Gov. Andrew Cuomo is deploying the National Guard to enforce a mile-radius coronavirus “containment area” in a Westchester County community dubbed perhaps the “largest cluster” of cases in America.

“New Rochelle, at this point, is probably the largest cluster of these cases in the United States,” Cuomo said in a Tuesday afternoon press conference. “And it’s a significant issue for us.”

The midpoint of the circle will be the Young Israel of New Rochelle Synagogue, where a lawyer at the center of the area’s now-108-patient outbreak worships, officials said.

I’ll leave the the awful optics of “containing” a Jewish community with soldiers to J Kb and concentrate in the fact of how must be chewing the insides of the Democrats wasting an opportunity to have a President of their own to declare a National State of Emergency.

Today there was yet another useless peaceful demonstration in Venezuela. I just found this in Twitter. The sign says “We buy real human hair” and the people in motorcycles are National Guard on their way to put down the demonstration my means of force.

Selling human hair was a total alien concept in Venezuela. Even donating hair was not a thing since there were no wig makers of any kind in the country and all hair pieces came from abroad. But this is back in pre-revolutionary times when Venezuelans had money and stuff to buy. I am sure there is a brisk human hair export business in hard foreign currency nowadays.

Nothing like being burned by your own words. But the idea that the virus’ name is racist because the location where it was firs reported is part of the moniker is not only stupid but ignores a long standing scientific tradition of simplicity whenever possible.

(CNN) — A group of teens was shot outside of a dance studio in a Baltimore suburb, killing one of them and injuring five more.
Baltimore County Police are still searching for the suspects.
The young victims were leaving an event at Triple Threat Elite Dance Studio around midnight Sunday when they were approached by several suspects, police said.
An altercation ensued, and the suspects fired several shots at the teens before fleeing, police said.
Rickie Tyrone Forehand, 13, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victims, two 12-year-old boys, a 14-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Unsupervised kids on a Saturday night usually do not lend to smart decisions. But God forbid you point at the culture that allows all this moral debauchery or you will be tagged as racist or worse. In the meantime, the bodies keep piling up.

I think it is time to think about the use of toilet-seat bidets.

OK, this is a wee bit embarrassing to me. I don’t like to share that kind of stuff.

I use a toilet-based bidet. I haven’t used toilet paper in the house for years. Of course I have the advantage of living in a warm climate and I don’t have to shoot almost frozen water down there, but there are models that use both cold and hot water lines.

From laundry to aroma control,  bidets have an advantage over paper.  And on those day that the outgoing load is literally burning its exit, the bidet works and an immediate fire suppressor and pain reducer.

Mexican food will no longer be a painful option.
