The Democrats, and in particular Representative Evan Jenne, are doing their best to kill the Guardia Program by adding amazingly stupid training requirements to make sure the ban for teachers remains in place.  They just filed about 17 58 House Floor Amendments trying to do just that.

I am not surprised they did so, and specially Rep. Jenne whose daddy was notoriously anti gun and now a Federal Felon: Former Broward County Sheriff Ken Jenne.

These amendments are to be discussed  on the floor of the full house. That means we shift targets from commissions to the whole package of Representatives.

FINAL: They are up now to that stupid 58 amendments and they petty much repeat themselves so let me summarize them for you: 1) Teachers are to remain forcibly unarmed and fuck them, 2) We want that sweet $400,000,000 that the Legislature was suppose to give us if we implement the programs but without any requirements as how we spend it for the school. It is free money anyway and we know schools better than you.

Politics is downstream of the culture.

When I talk about a national divorce, it’s not just politics, it’s the totality of the cultural divide in America.

If we had a more common culture, and only disagreed about the minutiae of governance, I wouldn’t feel this way.

But we don’t.

Take California and Georgia for instance.

Georgia is now the the No. 1 filming location in the world, with $9.5 billion in economic impact from it.  Taxes and regulations in California are just too high, so while the studios are there, the work is done elsewhere.

Georgia just elected a Republican as Governor and majority state legislature.

That is the will of the people of Georgia.

The state government is pushing a bill to restrict abortion to six weeks or earlier.  Like it or hate it, this is the result of the Georgia election.  If it is not what the people of Georgia want, the Republicans will lose the next round of elections and the new Democrat governor and legislature will change the law.  That is the way the process has worked in America for various topics for more than two centuries.

Now, the Hollywood elite want to crush the Georgia film industry because of this abortion bill.

Let that sink in.

The multi-millionaire Hollywood celebrity glitterati want to hurt the working class of the film industry – grips and set workers, stunt men, and prop artists who live in Georgia, not the stars who live in Malibu – because Georgia doesn’t support murdering unborn children.

These people drove the film industry out of California by supporting insane tax and spend policies, now they want to kill it in another state because of abortion.

And you wonder why I frequently refer to the French Revolution.

Here is the super-wealthy elite in one state trying to ruin the lives of working class people in another state, on the other side of the country because they, the elite, think they know better.

Of course, the irony here is that many of the people in the Georgia film industry are Left leaning so it’s Radical Lefties hurting mostly other Lefties.

This is such incredible hubris it is hard to behold.

I wonder how the people of Georgia would take to Hollywood harming $9.5 billion of their economy.

Do you honestly think they will say “you are right, we will allow partial birth abortion if you just start filming here again.”

Or would they start fantasizing about erecting the guillotine to use against the Red Carpet interlopers?

It turns out that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is really unpopular.

Overall, she has a 41% overall unfavorable rating against a 31% favorable.

The more people know about her, the more the dislike her.

It turn out that the majority of Americans we note big fans of what was in the Green New Deal.  Her being held responsible for Amazon pulling HQ2 out of NYC really hurt her in New York.

So it’s a good thing for the Democrats that she has been one of the trifecta of outspoken “Fresh Face” member of the House that have assumed the party leadership and are driving the direction of the Democrats in 2020.

Or not so much…

It seem some in the Democrat party have notices that AOC, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Talib, as much as the media loves them, are sort of…. hated by the most of the rest of America.

This has bolstered the support for Joe Biden as an almost moderate – i.e., not an intersectional woke – Democrat.

That was until the other day when a Democrat confirmed what Conservatives have observed about Biden for years.  That he is a creepy, grope happy, old pervert.

So the Democrats find themselves in an election pickle.  On one side is the intersectional coalition running on identity politics and AOC type crazy-eye socialism.  On the other is a 76 year old, career politician and sentient physical manifestation of #MeToo.

What to do, what to do?

Investigators would not say what they think Rowland did to Josephson from the time she got into his black Chevrolet Impala in Columbia’s Five Points entertainment district around 1:30 a.m. Friday until her body was dumped in woods off a dirt road in Clarendon County about 65 miles (105 kilometers) away.

Josephson had numerous wounds to her head, neck, face, upper body, leg and foot, according to arrest warrants released Sunday by the State Law Enforcement Division. The documents didn’t say what was used to attack her.
