I am seething. Nothing I can write will compare to the disgusting demonstration of heartless behavior in the video.

Dear Australians, here is an indicator you need to keep an eye on: If you do not hear news of cops eating the barrel after shit like this, it means they are actually enjoying this budding selektion. We have a senile sociopath in the White House.

I saw a Tweet that was a reminder that the Soviet Union collapsed two years after they left Afghanistan.

I am also reminded that everything happens faster today because of the speed of communication driven by the internet and social media.

Given everything that’s happened:

What ally will trust us and have our back?

What enemy will fear us and not want to fuck with us?

What institution has not destroyed its credibility?

What citizen respects the laws and institutions left in this country?

I think only reason we haven’t plunged into anarchy yet is the American middle-class is doing everything it can to hold onto some sense of normalcy in the chaos.

But it gets harder to do that by the day.

How do you hang onto normalcy when you’re being told that to leave your house and get a bite to eat you have to wear a mask and carry proof that you’ve been vaccinated and are up to date on your boosters, that you have to acknowledge 2+2 does not equal 4, and that men can get pregnant and that father chest feeding his child is perfectly natural, or some goon in all black can beat you unconscious with a skateboard and the police won’t stop them because they’ve been defended for your safety.

You can’t.

I don’t see us pulling back from this brink.

I really don’t.

I hate to be a downer, but I can’t think of a period in history that got this bad and turned it around without it becoming a total violent shit show.

I have a good friend whose wife found a lump in her breast.  Before they got her in for her appointment they went on lockdown.  She didn’t get into the doctor for almost a year.  By the time she saw the doctor it metastasized and she had a full double mastectomy.

His wife nearly died of cancer to spare her the risk of a bad flu (she’s only in her early 50s).

What happened to his wife made my seethe.

If that was my wife, I’m pretty sure after a week delay I’d be taking hostages and having my wife get a mammogram and biopsy at gunpoint.

This is even more infuriating.

This woman has a grater chance of death, and her baby even more a chance of death, from a pregnancy related heart condition than COVID.

The unvaccinated have been declared such untermenschen that letting them die of known preexisting conditions because of their vaccine status has become acceptable.

This is unethical to say the least.

Alabama doctor tells his unvaccinated patients he won’t see them any more

An Alabama doctor will no longer see unvaccinated patients in an effort to promote COVID-19 vaccinations.

“Effective Oct. 1, 2021, Dr. Valentine will no longer see patients that are not vaccinated against COVID-19,” read a sign on Mobile’s Diagnostic and Medical Clinic Infirmary Health Jason Valentine’s office door.

The physician said in a Facebook post, which included a photo of the posted sign, that his decision prompted three patients to ask where they could get their vaccine.

“No conspiracy theories, no excuses. Just where do I go,” Valentine wrote. “If they asked why, I told them covid is a miserable way to die and I can’t watch them die like that.”

Valentine further explained his reasoning in a letter he intends to send to patients, AL.com reported.

“We do not yet have any great treatments for severe disease, but we do have great prevention with vaccines,” Valentine reportedly wrote. “Unfortunately, many have declined to take the vaccine, and some end up severely ill or dead. I cannot and will not force anyone to take the vaccine, but I also cannot continue to watch my patients suffer and die from an eminently preventable disease.”

This is just an obscenity.

First of all, for most patients, especially young ones, COVID is far from a death sentence.

Moreover, does he do with with every decision a patient makes?  Does he refuse to see patients who don’t lose weight?  Patients who smoke? Patients who drink excessively?  Patients who have unprotected sex with multiple partners?

I guarantee that he doesn’t.

This has nothing to do with medical risks and everything to do we political prejudice.

Imagine the Woke mob that woukd attack a doctor who came out and said “I’m not going to treat male patients who go to clubs and have anonymous sex with other men because I can’t stand to watch you die of AIDS.”

Antifa would burn down his house.

The Left went nuts when some pharmacists refused to give out Plan B on account of religions believes.  And for the record I agree with the Left on this, a licensed medical provider cannot deny a patient medical care based on personal opinions.  That is the duty and obligation of being licensed, i.e., being granted a government monopoly, to practice.

Doctors are supposed to treat people regardless of personal factors.

That was the old ethical thought experiment I was taught.  A cop and a criminal are both brought into the ER.  They shot each other.  Who does the doctor prioritize for treatment?  The correct answer is: the one is worse condition.

This doctor needs to have their full weight of medical ethics boards dropped on him as a warning to other physicians.

You don’t get to withhold medical care from people who you don’t like politically.
