It was a trap and this CEO fell for it

CEO who said dress-wearing male teen looked like an ‘idiot’ for prom ousted from job

A CEO’s assertion that a dress-wearing male teen looked like an “idiot” prior to prom has caused his ouster from his Tennessee job.

Sam Dalton is now the former head of telemedicine company VisuWell, thanks to a viral video of his interactions with Franklin High School senior Dalton Stevens.

The businessman countered by saying the video doesn’t capture the impetus for his approaching the teens.

“[This was] about obnoxious, loud behavior by this group of teens,” he told Newsweek Tuesday. “[My party] had just sat down for dinner at this restaurant that we frequent, and I was returning from the restroom when I was presented with their loud cursing. Making it about the dress was their idea and they edited out most of the exchange.”

Mr. Dalton added that he harbors “no ill will towards anyone or their personal choices, so long as it does not harm me or my family.”

Here is the video that was posted online:

Here is a prom picture of the boy in the dress.

I feel bad for this CEO, he didn’t realize he fell for a trap.

This is how the woke mob operates.  This is how they collect scalps.  It is cry-bullying.  They play the victim all over social media to take someone else down.

It is how they exert their power.

Back when I was in high school 20 years ago, schools had rules about what kids could wear to prom.  Then the LGBT brigade made a boy wearing a dress or a girl wearing a tux a thing and so those sorts of traditionalist dress codes were done away with in the name of progressivism.  Those weren’t the only limitations.  Trust me, if I could have worn a powder blue, ruffle front tux I would have.

This boy picked the ugliest, looks like a cheap hooker, dress he could find in the hope that he would bait a normie into saying something that he could use to get them canceled.

When he wasn’t getting enough attention, they started acting in a way that would guarantee attention.  Probably hoping that the hotel would kick them out, so they could turn around and say “the hotel kicked an LGBT prom couple out because they are [insert identity] phobic.”

The hotel wasn’t dumb enough to fall for it but this CEO was.  And he lost.

If you see something like this where you live, just leave.  Get up, walk away, and leave.  Some woke LGBT cry-bullies are baiting you.

If you see a humongous land-whale in an impossibly tiny street-walking hooker dress, it’s the same thing.  That’s a fat feminist baiting you into finding her unattractive and giving her a look that will allow her to go all fat pride in your face.

If you see something that looks out of sorts, just walk away without attracting any attention to yourself, it’s a trap.

The best advice I can give you when it comes to Wokenistias is straight from Prince Humperdink:

I always think everything could be a trap, which is why I’m still alive.

Why NYC desperately needs Concealed Carry

After a third asshole going to the morgue for having a poor victim selection, incidents like this would become a rarity rather than the recurrent affair.

I am finally starting to be optimistic about this bill becoming law.

And I reckon the Lord will be saying: “About time you attended Mass. It has been a spell. Now do de sign of the cross and sit yer butt in that pew over there.

I might even take Communion.

Book Recommendation: The Painted Word.

The Painted Word: Wolfe, Tom: 8601300194813: Amazon.com: Books

I forget how I got to this little book (112 pages) but I had the most fun you legally reading the Tom Wolfe deconstructing the snobbery behind Modern Art. In modern blog terms, he fisks the living daylights of of sacred “artiste” crowds with the snark of the gods.

“First you do everything possible to make sure your world is antibourgeois, that it defies bourgeois tastes, that it mystifies the mob, the public, that it outdistances the insensible middle-class multitudes by light-years of subtlety and intellect—and then, having succeeded admirably, you ask with a sense of See-what-I-mean? outrage: look, they don’t even buy our products! (Usually referred to as “quality art.”)”

It is glorious.

The inmates are in charge of the asylum

I saw Miguel’s post I need a vacation from people.

In it he posts this Tweet:

That reminded me of some articles I had read in preparation for another post:

Over 50% Of Liberal, White Women Under 30 Have A Mental Health Issue. Are We Worried Yet?

A 2020 Pew Research study reveals that over half of white, liberal women have been diagnosed with a mental health condition at some point. Does this mean there’s a correlation between progressive ideas and mental health?

The Washington Times had, even more, to say on this.

White liberals more likely to have a mental health condition

Sixty-two percent of Whites who classify themselves as “very liberal” or “liberal” have been told by a doctor they have a mental health condition, as compared to 26% of conservatives and 20% of moderates, the study found.

Young White people who identified as “very liberal” were almost one and a half times more likely to report mental health problems than those who considered themselves “liberal.”

The entire ideology “forces its followers to wallow in feelings of helplessness and victimhood,” Evie noted, as opposed to “building resiliency against hardship,” which helps combat depression.

Evie was also quick to point out liberals may also be more susceptible to “White guilt and savior narratives,” which brings them down, especially given last summer’s continued Black Lives Matter riots.

Other polls show liberals have bought into the mainstream media’s panic porn surrounding COVID-19 more than other ideologies, also causing them more stress and fear.

The vast majority of Democrats overestimate the probability of being hospitalized and dying from COVID-19, compared to other ideologies, a Gallup survey found. There’s only a 1 to 5% chance of somebody with COVID-19 having to be hospitalized, yet 41% of Democrats’ believe there’s a greater than 50% chance. Only 10% of Democrat respondents in the survey knew the correct answer.

Mask wearing is strongly tied to political alignment:

Who’s Wearing a Mask? Women, Democrats and City Dwellers

According to a Gallup poll that was conducted in mid-April, only a third of Americans said they always wore a mask or cloth face covering outside the home. Another third said they sometimes wore a mask in public, and a third reported that they never did.

About 67 percent of women said they had worn a mask outside their home, compared with 56 percent of men, according to the Gallup poll, which was based on a random sample of 2,451 adults in the United States and had a margin of error of 3 percentage points.

Of those polled by Gallup, 75 percent of Democrats said they had worn a mask in public, while 58 percent of independents and less than half of Republicans said the same.

A meta-analysis of the data is crystal clear.  There is a strong correlation between mental illness and fervent mask-wearing.

White liberals, especially white liberal women have the highest rates of mental illness, they wallow in panic porn and misery, engage in guilt-driven activism, and are strict adherents to mask mandates.

Rather than the rest of us dismissing these histrionic, neurotic people with emotional problems as nutjobs and not listen to them, they have been elevated to the paragons of behavior to emulate, i.e., wearing a piece of bedsheet over our faces in the fresh air and sunshine to ward off a virus with a 99.97% survivability rate for most people, even after vaccination, like it’s a magical talisman.

Quite literally, the insane are the ones who are setting the norms for society.

Rehashing old tactics under a favorable DC administration

Reader Dano sent me this:

CHICAGO—The city of Chicago filed a lawsuit Monday against an Indiana gun shop it says is responsible for the flow of hundreds and possibly thousands of guns into the nation’s third-largest city, making it one of the largest out-of-state sellers of guns used in crimes here.

The lawsuit against Westforth Sports Inc. of Gary, Ind., is seeking the appointment of a special master to oversee the store’s operations and assure that it abides by federal gun laws for a period of five years, as well as monetary damages.

“These eye-popping numbers are not the result of bad luck or coincidence or location,” the lawsuit says. “They are the natural and predictable outcome of a business model that ignores the federal laws and regulations that are intended to keep the public safe.”

Chicago Sues Indiana Gun Shop Over Illegal Guns

This has failed miserably in the past. You may remember Bloomberg starting a campaign targeting “bad apples” via Moms and on his own.  I seem to recall the Brady bunch going that way also and some low level organization staging protests in front of alleged bad stores.  In Miami Dade, they targeted Lou’s Police Supply with a ton of bad publicity trying to shame them by suggesting they were selling guns in a shady manner to any felon walking in, which was the dumbest accusation possible for two reasons: Lou’s sells more guns than anybody in Miami Dade county and because the place is worse than a donut shop: It is a cop hang out. My first gun in the US was bought in Lou’s.

The target of this lawsuit, besides telling Chicagoans “See me! I am doing gun prevention shit!” is to hit the store in the pocket with a frivolous lawsuit even though they know they will lose. Gun Controllers have no fiduciary common sense because they can waste the taxpayer’s money. Make it painful for them to do stuff like that and you see this idiocies disappear.

Take for example a bill still alive in the Florida Legislature: SB 1884 – Preemption of Firearms and Ammunition Regulation.

Providing that written or unwritten policies are subject to provisions allowing for recovery of damages if such policies violate specified provisions; providing that a plaintiff challenging a local government regulation concerning firearms is considered a prevailing plaintiff for certain purposes in specified circumstances, etc.

What municipalities were/are doing is to either write code or policy prohibiting something related to gun and in some cases just be an order by a superior and them when they got sued for violating pre-emption, withdraw the order before the case is brought to court.   The people bringing the lawsuit would have no standing anymore because the policy has been removed, but expenses were incurred and time was wasted. And the best part is that they can do it again at a later because they can do the same idiocy again. This bill makes them pay anyway.  And as you can imagine, the Florida Democrats hate it with a passion and are trying to delay it with amendments so it is not discussed and voted on before Friday. In fact, this amendment was introduced as I was writing this post:

The amendments made by this act shall not apply until 365 consecutive days have passed without an incident in the state in which three or more persons were killed or injured by the use of a firearm.

The misuse of the public funds for Gun Control is basic for their cause. Bloomberg is only a recent phenomenon and even hizzformerhonor of New York seems to be withdrawing from the fight. Gun Control is a minority and that is reflected in their voluntary funding so they need to funnel cash from somewhere else, namely your pockets.

I need a vacation from people.

I am usually tired of the internet by the end of April with the closure of the Florida Legislature, but add the Covid stupidity and I am actually feeling not so much for the Sweet Meteor of Death but at least a couple of EMP devices strategically placed.

Sorry if I am sparse with posting as I am also engaged in some work around the house (some my ass) and actually it is going to get a bit intense in the next 30 days or so.

And if you are thinking if I am avoiding Federal gun stuff, the answer is yes. I decided that I was going to stay local and leave the big stuff for others. But I will start sharing other bloggers’ posts that I believe have a better understanding of what’s coming.

And, of course, there are the mellow posts of J. Kb always peaceful an insightful.
