MSNBC puts out the most disgustingly dishonest, racist, and anti-Semitic attack on DeSantis possible.

Florida governor accused of playing politics with Covid vaccine

Florida’s governor was slow to respond to the pandemic and his Covid-19 vaccine distribution plan has been marked by chaos, but critics say he’s been quick to recognize the political gold in those precious doses.

This is factually false.

Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, ignored federal guidelines and prioritized getting senior citizens — one of Florida’s most potent voting blocs — vaccinated first.

When Holocaust survivors and Cuban survivors of the Bay of Pigs debacle — revered members of two other key Florida voting blocs — got their first shots, DeSantis made sure he was there for the news conferences.

Holy fucking shit!

Did you catch that?

“The old Cubans and JOOOOOOOOOSSSSS!!! Are hogging the vaccine.”

The federal guidelines are fucking bullshit.  Let’s make that perfectly clear.

Here are two charts from Business Insider that show why.

Take a look at the three bars on the right of each chart.  The over 65 age demographic gets COVID the most and dies from it at the highest rate.

Logic dictates that the over 65 demographic is who you would focus on vaccinating.  That is exactly who DeSantis did vaccinate, that’s why Florida has a low death rate despite having a higher elderly population than most states.

He literally did the exact opposite of what Cuomo did, which was to commit senicide.

And now the governor stands accused of using the Covid-19 vaccine to reward powerful political supporters and developers by setting up pop-up vaccination sites in planned communities they developed and where GOP voters predominate.

Responding to recent criticism from both Republican and Democrats in Manatee and Charlotte counties, both south of Tampa, where one site was set up last week and another began dispensing doses on Wednesday, DeSantis said local lawmakers should be more grateful

DeSantis said that his “seniors first strategy” zeroes in on retirement communities that are willing to help organize vaccination events and that Manatee County has trailed other parts of the state in getting needles into the arms of residents ages 65 and older.

The governor said the state had set up similar sites at the Kings Point community in Palm Beach County, Sun City Center in Hillsborough County, and The Villages retirement community northwest of Orlando.

DeSantis is setting up vaccination sites in retirement communities to vaccinate the over 65 demographic faster.

MSNBC and Democrats are telling you that he’s doing this because the elderly vote Republican and that his motivations are entirely political.

Go to the most susceptible to COVID demographic, because they have difficulty traveling, and make sure they get vaccinated.

If DeSantis was a Democrat, this would be hailed as the most genius political idea in the history of political ideas.

Since he’s a Republican, they have to attack his plan as selfish and partisan.

There was no response from the DeSantis administration when NBC News reached out for comment, but on Thursday the governor was in Largo in Pinellas County at another hurriedly arranged pop-up vaccination operation.

There DeSantis boasted about vaccinating the 2 millionth senior citizen in Florida, a 94-year-old Korean war veteran named Vern Cummings whose vaccination was broadcast live on FOX News.

How dare the Governor vaccinate somebody’s great-grandfather on FOX news.  What a monster.

Florida, according to the latest NBC News tally, has reported 1.84 million Covid-19 infections and nearly 30,000 deaths due to the coronavirus, some of the worst numbers in the nation.

Most of those infections and deaths came after DeSantis, a staunch Trump supporter, claimed victory over the virus during a White House visit in April and reopened the state over the objections of health experts.

Let us look at some state data, shall we?

New Jersey: 256 per 100,000 people
Population: 8.9 million residents

New York: 236
Population: 19.4 million

Massachusetts: 228
Population: 6.9 million

Florida: 137
Population: 21.5 million

Florida is ranked 27th in the nation.  Below the median COVID death rate.

To say that it has “some of the worst numbers in the nation” is factually wrong and can only be given as numbers without context.

Media darling Andrew Cuomo is under state and federal investigation for his elderly COVID death rate and coverup.

DeSantis, having one of the largest elderly populations in the country did a far better job and being attacked for it.

But to be attacked for it while saying that giving old Cubans and Jews the vaccine was done for political expedience is just that much more grotesque.

O’Sullivan’s military wants you killed by a drone

I am going to reference an article from one of the most racist websites on the internet, The Root.

Democrats Are Stuck With a Republican Party Rife With Conspiracy Theorists, Anarchists and Terrorist Sympathizers

Pam Keith, a U.S. Navy veteran who ran out of Florida’s 18th Congressional District as the Democratic nominee, told The Root that Democrats should give up on working with Republicans as if they are operating in good faith and have shown that they will be as corrupt and obstructionist as Trump.

“What they’re saying is we don’t care that he broke the law,” said Keith, who also hosts the politics show But What It Really Means. “He’s our guy and we’re with our guy and there’s nothing you can say to make us turn on our guy. He’s above the law. He’s above the Constitution. He is above the well-being of the United States because he’s our mechanism to retaining power. That is the absolute definition of totalitarian dictatorship. We don’t care what he does—especially if what he does hurts you,” she said.

“You cannot live in a diverse country when the paradigm is oppressed or be oppressed. That’s what’s going on in South Sudan right now. There’s only one way: bloody conflict. The only way a country like ours survives is through mutual agreement to set a standard. That’s what the Constitution is. That’s what the rule of law is. If you don’t have that, then there’s no incentive to peacefully allow the other sides to exercise power.”

Let me remind you that Pam Keith is a JAG officer, not a combat officer.

Also, everything she is saying here is wrong, except that she hopes the Democrats do not work with Republicans at all.

They are using Trump as the excuse to not even give lip service to the idea of compromise and instead will stomp their agenda onto America’s face with a boot.

But it gets worse.

Kyle Bibby, national campaign manager at Common Defense and a former Marine Corps Infantry officer, told The Root that had a foreign entity engaged in an attack similar to the Jan. 6 coup attempt or rallied the support of the main culprit thereafter, the U.S. military would have responded with an offensive strike or at the minimum stiff economic penalties. But he added that the militias and Trump supporters who were there are ultimately not so much the issue as is the Republican Party that empowers them.

When asked about the violent insurrectionists, Bibby said, “If they were in Afghanistan, we would’ve hit them. Either a raid, drop a bomb on them, whatever it is.” He continued, “But the organizations that are funding this and who are backing this that are creating the political movement behind this are organizations like Fox News, Breitbart, One America News Network, and the Republican Party. If these organizations existed in another country, we would be sanctioning them. We would be seizing their assets for inciting terroristic threats against an American ally or against U.S. interests.”

A USMC officer thinks that the people to stormed to Capitol should have been killed with airstrikes and American news outlets to the Right of Pravda should be sanctioned or driven out of existence.

Malcolm Nance, a national security expert and author of the upcoming book, They Want to Kill Americans: The Armed Militias, The Fanatical Terrorists, and The Deranged Ideology of the Coming Trump Insurgency, told The Root that not only is the Republican Party behaving like a terror group, he predicted soon after the Charlottesville, Va., attacks in 2017 that Trump’s use of insurrectionist language—“stand down and stand by”—essentially would become a white supremacist call to arms akin to kind of terrorist extremism he saw as a military intelligence officer.

“If Trump wins, these unofficial paramilitaries, the Proud Boys, the Boogaloo Boys, the state militias, all these other groups, are essentially going to become semi-official Brownshirts [the original paramilitary of Germany’s Nazi Party] of the Trump campaign,” he said. “If Trump loses, these people are going to become the Iraq insurgents. They’re going to go underground. They’re going to be furious and, over time, with the Trump campaign leading as the political wing of this insurgency. With a president in exile, those people will resort to armed violence, political standoffs, and terrorism.”

Now that Trump has lost that election, they are going to be the Iraq insurgents. The Republican Party will view themselves as Sinn Fein and the Republican base will view themselves as the white Catholics who think they’ve got to support the IRA.”

Go study your history of what the Britsh did in Northern Ireland.  My God that was some oppressive bullshit.

I guess that oath to the US Constitution means nothing.

Officers with this mentality are the ones who will survive the Biden purge.

The ones who say “you know, a bunch of protesters going into the Capitol shouldn’t be killed with JDAMs and Hellfires because they have civil rights” are going to get rolled out for being White Supremacists.  Probably with discharges that prevent them from getting jobs and buying guns as civilians.

We have ex-military who are suggesting that Trump supporters, all 74 million, are at the same level as Iraqi insurgents or Sein Fein.

That means troops with rifles on American streets setting curfews like in Bagdhad or Belfast.

Oh wait, that’s DC right now…

Just wait until it spreads.

Also, I am a sucker for history and tradition.  It might be time to replace the guns I lost in that ice storm.  I’m thinking an AR-180 clone and a Hi-Power.

The long knives are against Cuomo’s back

https://twitter.com/Breaking911/status/1362766653629546496

This is from a NY State Democrat Assemblywoman:

And a NY State Senator:

They all could have come out early on and prevented Cuomo from committing senicide, but it was too useful to them to have him be the anti-Trump on TV.

Now that Biden won, it’s time to take out Cuomo as a rival for the limelight.

Make no mistake, this is not a search for the truth, they could all make this go away if they wanted to.

This is a coordinated assassination of Cuomo’s career.

I’m happy to watch Cuomo be taking out by the long knives, and am hoping beyond hope to see him get frog-marched out of the Governor’s Mansion by the FBI or at least NY State Police.

But nevertheless, I know that this is a politically motivated hit job of the highest order, because for all of this anti-Cuomo evidence to come out now means that they all knew about it before and did nothing with it because it was political expedient to cover it up.

This is how retail in a city dies, especially small business

From the East Bay Times:

Large retailers are paying for police protection in Oakland
Walgreens, Target join Home Depot in requesting dedicated officers

In an apparent effort to reduce crime inside and outside their stores, Walgreens and Target are joining Home Depot in paying overtime to Oakland police officers for some protection.

Walgreens and Target last month asked the Oakland Police Department to provide officers at their locations, police spokesman Paul Chambers confirmed. The department, which in 2019 allowed officers to work overtime at Home Depot, agreed.

At an hourly overtime rate of $91.43 plus a 15.5% fee the city charges for officers’ service, Home Depot has paid out $2.1 million since the arrangement began in March 2019, according to Chambers.

That is a lot of money for a big company to pay out for security.

That’s not the only consideration.

Pamela Drake, the former director of the Lakeshore Business Improvement District and member of the Coalition For Police Accountability, expressed some skepticism about the deal.

“This seems like a screwy arrangement,” Drake said. “If something happens, which is inevitable, who is going to be liable for that bad response?”

While officers are working outside their normal shifts for the detail, “they are not under the direction or supervision of the store’s management,” Chambers noted. He said they still have to abide by police department rules and are supervised by command staff.

Still, the arrangement blurs lines between private and public policing, and Drake said she also wonders whether it is right to have armed police officers securing the stores.

“Whether we should have armed people at these stores, I think that is something that should be a public discussion,” she said, adding that she hopes the police commission looks into it.

The anti-cop, pro-criminal Leftists are clearly going to try and put the businesses on the hook if a criminal is shot by police while providing overtime security.

Big-box retailers can afford this, for now.  This means criminals will target the smaller, independent retailers that can’t afford security, driving them out of business.

The big-box retailers are also probably considering closing some locations.  I would.  Look at the balance sheet of which stores have the lowest retail revenue to security costs and shut them down.

The police are unable to handle the amount of crime on the streets so are hired for post-shift security work, which increases costs and now you have a death spiral.

These cities are doing a bang-up job of making it impossible to do business and live a decent quality of life there.

It amazes me that these blue bubbles have so much political power when inside of them they are all third-world failed states.

Stupid Open Carry is Stupid

If you make the stealing of your sidearm easier than a purse snatching, you are a certified idiot.

“But Muh Rights!”
Criminals like politicians do not give two royal fucks about your rights. Haven’t you noticed that yet?

“You are victim blaming/shaming.”
And you are damn right. That “victim” has not only provided criminals with a free weapon but probably set back Open Carry rights for those states that still do not have it. This video will be used by the Opposition as example why OC should not be legal.

“You are just an Open Carry hater.”
No, I am a Gun Carrying Moron hater. If you can’t figure out that your gun may be snatched and you Open Carry without a good retention holster and a good belt, you are a Gun Carrying Moron.

In case the tweet is removed, here is a copy of the video.

TDS New York: de Blasio cancels ice rinks contracts managed by Trump Orgs.

Skaters arriving at Central Park’s two ice rinks are in for a cold awakening next week — the rinks, which are both managed by the Trump Organization, are being shuttered by City Hall to punish the former president for the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot, The Post has learned.

The Trump Organization says its last day of operating the iconic Wollman Rink and the smaller Lasker Rink at the park’s northern end will be Sunday.

The rink contracts had been set to expire in April, but Mayor de Blasio has moved to ice Trump out a month early, effective Feb. 26.

Trump has been impeached from operating the ice rink,” a de Blasio spokesman had said Jan. 31 in announcing the concession terminations for Wollman Rink, along with Lasker Rink, the Central Park Carousel and Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx.

Trump freeze-out: De Blasio puts former president’s NYC rink contracts on ice

Let’s face it, this does not hurt Trump but it is done to score Media Points with the Liberal Lynching Mob. You don’t want to have business with Trump? Fine. hell, de Blasio’s minion would have come out on top and with grace by simply saying that since Trump is no longer a resident (and you lost that taxing revenue), it makes sense to have the contracts assigned to some New York company that may have struggled with the ‘Rona-economic recession (that you created with your policies BTW) rather than somebody who left the city for greener pastures.

But no, the dumb asses at the Mayor’s office had to win another TDS badge for their political sash and ended up looking pettier than the normal level of NYC assholery.
