Trump Will Not Be Impeached (An interesting view)

If there is a Senate trial, Democratic senators will be required to attend. No one knows this better than Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and he is most certainly prepared to make the most of the opportunity.

On top of issuing subpoenas to all the people Republicans haven’t been permitted to call, McConnell can see to it that the process drags on — and on — and on…

Why does this matter?

Answer me this — what do you think that Sens. Warren, Booker and Sanders will do if they are forced to leave the campaign trail to attend an impeachment trial? What do you think their supporters will do?

If you thought the fuss over Hillary’s backstabbing of Sanders in 2016 was nasty, think of what the supporters of these two will do if their candidates are sidelined and unable to campaign. And who would the big winner here be?

Why, none other than the establishment candidate Joe Biden.

Trump Will Not Be Impeached

Grab a cup of coffee and read. Lots of food for thought.  The idea of the Democrats shoot themselves in the collective feet by overreaching with the Impeachment do sounds lovely.

This is why you don’t let a silicon valley douchebag design a pickup truck

What the fuck is that?

It’s like a DeLorean and a Hot Wheels had a drunken one night stand.

How do you hook a gooseneck or a trailer to it?

Do people in Silicon Valley and San Francisco know what a pickup truck does?

And it won’t dent and is bullet proof.  So what?  Ultra-hard Stainless Steel means it won’t  absorb energy on impact and might even shatter.  I have serious misgivings about its crash worthiness.

The whole science of crumple zones is engineered points of preferred failure so the car dies instead of the occupants.  This tank might survive but the occupants are going to be turned into paste.

I don’t know what the purpose of this thing is, but its not going to make me give of my Ram, that’s for damn sure.

He needs to go back to launching his roadsters into space looking for the Loc-Nar and stay the fuck away from pickup trucks.

The Miami Herald defends NFL player who beat his pregnant girlfriend.

You may not heard of this case. Mark Walton, according to authorities,

“During the course of the argument, Walton pushed (the woman) against a wall and punched her several times in the face and head. I observed (the woman) to have swelling on her left eye,”

She was 5 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident and the grievous behavior that set Walton off was to tell him the child was his.

We are not talking here a grabbed arm or a shoulder pushed. This apparently were deliberate punches of a Football player upon the face and head of a woman. And the evidence appears to be so overwhelming that the Dolphins cut him off the team already.  Add to that he already had a 4 game suspension for an accumulation of other crimes such as drugs, reckless driving, illegally carrying oa concealed weapon and …get this… fighting with a woman who took a video of him on her cell phone.

But what does the Miami Herald Editorial Board says?

All of which means that, at 22, his talent as a running back means absolutely nothing if he is a failure as a human being. Let’s be clear. Walton is a professional athlete, an A-list name. These are the only reasons, sadly, that his bad behavior is in the spotlight. His case is click-bait, not an aberration. (bold is mine)

Let me see if I get this right: If an A-List NFL player takes a political position which may upset the fans and lower the team’s income, he is not only to be respected but lionized and splashed all over the front page. But by the same “A-lis” status, if he beats the crap out of a pregnant woman, he should be given a pass? As little coverage as possible?

Look, redemption is hard. It’s not easy to take responsibility. It’s not easy to say his life has “turned around now,” as he told Herald sports columnist Barry Jackson in October, and really mean it. Walton needs help — as does his girlfriend. Being cut loose should not mean being forever lost. (again bold is mine)

We have posted about the families of armed robbers who were shot and killed by armed citizens during the commission of a forcible felony only to have their families bitch about it  and claim that they indeed had troubles in the past but that they were “turning around.”  That is exactly what the Miami Herald Editorial Board is doing with Mark Walton. And acts like that perpetuate the idea among players that they can get away with some nasty shit because they cost money an they will have powerful defenders in the Mainstream Media Enablers.

If they don’t try and kill you, they will still respond with violence

This is from Chico State:

The very Progressive female student hits the male student because of his “All Lives Matter” sign.  Then she blames him for her violence, saying that his sign “sacrificed [her] fucking safety.”

His sign opposed her viewpoint, so she decided that was a threat to her and she responded with violence.

The radical Left will always find a way to rationalize and justify their violent opposition to opposing views.  It allows them to claim the moral high ground, even when the high ground comes from standing on the throats of others.

As we get closer to the 2020 election, I have the feeling that attacks on MAGA hat wearers and Trump bumper sticker owners are only going to increase.

Like Miguel said: Prepare accordingly.

In which I defend Joe Biden

At the Democratic debate, Joe Biden was listing his accomplishments with the black community and said that he received support from the only black woman elected to the US Senate.

Of course, he was jumped on for ignoring that Kamala Harris was also elected to the US Senate.

This may have been Joe’s senility.

Or it may have been a Kinsley gaffe, which is “when a political gaffe reveals some truth that a politician did not intend to admit.”

I think Biden is right about something, Kamala Harris is and isn’t black.

Biologically speaking, yes, her father is of African descent.  I’m not arguing that.

Her mother was an Indian immigrant of the Brahmin caste, which is the highest caste in Hindu.    She received her doctorate from UC Berkeley and was a cancer researcher with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Her father was an immigrant from Jamaica, who earned his doctorate from UC Berkeley and taught in the UC Berkeley and Stanford economics department.  He was also a Fulbright Scholar.

Harris herself was born in Oakland in 1964 after the Civil Rights Act was passed.

So implicit in all of this is the question “what does it mean to be ‘black’ politically?'”

Harris’s family were not sharecroppers in the South.  Her family never fled north to escape Jim Crow and Segregation.  They were not affected by redlining.

She doesn’t share in any of the experiences of Black American culture.

So by lived experience, Harris is practically white.  The daughter of two Berkeley Ph.D.s, she’s more privileged than the vast majority of white people.

Cory Booker’s parents were executives for IBM, so he grew up privileged, but at the verst least, his dad experienced segregation as a child in South Carolina.

Perhaps this is why Harris doesn’t get much support from the black community.  Maybe they can tell that she has virtually nothing in common with them but her skin tone.

Honestly, I see this as good news.  It might be the beginning of the end for some of the Left’s racial haranguing.

Take the case of Colin Kaepernick.  He can wear a Kunta Kinte jersey to practice, but he can’t escape the fact that he was raised by white adoptive parents in the upper-middle class, predominately white, suburb of Turlock, California.  He was a 4.0 student and all-around athlete recruited to play for the Chicago Cubs before deciding to play football.  So by lived experience, he’s a privileged white man playing at being an oppressed African American.

Only white Progressives and professional grievance mongers are supporting Colin Kaepernick anymore.  His antics have gotten stale with everyone else.

This is going to more and more relevant on elite college campuses.  Does the Legacy black student at an Ivy League, born to rich Ivy League parents get to claim the victim status of a poor sharecropper because of the color of their skin if all he or she has ever known is private schools and the inside of BMW’s?

I think some people are getting sick of the answer to that question being “yes, of course.”
