I disagree with J. Kb. and I believe Kasky is trying to do the old  “I am compromising what I believe so now it is your turn and you need to compromise your rights.”

A couple of days ago, I had a lengthy discussion with somebody who was trying to go out of his way to make me believe he understood what we were wanting and recited the proper keywords to back his claim. When I refused to budge, he lamented that my uncompromising attitude was not advancing the cause of peace (and other assorted BS platitudes) and that a simple background check and registration could not hurt anybody. I retorted that we had been compromising steadily since 1934 and it would be a great time for his side to do a real compromise, so I asked him if he would pledge his unconditional support to National Reciprocity.

He immediately started to come up with excuses and possible problems about standards between states. I told him that every state that issues a CWP requires the full information of the person, a photograph, fingerprints and a complete background check, the same things and even more he was just asking me to compromise on guns. Somehow that was not enough for him and recoiled at the idea of supporting National Reciprocity and the reason was obvious: they are not negotiating in good faith and will never do. All his “come to Jesus and understand your Fellow Citizens” was plain political maneuvering  and misdirection and that is the same thing I smell from Kasky. I even offered to really sit down at the table and work gun laws we can all agree if we start from tabula rasa, cleans slate: No gun laws at all that would complicate an even and good-faith negotiation.

He has not replied to me yet.

I wonder why.

Despite the fact that I thought I did at the time, I don’t know everything. But, I look back on that and I say, you know what, there were people who had just been buried and when you’re looking at somebody that you find might in some way have been complicit in this murderer obtaining the weapon it’s hard not to say something like that. But, I went into that wanting less conversation and more to embarrass Rubio and that was my biggest flaw.

This summer when March For Our Lives went on the summer tour that we embarked on I met that person in Texas whose got that semi-automatic weapon because that’s how they like to protect their family. I met the 50 some odd percent of woman who are pro-life, even though I thought it was preposterous that a woman could be pro-life and not pro-choice at the time. I learned that a lot of our issues politically come from a lack of understanding of other perspectives and also the fact that so often young conservatives and young liberals will go into debate, like I said earlier, trying to beat the other one as oppose to come to an agreement…I’m working on some efforts to encourage bipartisanship or at least discussion that is productive and help a lot of people avoid the mistakes that I made.

My whole message is I was dropped up as an expert. The whole message was these kids are the real experts. Look, I have some very intelligent friends. Some friends who can intellectually run circles around me, but I’m not the expert in pretty much anything.

Wow.  Seriously wow.

Cameron Kasky engaged in some serious introspection and realized he’s a dumb kid that knows nothing.

I don’t say that now to insult him.  It’s the truth.

I know now that once upon a time I was a dumb kid that knew nothing and thought I knew everything.  My reality and my self perception slammed into each other hard and I had to do some serious growing up.

I was a smart kid in high school.  Classes were easy for me.  I could cram over lunch or study hall for 15 minutes before a class and ace the exam.  Then I went to college.  Surrounded by other smart kids in a top tier engineering school, I assumed I could do as well in college as high school with the same study habits.

Boy howdy, I was wrong, and I nearly flunked out.

I took me a couple of years to turn my life around and I really didn’t fully level up until grad school.

That point where it hits you “I’m not as smart or special as I think I am and I have to work hard to better myself” is a painful moment but is the beginning of maturity.

Kasky had that moment and is trying to make that change.  It must have been hard for Kasky to have this epiphany with people all around him supporting his every ignorant proclamation of moral superiority.

Kudos to him, sincerely, for that.

This is a stark contrast to David Hogg who is still running around as the ignorant sage.

This upsets me because it proves that the big name players on the left KNOW that they are pushing angry, ignorant kids into celebrity status.  Using them for their energetic lack of knowledge.

I know that for abandoning the cause, Kasky will become persona non grata with the Bloomberg group.  I just hope some new benefactors come along to help him spread this message.  The best thing for these screaming kids right now is to have one that they looked up to five minutes ago say “you have some growing up and learning to do before you start making demands for change.”

In the end, this gives me hope that more kids might have this moment of realization and we might actually see a shift.

We know that nobody has been fired or even given a slap on the wrist for the colossal screw up with Niki Cruz and the Parkland shooting. The Broward School Board, BSO and basically everybody in local government appears to be one big happy political mafia covering each other’s asses.

This is the latest.

Florida’s largest charter school membership organization announced Wednesday that it is partnering with Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz’s former mental health care provider to render services to schools.
Broward County’s Henderson Behavioral Health will provide mental health assessments, diagnoses, interventions, treatment and recovery services, free of charge, to students in need at member schools of the Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools, according to a news release. Training will also be offered to school staff for a $25 fee.

Henderson has been criticized for its handling of Cruz, who was evaluated at least three times in September and October of 2016 by members of a Henderson crisis team. After a suicide assessment was conducted, Henderson’s team determined committing Cruz under the Baker Act was not warranted.

Remember it was covered in a previous post that the Parkland Shooting Report said Cruz was disturbed enough to start high risk protocols in the school and restrict his access, but that Henderson YES team put the kibosh on sending him to the Baker Act road. Now Henderson gets a juicy morsel paid by the Florida taxpayers.

If the Democrats could have half the collusion shown with this case and apply it to Trump, he’d be right now in Death Row with all his appeals denied.

This woman made a larger claim in a (now deleted) Facebook post that the assault of then 15 year old, Dr. Ford was a widely known rumor.

Of course, the details this woman released contradict the WaPo story by Dr. Ford.  Dr. Ford claimed it happened during the summer and she told no one until 2012, and that there were only four people at the party.

This woman’s story suggests it happened during the school year and somehow people knew, even though Dr. Ford admits she kept is a secret.  This means that the other two people at the part must have known and said something.  Why haven’t they, or anybody else at Dr. Ford’s alma mater come forward?

Ms. King Miranda said she would not testify but did give an interview to NPR in which she walked back everything.

She says she doesn't have "first-hand knowledge" — but that despite not knowing specifics, she remembers there was a "buzz" that went around the weekend of the party in question about an alleged incident involving students from her school and Kavanaugh's. https://t.co/g2ArVHDFgW

She also seems to regret her decision to have to go on TV and explain herself over and over again.

She’s begrudgingly going on TV but won’t go on the record with sworn testimony.

I don’t think it is a coincidence that Dr. Ford is refusing to testify, or is attempting to indefinitely stall testifying, and now her lawyer is refusing to go respond to the Judiciary Committee.

The last piece of the puzzle here is the actions of the Senate Democrats, like that of Mazie Hirono, saying that making Dr. Ford testify is “re-victimizing” her.

This is the same logic that we’ve seen for the last few years on college campuses, where men accused of sexual impropriety are not allowed to defend themselves because that is an attack on women.

Remember that Columbia University destroyed the reputation and future career of a male student because a female student accused him of rape and made herself famous for carrying around a mattress on campus.  Columbia was sued by the male student and had to settle.

Keep in mind that Mattress Girl was the guest of Senator Gillibrand to the State of the Union, and Gillibrand has been at the forefront of condemning and convicting Kavanaugh without Dr. Ford’s sworn testimony.

Pretty much I believe Dr. Ford and Ms. King Miranda are lying.

Maybe something bad happened to Dr. Ford, but not at the hands of Brett Kavanaugh.

These women live deep inside the Progressive, Social Justice, Feminist bubble.  I believe that they though that the new campus rules, the rules of the Left, have become the rules of the nation.  I know the Left thinks is has won the culture war.

I believe that these women though that they could simply drop an accusation and that #BelieveAllWomen meant that they didn’t ever have to prove their accusations.  Mattress Girl became a feminist icon for doing that.

People have set up Go-Fund-Me pages for Dr. Ford for “security and legal fees.”  It has already raised over $100K.  This comes on the heels of other #Resistance heroes getting huge sums of money from anti-Trump idiots on fundraising websites.  If she played her cards right, she could milk this into a sweet #Resistance payday or even a book deal.

They didn’t expect a push back demanding things like evidence and sworn testimony.  That’s the the rules of the game that they know.

Now that things like libel and perjury are real conditions of going forward with this, they are getting cold feet.  This isn’t campus fun and games anymore.  This is real life with real consequences.

Now these women are back peddling or deflecting to try and save face.

I may be wrong on all of this, by my feelings are that these women though they only had to play by SJW rules and could derail Kavanaugh’s confirmation and are shell shocked by GOP holding them to account by the rule of law.

It looks like Seattle is willing to put up with a career criminal going on a 15 minute rampage, literally putting other shoppers’ lives in danger, and doing tens-of-thousands of dollars in property damage.

This is the ultimate culmination of a radical progressive, anti-cop attitude.

This man head butted an employee.

This man could have seriously hurt or killed someone pushing a display down an escalator to crack it open, and the police never show up.

When he finally was arrested, he was let go, to pillage some more.

What amazes me the casual way other shoppers just ignore this man, as though watching a crazy person destroy a big box retailer is another day in Seattle.

Just like for the people of San Francisco, I have no sympathy for the people of Seattle.  They made this bed every time they elected a progressive who ran on a platform of how woke they are.

Go woke, go broke, and this guy broke a woke Target in a woke city.

Tijuana Municipal Police were summoned to colonia Amparo Sanchez last Thursday after citizens observed a pack of street dogs fighting over a severed human head presumably dumped there. Residents reported the incident at approximately 6:30 pm, according to local media.

Police were later able to secure the head and handed the scene over to the forensic medical services team from the state attorney general’s office. No information was available on the identity of the victim, nor were other remains located.

I followed the link to the original Mexican source to find out that the head was not the only event that happened in that neighborhood. A couple of hours earlier, authorities responded to two shootings with three people dead and one wounded. Since all of the dead seem to have their heads attached, it is not far-fetched to deduct there is still a body somewhere playing the Headless Burro-Man.

Don’t forget, Abolish ICE because nothing says we are an open and culturally inviting country accepting everybody’s ways than seeing a pack of dogs playing soccer with a human head in front of your home.

Keep asking who benefits if ICE is abolished and why do you have US Politicians so willing to do their bidding.
