I was arguing a bit with somebody in the Twiterverse about the use of masks.  First he/she used the appeal to emotion to justify why should I be forced to wear a mask. It did not go well because after he/she informed me they were essential! medical workers who were already infected!(ZOMG) and she did not want them to die because people were not wearing a mask. I had to point to the obvious problem here: If they were already infected, the mask wasn’t much of help, right? he/she finally and somewhat admitted the mask is not perfect  (which is true, at best it may reduce the viral load projected by somebody infected and reduce some the intake for somebody not infected. Hell, I even conceded that in that protection sense, a face shield is better than a mask.

My final point was simple: They are trying to force an illegal mandate a medical prophylactic measure that is at best suspect but they are passing it as effective 100%. We are being sold a line of BS for political reasons, not health concerns and that is why I object to all this effing Health Theater.

I concocted a couple of obscure memes of my own as reply.

The first one is a well known and recognized doctor from the middle of the 20th century who studied many sicknesses and human anomalies in subjects according to the law: Josef Mengele.

The second one is also done with the full support of the government, the US government:  Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment.

So, sorry if I have a natural allergy to blindly obey health mandates from government. History has proven them rather deadly  when they put their mitts in the process.

And here is the kicker: I do understand that I have comorbidities that can make me not enjoy a bout of Wuhan V so I do wear a mask and stay the fuck away from people (I have been doing that for a long time, anyway) but because I made the informed choice to do so and not because they are gonna send cop after me if I don’t so.

That is the whole crux of the matter for yours truly.

I do believe if Civil War actually breaks out, there will be a hell of a lot less remorse in our side that I would expect.

Pair Charged With Voter Fraud Allegedly Submitted Thousands of Fraudulent Applications on Behalf of Homeless People

Carlos Antonio De Bourbon Montenegro — also known as Mark Anthony Gonsalves — was set to be arraigned Tuesday in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom on 18 felony counts of voter fraud, 11 felony counts of procuring a false or forged instrument, two felony counts of perjury and one felony count of conspiracy to commit voter fraud, along with nine misdemeanor counts of interference with a prompt transfer of a completed affidavit, according to the District Attorney’s Office.

Montenegro, 53, allegedly submitted more than 8,000 fraudulent voter registration applications between July and October, as well as allegedly falsifying names, addresses and signatures on nomination papers under penalty of perjury to run for mayor in Hawthorne.

So one guy can commit voter fraud with 8,000 names to win a mayoral seat in a small town in California, but this bing done to unseat Trump in a couple of swing states is an impossible, unthinkable, conspiracy theory?

Remember, modern laws/law enforcement is about revenue generation not maintaining a high quality of life place to live. Busting business and middle class people for masks is much more lucrative than dealing with homeless crack addicts.

This is the essence of Third World tyranny.  Low level criminal scum are free to pray upon the productive.  The productive working people must cower in fear from capricious but heavy-handed enforcement of arbitrary rules.

When some vagrant can shoot heroin in a public park then shoplift from a small businesses without fear but you are worried that you will go to jail and be fined for having a birthday party for your kid, our transition into a Banana Republic is assured.

Old farts will remember the use and abuse of the word back when cults were the #1 enemy of the US. And grant you, we had some really shitty ones like the Jim Jones’ Socialists People’s Temple with the mass suicides and murders in Guyana, but for the most part, lots of groups tagged with the cult brand were just regular folks who differed in their way of praying from what was accepted by the DotGov and other members of society. There were stories about people in these cults, usually from well-to-do families, that were forcefully rescued (kidnapped) by hired hands and taken to Deprogrammers who through different techniques (Room 101 anyone?) would “delete” the teachings of the Cult and make them members of normal society again.

The first thing you have to understand abut deprogramming is that the intended target will be confined against his/her wishes. Individual rights need to be expunged to “heal you” but don’t worry: You are sick and they know better. Freedom is a luxury.

Deprogramming does not work without heavy coercion. Your freedom of movement is eliminated, your right top speak freely is prohibited. You will be subjected to interrogation and confrontations because you may worship differently. You have no rights so do not claim them. You are there to be broken down and “rebuilt.”

Now, all I just mentioned was done by private individuals paid by worried families who thought their loved one was going to start chugging Kool Aid with cyanide. Some less-than scrupulous people preyed on those fears and committed all kinds of crimes, federal and state, in order to cash big time under the banner of “saving people from cults.” I seem to vaguely recall a case of two where people were prosecuted for doing the deprogramming thing, but I do not remember specifics.

So that is what you can expect from deprogramming as the asshole above suggests. And there is always the old example of ultimate deprogramming when the Democrats are in the White House.

Sure as hell those Branch Davidians got cured! Right?
