The push for the D.C. Green Zone (A.K.A. Fort Pelosi) to get permanent Military Unit.
Roger G. aske me an interesting question a couple of days ago: Since defunding the police was the plate du jour, would the Democrats defund the Capitol Police?
Even thou according to sources, the Democrats are trying to distance themselves from that idea because it hurt them in the elections, I believe that they secretly like the principle if it brings forward a way to control cities by fear and the possibly the creation of a Federal Police that would patrol at a local level.
But for the particular case of D.C. I told him the following:
I believe they would. Green Zones always expand, never contract. And they will need more NG for duties, maybe even a new military unit dedicated exclusively to DC duties. Make it MPs to bullshit the average joe.
A task force charged with making recommendations to boost congressional security after a deadly Jan. 6 pro-Trump mob assault on Capitol Hill has proposed establishing a permanent military presence ready to go at a moment’s notice in Washington, D.C.
The security review, led by retired Army Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré, who ran military relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina, recommended establishing a permanent National Guard quick reaction force, or QRF, for all of D.C.
Task Force Calls for Permanent National Guard Force to Protect DC.
If the walls and barb wire around the Capitol is Fort Pelosi, the n this new unit should be called Nancy’s Praetorian Guards. It would make her moist.
And any Republican legislator (or politician for that matter) that still believes he/she should make nice with the Democrats, deserves the long prison sentence he or she will get for committing dumbassery in the First Degree (Believing he will be spared).
What did I say about the Left destroying the right to a fair trial by a jury of your peers?
Update on the jury selection process in the Chauvin/George Floyd trial.
Judge is now questioning a 19-year-old man about serving on the George Floyd jury. He seems terrified to be there, wrote that he does not want to serve on the jury.

Juror #10 asks not to serve on the George Floyd jury due to safety concerns of becoming a target. Judge dismisses him for these and work reasons.

BREAKING: Juror #8 says he is concerned rioters will attack his house if he serves on the jury and his name is released in George Floyd trial

I don’t blame them for feeling this way.
The problem is that means that the only people who would be willing to sit on a jury are those who are prejudiced on the side of the mob.
This isn’t any more just than a mob lynching, only in this case the mob gets the jury to do the lynching under the color of law.
Florida Legislature 2021: SB 498 – Safety of Religious Institutions clears another hurdle.
Short and sweet. It went to hearing with the Senate’s Criminal Justice committee where three substitutes (amendments) were presented. Two of them were basically castrating the idea or adding unnecessary hurdles and they were reported unfavorable (denied). The other one eliminates the requirement of posting the prohibition against concealed carriers citizens. Marion Hammer for the NRA and Luis Valdez for GOA were present and supporting the bill. And the usual suspects were there against the bill, but again, nobody from Moms Demand spoke.
My question is: Why is the committee chair a Democrat? He did not like the bill even though he made the appropriate and necessary caring noises about the 2A
Florida Legislature 2021: SB 1932 – Restoration of Civil and Firearm Rights.
General Bill by Perry
Restoration of Civil and Firearm Rights: Requiring that a person who has lost his or her civil rights and rights to purchase, own, transfer, or use firearms or ammunition based on a felony conviction for an offense other than murder, attempted murder, a violent felony offense, or a felony sexual offense have such disqualifications terminated upon the completion of all terms of his or her sentence; defining the term “violent felony offense”, etc.
And somebody finally dropped this long overdue grenade. We allow violent felons to vote but non-violent offenders cannot recover their right to Keep and Bear Arms? Please explain that to the People Mr. Liberal Congresscritter.
Be ready for the avalanche of lies from the Media.
And of course I am in full support of this bill.
Texas Chest Rig.
I wanted to say this was the kit LawDog used on his days as LEO, but he would probably don a surgical mask, fly across the country and punch me in the mouth for saying so.
The only saving grace is that it is not in green-cammo-black-coyote-tan or any other tactical color. I don’t buy some gear because it screams THIS GUY HAS GUNS! from a mile and a half away.
