Rashida Tlaib Follows Anti-Semitic Instagram Page

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), who made news for being the first Palestinian Muslim woman elected to U.S. Congress, follows an Instagram account that routinely shares blatantly anti-Semitic posts and 9/11 conspiracy theories. The account Tlaib follows shares posts comparing Jews to vermin and Hitler, posts asserting Jews wield an enormous amount of power, and posts claiming Israel “did” 9/11 and supports ISIS.

Tlaib’s official verified Instagram account, which follows under 1,100 users, is following an account called “free.palestine.1948,” a reference to the establishment of Israel. The Instagram page appears to post multiple times per day. While Tlaib does follow other pages that mention “Palestine” in their names, those pages are private. Tlaib does not appear to follow any obviously pro-Israel pages.

The images from the Instagram page are straight out of Nazi Germany in their imagery.

I actually sat down al watched Maduro’s speech last night. I think what triggered Pompeo’s order was the part where Maduro orders the Colectivos and assorted other goons to begin “Active Resistance”. That is not a good omen.

There is some Opposition march for this afternoon at 3 pm local. Maybe they will get a visit from the “resistance.”

Look, I get it, I hate her too, but can we not let partisanship make us stupid?

Google and Facebook combined amount to 70% of web traffic.

Almost 80% of web referrals are between these two sites.

This chart from Business Insider shows just how much Google and Faceboook control of different parts of the web.

If you run a small business and do not pay for Google and Facebook ads you are really screwing yourself.

I started an LLC to do some light consulting work.  I got solicitations from Google for buying ads.

The way some of these tech companies use web traffic is in every way a monopoly.

Breaking up monopolies is good for the economy.  The cellphone market would not exist today if the goverment had not broken up American Bell and AT&T.

Computer tech boomed after busting the Microsoft monopoly.

The Sherman Anti Trust act is a strong weapon for a free market.

I don’t know exactly what Elizabeth Warren wants to do, and I don’t trust her to do it right, but…

Let’s not get so wrapped up in our hate of Elizabeth Warren that we defend anti-competitive and monopoly business practices.
