They will admit to the f**kery by 2022

Chaser:

Remember when media and social media said that they didn’t monkey-fuck with the election, then after Biden won admitted, bragged, that they “fortified” the election?

Remember how the media said everything Trump said was wrong, like hydroxychloroquine was useless against COVID, but it turns out Trump was right and they are admitting to it now?

I give it two years and they will admit: “We cheated, Trump won but we fudged it for Biden.  But what are you going to do?  We control the DOJ, we’re not going to prosecute ourselves.  You think you are going to vote us out next time?  We won the last one by cheating, we’ll just do it again.  You gonna engage in insurrection against us?  We have nukes and tanks and drones and F-15’s and General Miley is just itching to fuck you MAGA hat-wearing hayseeds up.  We’re in control now and you can go fuck yourselves peasants.”

RIP the First Amendment. I hope this was worth it for no mean Tweets.

This is the US Federal Government working with tech companies to censor unapproved opinions about COIVD.

But it’s just Uncle Joe stopping your crazy Trump-loving relative from spreading “disinformation” so it’s perfectly acceptable and nothing to be worried about.

President No Mean Tweets is obliterating the Bill of Rights.

Our military leadership are a bunch of dangerous political garbage

‘They’re not going to f**king succeed’: Top generals feared Trump would attempt a coup after election, according to new book

The top US military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley, was so shaken that then-President Donald Trump and his allies might attempt a coup or take other dangerous or illegal measures after the November election that Milley and other top officials informally planned for different ways to stop Trump, according to excerpts of an upcoming book obtained by CNN.

The book, from Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, describes how Milley and the other Joint Chiefs discussed a plan to resign, one-by-one, rather than carry out orders from Trump that they considered to be illegal, dangerous or ill-advised.

“It was a kind of Saturday Night Massacre in reverse,” Leonnig and Rucker write.

The book recounts how for the first time in modern US history the nation’s top military officer, whose role is to advise the president, was preparing for a showdown with the commander in chief because he feared a coup attempt after Trump lost the November election.

“They may try, but they’re not going to f**king succeed,” Milley told his deputies, according to the authors. “You can’t do this without the military. You can’t do this without the CIA and the FBI. We’re the guys with the guns.”

In the days leading up to January 6, Leonnig and Rucker write, Milley was worried about Trump’s call to action. “Milley told his staff that he believed Trump was stoking unrest, possibly in hopes of an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act and call out the military.”

Milley viewed Trump as “the classic authoritarian leader with nothing to lose,” the authors write, and he saw parallels between Adolf Hitler’s rhetoric as a victim and savior and Trump’s false claims of election fraud.

“This is a Reichstag moment,” Milley told aides, according to the book. “The gospel of the Führer.”

But behind the scenes, the book says Milley was on the frontlines of trying to protect the country, including an episode where he tried to stop Trump from firing FBI Director Chris Wray and CIA Director Gina Haspel.

After the January 6 insurrection, the book says Milley held a conference call each day with Meadows and then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Leonnig and Rucker report the officials used the calls to compare notes and “collectively survey the horizon for trouble.”

“The general theme of these calls was, come hell or high water, there will be a peaceful transfer of power on January twentieth,” one senior official told the authors. “We’ve got an aircraft, our landing gear is stuck, we’ve got one engine, and we’re out of fuel. We’ve got to land this bad boy.”

Milley told aides he saw the calls as an opportunity to keep tabs on Trump, the authors write.

The book reveals Pelosi’s private conversations with Milley during this tenuous period. When Trump fired Esper in November, Pelosi was one of several lawmakers who called Milley. “We are all trusting you,” she said. “Remember your oath.”

After the January 6 insurrection, Pelosi told the general she was deeply concerned that a “crazy,” “dangerous” and “maniac” Trump might use nuclear weapons during his final days in office.

“Ma’am, I guarantee you these processes are very good,” Milley reassured her. “There’s not going to be an accidental firing of nuclear weapons.”

“How can you guarantee me?” Pelosi asked.

“Ma’am, there’s a process,” he said. “We will only follow legal orders. We’ll only do things that are legal, ethical, and moral.”

As the inauguration ceremony ended, Kamala Harris, who had just been sworn in as vice president, paused to thank Milley. “We all know what you and some others did,” she said, according to the authors. “Thank you.”

The book ends with Milley describing his relief that there had not been a coup, thinking to himself, “Thank God Almighty, we landed the ship safely.”

Milley expressed his relief in the moments after Biden was sworn in, speaking to the Obamas sitting on the inauguration stage. Michelle Obama asked Milley how he was feeling.

“No one has a bigger smile today than I do,” Milley said, according to Leonnig and Rucker. “You can’t see it under my mask, but I do.”

So the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs fought Trump on handling the FBI, which is part of the DOJ and not the DOD.

He prepared to counter what he saw as a potential coup by a sitting president.

He was buddy-buddy with Pelosi and the Obamas.

He organized to counter Trump from within the DOD.

Miley is a partisan swamp creature that clearly has his own agenda, but because that is a Leftist Democrat supporting agenda, he’s a hero and not an insubordinate general.

Every high level career government employee conspired to undermine Trump and now they are taking credit for it expecting to cash in on their loyalty to the Swamp Regime.

If anything justifies an attempted insurrection it’s that.

We elected a President and the army of unelected bureaucrats and swamp creatures conspired to take him out.

The 30 clip banana mags of vehicles will be banned

It’s Time To Ban The Sale Of Pickup Trucks

Canada is one of the largest GHG emitters in the world, and has the second highest emission rate per capita of all G20 countries. As of 2019, the transportation sector was the second largest contributor to Canadian emissions.

As such, drastically cutting emissions from the transportation sector is of the utmost importance for a successful climate strategy. One way to help do so is to ban the sale of pickup trucks to all consumers unless they’re able to meet strict requirements to prove it will be used primarily for work purposes.

The transportation sector’s problems go well beyond the pickup truck — we need to shift away from relying on private vehicles entirely, regardless of if they’re a Toyota Prius or a Ford F-250 — but I’ll focus on them because they take what’s bad about cars and make them worse, and yet are coming to dominate the market.

Moreover, as Jason Torchinsky argues in Jalopnik, “The goal of modern truck grilles—especially the larger, Heavy Duty spec trucks—seems to be less about getting the required cooling air and more about creating a massive, brutal face of rage and intimidation.” Pickup trucks have, in fact, gotten much taller, increasing by an average of about 11 per cent since 2000.

To sum this up: Canada is the second-worst polluter per capita in the world; the transportation industry is the second largest contributor to these emissions; pickup trucks pollute significantly more than cars, and are being sold more, meaning the industry is getting more damaging. As a whole, according to a 2019 International Energy Agency report, Canadians drive the most climate-polluting vehicles, due in large part to pickup trucks.

A common retort to critiques of pickup trucks is that it’s easy to be critical of them in a city, but people need them for their jobs. Yet as one article I reviewed while doing research, published in The Drive, is titled, “You don’t need a full-size pickup truck, you need a cowboy costume.”

The article’s author, Brett Berk, notes, “75 percent of truck owners use their truck for towing one time a year or less (meaning, never). Nearly 70 percent of truck owners go off-road one time a year or less. And a full 35 percent of truck owners use their truck for hauling—putting something in the bed, its ostensible raison d’être—once a year or less.”

I’ve moved once every couple years or so for the past decade, but I haven’t purchased a moving truck. I just rent one when I need it. There’s no reason these drivers can’t do the same.

According to Forbes writer Jim Gorzelany, 81 per cent of new pickup truck purchases are four doors, indicating they’re likely not being used for work.

I’m not going to speculate as to why people buy pickup trucks, but the reality is the vast majority aren’t doing so for work purposes.

Their choice is putting us all at risk, whether on the streets, or through damage to the climate. Reducing further destruction to the climate and harm from needlessly fatal road accidents is far more important than corporate or consumer freedom.

It’s time to ban sales of pickup trucks for non-work purposes, for all of our sakes.

I swear the guy to raw dogs the author’s wife must drive a lifted 3/4 ton pickup.  A Denali HD or Super Duty or something.

He says that pickup trucks are too big, too dangerous, pollute too much, and therefor you shouldn’t be allowed to own one without just cause.

Sound familiar?

I know this article is from Canada but Leftists are the same on either side of the border.

They believe they have the right to decide what you can and can’t spend your money on, and if they don’t like it, it must be banned or have justification for ownership.

This is coming to the US.

They will try to ban your pickup.

At which point I will convert mine into a technical, because fuck you.

Adapting to a New Cultural way of doing things.

Me: “I don’t like this. These people are acting suspiciously. What do they want from me?”
Missus: “What do you mean? They are being perfectly nice.”
Me: “That’s it, they are trying to lower my barriers, get me confident and then attack!”
Missus: (Looking at me condescendingly) “It is an awful sneaky tactic called ‘Southern Hospitality’, you dumb ass.”
Me: (Mumbling excuses rather than acknowledge the obvious)

You may laugh, but the “struggle” is real. And no, I don’t wish people here be less hospitable, but I know I have to make more inroads in my installed mental “software” and accept that people are simply being nice for no other reason than they are truly nice.

And I am indeed warming up to it. Smiling does take less effort than looking like you just murdered a family and are not to be messed with.

Being nice saves energy!

“ZOMG! Delta Variant is infecting everyone!” (B.S. crosses states lines)

Tennessee shall soon be covered in snot-dripping zombies caused by the new Delta variant to the Wuhan Flu.

And just like that, a slumbering threat awakens again.

The rate of daily coronavirus infections in Tennessee has more than tripled in the past three weeks – one of the largest increases in the entire nation – as the virus shows signs of renewed spread. The state’s average test positivity rate and count of active infections also climbed sharply in the same time period.

Tennesseans have effectively opened the door for this spread, leaving themselves vulnerable to the return of the virus, by failing to take advantage of vaccines that have been free and accessible for months, said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

COVID-19 infections triple as Tennessee backs off vaccine outreach (dnj.com)

I have seen less drama in a Telenovela’s finale.  Since I got here, I noticed that the Left and the Media (but I repeat myself) have been on a bender about the Republican-led State not forcing young ones into vaccination and assorted other “DO THIS OR YOU DIE!” schemes. So basically I am not missing the DeSantis Derangement Syndrome at all but just the same BBQ with different sauce.

Infections mean squat. Anybody who has taken all but an hour of health classes in school knows that. The key indicator is deaths and if they have increased in any significant way and for that, in a very “newspaperish” and traditional manner, you have to go to the bottom of the article.

Fortunately, Tennessee’s increased infections have not translated into a rise in hospitalizations or deaths – at least, not yet. The state is still reporting single-digit hospitalizations and deaths from the virus each day, and these statistics have not increased in step with infection rates.

I have seen plenty of vaccination campaigns in my lifetime. And truthfully nothing so hamfisted and bullying as this Covid Vaccination drive, and I come from a Third World country where the rule of laws was always in the favor of the Government to impose its will on People. All the campaigns were not ordering but inviting people to be vaccinated (or bring the kids to have their series of vaccinations) to a convenient location near them. Sometimes week days were selected with work and school suspended for that day and region so people could attend. there was not a push or a browbeat or an organized campaign to shame people into getting vaccinated: Lots of people came and if you did not, Oh Well, your ass.

But what we have here is simply a push to prove assertion of power. You will do stuff we tell you not because of the “public good” but because they can get away with it, they can go away with proving they have power over you. It ain’t about health but spreading the  plague of little dictators about the land.

If you want to get the vaccine, do so. We got ours. You do not want to get the vaccine? Fine and dandy, we are still friends and we can hang and I am even willing to bet that unless you are past 65 and have managed to screw up your health and are just there by the Grace of God, you have a pretty good chance (98% I believe) you won’t die of this crap if you get infected.

And for those Karens in public service and private life: Shut the hell up and let people be. Stop trying to develop your own little fiefdoms may they be physical or in that sick real state inside your brain.  The laws and regulations you want to impose to control somebody else’s body and health will be used against you in the future because the Robespierre Principle is karma at its best.
