop off hands for petty crimes.  Venezuela is engaging in all the same human rights abuses as both the Soviet Union and the worst Banana Republics.

The UNHRC is pretty much scam in which the world’s worst human rights abusers can legitimize themselves by hating Jews and condemning Israel.

This are the nations Gu wants to judge us.

Then it gets worse.  One of his followers suggested the UN send in “Peacekeepers to free us.”

Unfortunately I was blocked before I could capture the Tweet.

But this person was not alone.  There are a lot of followers who want the UN to intervene in the US.

These are the same Peacekeepers that rape children in refugee camps.  The ones that, by international law, cannot be prosecuted for raping and abusing the people they are supposed to protect.  The same Peacekeepers that were caught engaging in child sex trafficking in Haiti.

These are the monsters that the #Resistance wants to bring in and judge us.

You know what, fine.  Let them.

I can’t wait to read about how a bunch of illegal immigrant children are sexually abused by the Pakistani Peacekeepers brought in to protect them from ICE.

Besides, I still have my Second Amendment rights and I’m pretty sure the UN sending in Peacekeepers against our will is an invasion by a hostile force.

I know a lot of people would enjoy trying to pull a Quigley on a blue helmet.

It reminds me, I need to order a new optic for my SASS.

Lawyers: Parkland deputy wasn’t legally required to stop massacre

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Many have called him a coward, but former sheriff’s deputy Scot Peterson had no legal duty to stop the slaughter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, his attorneys say.
Peterson took shelter rather than confront the killer, but he did not act with malice or bad faith, according to his attorneys, Michael Piper and Christopher Stearns of Fort Lauderdale. Therefore he can’t be held legally responsible for the deaths, they say in court documents.
Allegations against Peterson suggest only that he “opted for self-preservation over heroics,” the attorneys wrote.

A Florida statute gives immunity to officers for injury suffered as a result of what they do while on the job unless they acted in bad faith or exhibited “wanton and willful disregard of human rights, safety, or property, ” the attorneys say.

Lawyers: Parkland deputy wasn’t legally required to stop

I went looking for the particular statute and other than one offering immunity for false imprisonment, I can’t find anything like the lawyers quote.

Another source uses words that are more familiar to us:

The motion claims, “No duty of care exists at common law for an individual to address the killer and kill the killer.”

Scot Peterson’s Attorneys Say He Had No Duty To Stop Parkland School Shooting

Finally I was able to find Scot Peterson’s Motion to Dismiss and it gave me the proper statute: 768.28 Waiver of sovereign immunity in tort actions; recovery limits; limitation on attorney fees; statute of limitations; exclusions; indemnification; risk management programs.

(9)(a) No officer, employee, or agent of the state or of any of its subdivisions shall be held personally liable in tort or named as a party defendant in any action for any injury or damage suffered as a result of any act, event, or omission of action in the scope of her or his employment or function, unless such officer, employee, or agent acted in bad faith or with malicious purpose or in a manner exhibiting wanton and willful disregard of human rights, safety, or property.

This is obviously legally important, but something else is in the Motion to Dismiss and that is quotes of cases siding with the Defendant. I think I heard it from Andrew Branca about the importance of jurisprudence on  case and this motion is full of that, well over a dozen court cases in Florida that are quoted in favor of the defendant.

Also on the article, we find this quote from Peterson’s lawyer

“Passion and emotion of any kind, whether it’s sympathy or anger or desire for catharsis, whatever it is, has no place in a legal analysis if someone is responsible for damages,” Piper said in an interview.

That is referred to the language used in the lawsuit against Peterson and others. Here are some screen captures :

I am not a lawyer and only read a few lawsuits and court papers compared to one, but I think that is pretty incendiary name-calling that fits better social media rather than court documents.  I support the sentiment wholly, but I think it is not the proper location to display it and it could sabotage the case even more. I cannot see why lawyers would use that language unless they were forced by their client.

On that last thought, I don’t think Mr. Pollack is expecting to win, but he is enraged enough to just drag Peterson’s name through the mud and have a legal record of doing so. Again from the article:

“I really feel that we exposed him to everyone in the country, and we are going to keep exposing him,” Pollack said. “He hasn’t seen the last of (my lawyer) and myself.”

No doubt that Peterson is scum (OK, lower than), but I am afraid that Mr. Pollack is gonna end up ruining his life because of him. Anger must be properly targeted and used in a meaningful way. I would not be surprised if in the future we hear that Peterson was seriously injured or killed by Andrew Pollack, specially if the lawsuit is thrown out.

When you catch them with their own trap.

Commenting negatively on old Broward County charging $500 in the early 80s for a concealed weapons permit, one guy actually retorted that my definition of rich being that amount requires for me to find a new career. I responded inquiring if we could charge $500 for a voter registration card and if he thought we would hear any complain about being unfair to minorities and the poor.

Still waiting for his reply.

Chicago Violence. Not a new thing.

I just started helping with some research for Clayton Cramer when I found this article in a newspaper from 1919.

I guess some Cities do maintain and even improve their traditions. According to HeyJackass, as of this morning, the City of Chicago has had 191 murders so far in 2018.

It always ends with mass graves

From the City of Berkeley, California.

Here are some highlights from of the text of the Declaration of Climate Emergency.

Human activities have warmed the Earth enough to end the 12,000-year period of climate stability that allowed agriculture and human civilization to develop.

I was not aware that we had 12,000 years of stable climate.  I remember reading about the Medieval Warm Period and subsequent little ice age and the first astronomers tracking sunspots.

But I guess Berkeley will engage in revisionist history and unperson a scientific phenomenon.

It is estimated that humanity currently uses the equivalent of about 1.6
earths per year in resource consumption and waste disposal, a figure that is headed toward 3 earths per year in 2030.

I guess Berkeley no longer teaches the law of conservation of mass.  How in the hell do you use 1.6 earths per year in resources?

indigenous and low-income communities and communities of color in the
United States and abroad have suffered the gravest consequences of the extractive economy since its inception.

Can’t have intersectionality without making something racist.

The death and destruction already wrought by global warming of 1°C
demonstrate that the earth is already too hot for safety and justice.

I know these assholes think that radical Islam is the fault of global warming, but Muhammad was butchering people in the desert 1,400 years before the industrial revolution.

Now I guess they are going to blame the death by the leading killers of the 20th century, Communism and tyrannical governments, on climate change too.

Pope Francis has declared that humanity is on the verge of a “global suicide,” noting that we will destroy ourselves if we destroy God’s creation, and has called for a life-sustaining economy.

Pope Francis has me believing in Saint Malachy’s Prophecy, also known as the Prophecy of the Popes.  I don’t think that Malachy was right that the last Pope will bring about the end of the world, but he will bring about the end of organized Catholicism.  Pope Francis is a radical Left wing, socialist, Social Justice Warrior Pope.  He seems to spend more time in public apologizing for Islamdemanding European nations take in racial Islamic refugees, and condemning American capitalism, than he does promoting the Catholic faith.

I have little interest or respect for what Che in Vestements has to say.

Here is where shit gets real:

During World War II, the Bay Area came together across race, age, class,
gender and other differences in an extraordinary regional mobilization, building and repairing Liberty ships, converting car assembly plants into tank manufacturing facilities, rapidly switching to mass transit systems, and serving as the most important symbol of freedom in the Pacific Theater during the war as well as the site of the signing of the United Nations Charter at its conclusion.

They are invoking WWII.

Reversing ecological overshoot and halting the sixth mass extinction
requires an effort to preserve and restore half Earth’s biodiversity in interconnected wildlife corridors and to humanely stabilize population, as well as a shift toward a climate-resilient society and culture that prioritize conservation, community, and mutual aid over consumerism and narcissism.

Communist genocide. That is communist genocide, no “ands, ifs, or buts” about it.

How do you “humanely stabilize [the] population” if people want to have more kids?

What coercive tactics do you use?  Also, what population is being “stabilized.”  Are you going to tell me that the Berkeley City Council is going to tell minority women to keep their legs shut, since black and Hispanic women have the highest demographic birth rates in mainland United States.

Somehow, I doubt it.

Well, if they end capitalism (consumerism) death from starvation and lack of medicine will soon follow, but that usually hits the poor the hardest.

I don’t know what Berkeley is actually going to do now that it adopted this resolution.

What I do know is that once again we see a radical, Leftist, anti-capitalist group of bureaucrats thinking that they can solve the problems of the world if only they could selectively reduce the human population.

This shit always ends with mass graves.

Bernie is right about that

Bernie Sanders at the We the People Summit.

He is right about making radical ideas mainstream.

When I was growing up, being openly bigoted about and discriminating against people because of the color of their skin was looked down upon.

Publicly shaming people and destroying their carriers, reputations, and lives because of they voiced a rather middle of the road opinion publicly used to not happen.

Burning college campuses and beating other students with bats because a visitor came to speak was unheard of.

Colleges didn’t erupt in protest over an email about Halloween costumes.

Crappy cafeteria food was accepted as the norm and not “cultural appropriation” that required shutting down the dining hall.

People didn’t threaten to rape or murder teenage girls over their choice of prom dress.

The respectable thing was to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and soldier on, not white about being a victim and demanding other people coddle you.

There were only two genders.

The radical ideas of the Left have become mainstream in America.

We are seeing the same sorts of behaviors here that took place in Russia and China early in the Communist and Maoist revolution.  Public shaming and reputation destruction of people with the wrong opinions.  Student led uprisings and violence.

If this goes any further, we are going to see the mainstreaming of large scale violence and political show trials.

Just ask Rep Steve Scalise about that.
