In the wake of the Derek Chauvin verdict, Black Lives Matter activists on Twitter are now calling for hunting down and killing George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who was acquitted of murdering Trayvon Martin in 2013.

Apparently they don’t remember what happened last time someone tried to attack Zimmerman. Trayvon Martin was killed.

As stated in the article, somebody coming after Zimmerman should heed what happened to Sainted Travon ,The Fake Martyr.  Plus I believe that George may have his toy collection augmented since the trial just a skosh.

And announcing you want people coming after him to kill him just made his Self Defense case in court for anybody that approaches him with evil intent and ends up in a hospital basement waiting for the coroner.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot: I believe he would not be alone but sharing nearspace with Roof Koreans, Roof Cubans, Roof Haitians and pretty much anything that is part and parcel of the Florida Shooting community.

Teenagers have been having fights including fights involving knives for eons. We do not need police to address these situations by showing up to the scene & using a weapon against one of the teenagers. Y’all need help. I mean that sincerely.

Yes, people have been settling scores with melee weapons since the dawn of man.  What separated civilization from savage law-of-the-jungle life was a system of government that stopped this.

The oldest rules of jurisprudence we have on record prohibit murder in the streets.

Saying law enforcement should let people settle scores in the street with knives is an end to civil society and takes us straight back into primeval life.

BLM isn’t against police violence, it’s against the order of civilization.

The day you become an US Citizen, you are told and (it is no lie) that your certificate of naturalization is very important and that you must keep it in a secure location.

There are transactions and legal processes that demand proof you are a bonafide US citizen. For the US born, just presenting a Birth Certificate will more than likely be enough, but for us it is that that little piece of paper above which you were warned not to be bandied about and which will establish proof you are legal.

So the solution to show citizenship status without having to show the certificate is to get a passport as soon as possible and then bury the certificate in a wall next to the body of that nosy neighbor (Just kidding, I have a lake, remember?) or place it in a safe deposit box or, if you are smart, give it to the missus for safekeeping because your memory sucks specially after not touching the document for 2 decades and she still has every Valentines card you  given her in 3 decades (plus) of marriage. The passport is accepted everywhere as proof of citizenship and is more portable too.

Now, one thing I stupidly did not do was to renew my passport before it expired and the renewal fees skyrocketed. So, I get the news I have to go to the driver license service center to renew the card because I am still outside the Real ID net and to bring proof of Citizenship,  I have an expired blue book of happiness which is not valid for squat.

But from early age I was trained under the principle of having back ups, specially for documents (One is None and Two is One, right?) so I decided to look up online and see if I could get a certified copy of the certificate as back up. Hey, you never know what could happen from home to the DMV and back, right? Why take a chance and just have a back up.

And I can get a back up, provided I shell out $555. to the US Government.

That is $40 less that a brand new Glock 19 from Bud’s or 55 PMAGS on sale at Tombstone Tactical (I just got their email).  Of course, imagine all the legal shit I can get into if I lose that paper and suddenly need it and no need to mention the amount of painful suffering I would get from a very pissed off wife.

I am going to be a paranoid wreck from the moment I go to the DMV and till I return and hide that thing again.

And yes, I made an appointment to get a new passport. I am gonna get me one of them little ID Card passports since I don’t plan leaving the US to anything overseas ever.  And it is cheaper to boot.

Not a single person in the concealed carry community thinks that if you call the cops and they arrive on the scene, it’s okay to then try and shoot the people attacking you, especially one that turns around and runs away from you.

We all know that shooting a person who is trying to get away from you (in this case, the girl in the pink) is not a threat and therefore not a legitimate target.

If you draw and they run, the fight is over.  Shoot them in the back and you are a murderer.

Do that in front of a cop and be prepared to get shot yourself.

These people continue to think that SYG is a licence to kill whoever you want under any circumstance, then they project that stupid onto us.

I’m done arguing that the details of individual shoots make them good shoots or not.  It is utterly pointless.  These people’s heads have been filled with so much mendacity, rage, and hate that any rational, fact-based argument will fall on deaf ears and closed minds.

I’m really doing my best to ignore the social media on this because it’s so wrong and so bad.  So many people calling the Mikayah Bryant white people’s revenge for Derek Chauvin and shit like that.

But one Tweet did stand out at me for sheer insanity.

It’s not an appropriate use of force to shoot an assailant with a knife from stabbing someone because that stabbing might not be lethal?

Fine.

I’m not even going to try to argue against that.

This is where these people are and it’s not worth arguing, it’s a waste of energy.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A high-ranking Norfolk Police officer who was found donating to the defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse has been fired from the police department.

Kyle Rittenhouse is the man charged with the murder of two Black Lives Matter protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last August.

According to the Guardian newspaper on Friday, Sgt. William Kelly, who served as the executive officer of NPD’s internal affairs division, made an anonymous $25 donation to Rittenhouse’s defense in September. However Kelly used an official email address linked to himself, the Guardian reported.

At first it looks like he is being extremely punished for using governmental resources, but truthfully is not that simple:

In a release sent Tuesday, Norfolk City Manager Chip Filer said he has accepted the recommendation of Chief Boone to relieve Kelly of his duty.

“I have reviewed the results of the internal investigation involving Lt. William Kelly.  Chief Larry Boone and I have concluded Lt. Kelly’s actions are in violation of City and departmental policies. His egregious comments erode the trust between the Norfolk Police Department and those they are sworn to serve. The City of Norfolk has a standard of behavior for all employees, and we will hold staff accountable.”

Before this incident, Jason Nguyen a reporter with KTVX news station out of Salt Lake City actually went to a paramedic’s home to “interview him” about his $10 donation to Kyle Rittenhouse’s defense fund.  Astute readers will promptly figure this was nothing more than Doxxing under the cover of news interest.

You either cannot give a damn if your name is associated with a less-than-celebre cause or we may end up having to institute our own Hawala networks to bypass this kind of breaches.

Or simply we need to shake off our reticence and start playing with their book… and then some.
