It’s entirely possible that it’s random chance, isolated incidents that mean little in the broader scheme of things. It’s also possible that the anti-Semitic attacks are part of the generalized surge in American anti-Semitism since 2016, which most experts link to the rise of Donald Trump and the alt-right movement. But perhaps the scariest possibility is that the US is becoming more like Europe, where anti-Semitic violence during military conflicts involving Israel routinely rises.

Could be random, probably Trump’s fault.

Might be America is turning into Europe, which is to say “Right Wing.”  Except that the rise of antisemitism in Europe is paralleled perfectly with the increase in Muslims migrants and the Left that supports them.  When we’ve seen violent antisemitism in Europe, it’s almost always accompanied by an “Allahu Akbar,” Palestinian flag, or keffiyeh.

Yes there is a rise in new-Nazism in Europe, but like in the US, they are a tiny fraction of the numbers of violent Leftists and Islamists.

PJ Nilaja Patterson, 43, is accused of animal cruelty over killing an iguana. But the 6-foot-3, 165-pound man argues that he was in fear for his life — and that the 3-foot green iguana was the first to resort to violence during their horrific encounter in Lake Worth Beach.

“The vicious animal got the best of Patterson and savagely bit his right arm,” say Patterson’s lawyers. The man went to the hospital and got 22 staples to close the wound caused by the “wild beast.”

Patterson’s tussle with the invasive reptile is thought to be the first time anyone has pursued a stand-your-ground claim over a deadly confrontation with an iguana.

You guys know iguanas drop by my backyard fence now and again, enough times that I have give them names and taken plenty of pics. In all my years here in South Florida, I have to admit I have never seen, read or heard of a case of a rampaging iguana attacking anybody or anything other than fruits. So my question is, what did this guy do to piss off the iguana so much it had to defend itself.  My experience with iguanas, no matter the size is that they take off if you as so much start to approach them.

Judge releases man accused of killing dog in Seattle a day after his arrest

Seattle Police arrested a man accused of kicking a dog so hard that she flew through the air and then died. At his first court appearance a day after his arrest, a judge released him on his own recognizance without bail.

According to the Seattle Police Department, a 67-year-old man was walking his dog, a Jack Russell terrier, Saturday afternoon through Courthouse Park in Pioneer Square.

The victim told police he pepper-sprayed the suspect out of fear that the suspect was going to steal his jacket. As the victim was walking away, police say the suspect “ran up behind him and kicked his dog so hard she flew into the air.”

The victim was knocked to the ground and suffered minor injuries. When he went to check on his dog, he found her dead.

Officers said the suspect fled the scene, but they took him into custody Sunday evening less than a block from the crime scene.

The 29-year-old suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of first-degree animal cruelty and second-degree attempted robbery.

The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office asked a judge to hold him on $25,000 bail, but the judge released the man on his own recognizance a day after his arrest. He has not been formally charged.

Seattle Police objected to the man’s release, saying his “escalating behavior will continue.”

Prosecutors also asked the judge to find probable cause for felony animal cruelty, but the judge ruled there was probably cause for second-degree animal cruelty, a gross misdemeanor.

So this guy has been arrested before, he’s getting more violent, he killed a dog, and the police want him in jail, but some Progressive judge lets him walk.

He was pepper-sprayed, but that only made him angrier so he killed a man’s dog.

Seattle is a shithole because people like this are not dealt with properly and punished accordingly.

Pepper spray does not guarantee incapacitation.

If you kick my dog I will kill you.  Fact.

This dude should have been ventilated at the first go around, now he is free to attack more people and kill more pets.

All of JBS’s U.S. Beef Plants Were Forced Shut by Cyberattack

A cyberattack on JBS SA, the largest meat producer globally, forced the shutdown of all its U.S. beef plants, wiping out output from facilities that supply almost a quarter of American supplies.

All of the company’s fed-beef and regional beef plants were forced to shutter, and all other JBS meatpacking facilities in the country experienced some level of disruption to operations, according to an official with the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union.

Slaughter operations across Australia were also down, according to a trade group, and one of Canada’s largest beef plants was idled. That comes after a weekend attack on the Brazilian company’s computer networks, according to JBS posts on Facebook, labor unions and employees.

Hackers now have the commodities industry in their crosshairs with the JBS attack coming just three weeks after Colonial Pipeline Co., operator of the biggest U.S. gasoline pipeline, was targeted in a ransomware attack. It also happened as the global meat industry battles lingering Covid-19 absenteeism after recovering from outbreaks last year that saw plants shut and supplies disrupted.

Why did this happen?

Because Colonial Pipeline paid the ransom and Biden had “no comment” about it.

It is insanely profitable to be able to ransom huge sectors of the economy when our government doesn’t seem to give a shit.

Well, I give a shit.  Here is my idea.

I need to start a company, sort of like a cross between Executive Outcomes and a cybersecurity consultant.

Here is my business model:

Company A gets hacked with ransomware.

Company A calls us.

Our crack team of cybersecurity professionals finds out who the hackers are and where they are located.

Our crack team of pipe hitters goes to where the hackers are and engage in “counter-hacking meatspace wetwork.”

I suspect that there are a lot of very good cybersecurity and counter-hacking experts at the CIA/DIA/DOD/etc, that are not woke and might be looking for high-paying work in the private sector.  Same for pipe hitters.

I think South Africa would be a good place to set up shop for such an operation.
