Splatter is coming
Miguel covered some of what happened with the protests in Madison, Wisconsin. A statue of an abolitionist and one representing progress and women’s suffrage were torn down and a Democratic representative was attacked.
Why did this happen, what was the instigating factor?
The arrest of this man:
On Tuesday, the protesters took to the streets of Madison with a renewed sense of outrage following the dramatic arrest of black activist Devonere Johnson, earlier in the day.
He ended up on his stomach on the ground with at least three officers holding him down, as he called out ‘they’re trying to kill me’, in addition to repeatedly asking what he was under arrest for.
Apparently threatening people with bat in a restaurant isn’t a crime if you are a Black Lives Matter activist, and getting arrested for harassing people on private property is cause for riots.
People will not put up with this for much longer I don’t think.
After months of being locked down and restaurants dying from a lack of patrons, a business owner being shaken down and his customers being driven off by an activist mau-mauing them with a club will not stand.
The Tall Tale of Bubba Wallace
A lot of other blogs have written about Bubba Wallace and the noose that wasn’t there. I’m not going to go over the details in depth.
It’s enough to say that someone on Wallace’s pit crew said that there was a noose left in his garage at Talladega after he painted #BlackLivesMatter on his car.
Wallace made the TV circuit, bringing his story of being targeted for racial harassment before American TV audiences. Anyone who doubted that this event was a hate crime, because the last couple of “nooses” found were not actually nooses, were “simple-minded people afraid of change.”
Bubba got a parade on the track.

The FBI investigated the noose and found that it wasn’t a noose and especially wasn’t a hate crime directed at Wallace. The noose in question was a loop tied in the end of the garage door pull. Every garage door had a similar loop and the one in Wallace’s bay had been there, on security camera, since late last year.
#nascarnoose solved. These images are all from the garages at Talladega SuperSpeedway.

Wallace responded to the FBI findings by saying the loop was “a straight-up noose” and “whether tied in 2019, or whatever, it was a noose.” Al Sharpton came to his defense, bringing all the integrity of the Tawana Brawley case with him.
Bubba Wallace impugned the character of NASCAR, other drivers and their crews, the fans, and the good people of Alabama. He even got the Governor of Alabama to criticize the people of her state in a rush to judgment.
On a side note: the things I would give to see on governor say “The last several of these noose incidents have turned out to be misunderstandings of innocuous items, I do not believe the residents of my state are racists, let us wait for the FBI to finish their investigation before I condemn my fellow [state residents].”
This is the same stuff other blogs have covered. What I want to get into is why this happened, or why I believe it happened.
Consider that this is his pinned tweet.
There is only 1 driver from an African American background at the top level of our sport..I am the 1. You're not gonna stop hearing about "the black driver" for years. Embrace it, accept it and enjoy the journey..

Clearly identity politics is part of his marketing ploy.
Wallace won the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series in 2014, came in 2nd at Daytona in 2018, he came in 3rd at the Brickyard in 2018, and 14th at Talladega. He was the 2010 rookie of the year and is now ranked 21st in the Nascar Cup Series.
His career seems to be trending downward. Richard Petty has no tolerance for losers. If Bubba was the victim of a hate crime, he’d be untouchable for at least another year or two. He couldn’t be fired by Petty Motorsports without having the excuse that he was being silenced or marginalized or something.
He might even pick up additional sponsors.
Considerer the case of Danica Patrick. She did not make a lot of NASCAR fans happy. She was a good racer in Indy but not in NASCAR. She had zero wins, seven top tens, one pole position, her best finish was 24th place, and she ended her career with a rank of 47.
A big deal was made about her being a woman in NASCAR but her record wasn’t all that impressive. If she was a dude named Dan, her record would not have made her the spokesperson for GoDaddy. So what did? Her jubblies in those infamous GoDaddy commercials.
If you want to race with the boys and be treated like one of the boys, you don’t use your girls to get sponsorships and recognition that is way above your rank.
NASCAR fans had little patience for this.
Bubba seems to have gone down the same path. He’s not the best driver. He’s the black driver, and when he starts to slip to the back of the pack, it’s not his driving skills but his skin color that he’s going to use to get back out in front of the camera.
Maybe I’m being aggressively cynical but it seems like Bubba needed a way to keep his career going without a top ten finish at Talladega and the current zeitgeist and a garage door pull provided that like manna from heaven.
First the Mob Rules, then the Mob Investigates. You can imagine the results.
What started Tuesday as a missing-persons investigation morphed over the course of several hours as tensions about police treatment ran high and rumors spread online.
By nightfall, three people — including two 14-year-olds — had been shot, a house was set on fire, and police had fired tear gas and pepper spray on some members of a scattered crowd of hundreds who’d gathered outside a Milwaukee house where police earlier conducted an investigation into two missing teenage girls.
3 shot, house set on fire at scene of investigation into missing Milwaukee girls
What in the name of all angels happened? And how the hell everything escalated out of control?
The two girls had not been considered critical missing and did not meet the criteria for an Amber Alert, Grant said.
The crowd that gathered Tuesday near the police investigation in the 2100 block of North 40th Street was a mix of neighbors observing the situation, people expressing frustration with police and activists who’d marched in Milwaukee’s racial justice protests.
Some wanted to take the investigation into their own hands. Others joined the melee to express their grievances with police violence in general.
“Hell, I have watched every episode of Law & Orders Special Victims Unit. I am better than these cops here! Move aside porker!”
The police actually had to protect the home from the mob and they did for several hours. After the investigation by detectives was finished, they left.
The crowd then surged toward the house, as some in the group wanted to look for evidence that supported the rumors of sex trafficking. Some broke into the house, while others smashed the windows of a vehicle parked on the property.
And those would be the people who faithfully watched at least 10 seasons of CSI.
Groups of people also began an effort to look for the girls in nearby residences.
I am sure all of them had properly obtained search warrants, otherwise they would be acting like members of a police state, right?
Around 5:45 p.m., people set a couch, a vehicle and a house on fire, Morales said. Fire crews were on the scene to extinguish the fires.
Because nothing says JUSTICE! like arson and the destruction of possible evidence.
And after that, bricks, bottles, rubber bullets and tear gas. Plus people were shot by other assholes for reason still unknow.
Oh yes, the cops located the girls, there is an investigation ongoing about their temporary disappearance. And no, the mob did not solve the crime nor found the girls.

All is well in New York City. #DefundNYPD
Stolen from 90 Miles
It is Florida the one out of control! We are all gonna die down here!
NYC politicians have lost control of the city. One day a homeless man is set on fire in Manhattan another day a man is knifed in the head, all on the heels of 125 shootings in one month. @NYCMayor @CoreyinNYC Take a bow you created this, now own it. pic.twitter.com/UqtDVHcuc3

This is your future with Gun Control and the penalization of Self-Defense. This violence makes hurricanes a polite nuisance and worth enduring so one can live in our State.
But them New Yorkers are our betters, right? We are just Cracker and dumb Latinos and swamp Blacks down here that need an injection of Northern Culture so our lives can improve.
Wisconsin State Senator gets his ass kicked by “Peaceful Protesters.”
I took this pic- it got me assaulted & beat up. Punched/kicked in the head, neck, ribs. Maybe concussion, socked in left eye is little blurry, sore neck & ribs. 8-10 people attacked me. Innocent people are going to get killed. Capitol locked- stuck in office.Stop violence nowPlz! pic.twitter.com/Zw2hdfYG66

I have the feeling this is the same crowd that took down the statue of Hans Christian Heg. But this is what happens when in the name of your politics, you let feral ‘protesters” roam free: You become part of their menu.
I bet Timmy never thought he was going to get bopped… by girls!

Emotional Terrorist hates me refusing to be a hostage.
Twitter has been full of material. The lady in the thread appears to be a full Stay-At-Home-Till-Vaccine-Is-Found proponent. She claims to have a immunity-disorder that sent her to the ICU at least once for several days the last time she caught a flu and has not left her condo property since mid march. Let’s assume she is telling us the truth, still is not a reason why people should not resume a normal life, but she disagrees and seems to despise a bit those who disagree.

It sucks to be her, but the responsibility for her health lies on her alone. and not millions of strangers that still need to live their lives, eat, pay bills and share with others in society. To demand that we should be incarcerated because of her plight is a selfish lunacy brought about a false sense of power because she can use her sickness as a pity weapon.
We simply do not waste pity on emotional terrorists.
