As something of a credentialed expert myself…

As an MS/PhD myself, this is fucking stupid as shit.

Some of the most partisan hacks, spreading the most inane bullshit are PhD.

I will again quote George Orwell: “There are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them.”

What this guy means is that he wants Musk to have been steeped for years and indoctrinated in Leftist ideology that permeates liberal arts and soft sciences academia.

This thread is more of an indictment of the university system than it is Musk.

Everytown pushing their agenda via “Road Rage”

Chris Sparks was on his way home to walk his dog, a husky-mix named Dawson. On that drive, witnesses said Sparks exchanged words with another driver. Sparks’ red Honda Accord pulled alongside a silver Impala. The driver fired two shots into Sparks’ driver’s side door, then drove away, according to police.

The first hit him in the hand. The second went through his chest, killing him. Sparks was 36. His killer has never been identified.

Sparks was one of 77 people either injured or killed during road rage shootings in Tennessee between 2016 and 2021. Tennessee ranked second nationally in road rage shootings per 100,000 people (New Mexico was first), according to statistics published this month by Everytown for Gun Safety, a gun-control advocacy group, using data from the independent Gun Violence Archive, a nonprofit formed in 2013.

Tennessee ranks second in road rage shooting deaths, report says (dnj.com)

Read that again: 77 people injured or dead in a 5 year period.  ZOMG! We must eliminate all them awful Tennessee gun laws and follow the example of places like Chicago where 77 people injured or dead in 5 years is called  ” About 2 weeks in April.”

Amazing what happens when you actually use a bit of context, right?

How about you learn English?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -A Nashville man says he’s failed his driver’s license test 14 times, but it’s not because he doesn’t know the material.

The written portion of the state’s driving test is offered in five languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and German. Despite being a widely spoken language in our state, Arabic is not offered. That’s causing big issues for one Nashville man.

Traveling on foot is one of the few ways Nagi Abaza gets around, book and bag in tow.

Inside the bag is a driver’s manual. Abaza’s New Jersey license expired a few years ago, but he needs a Tennessee license now.

“The main reason, I got a good chance with Amazon. $31 an hour,” says Abaza.

To become a delivery driver, Abaza needs to pass a written test at a Drivers Services Center. He says he knows that place well.

“Everybody knows my name already,” he says. “You know why? Because there are more than 14 times, I’ve not passed the test.”

Abaza’s first language is Arabic, a language Tennessee doesn’t offer for the test.

“Believe me, I study very well,” Abaza says. “But believe me the questions come in like (throws punch). I want to explain but the language is not allowing me to explain what the problems are in the DM test.”

Nashville man fails drivers test 14 times due to no Arabic option (wsmv.com)

I got my first America DL in Nashville way back in the early 80s when I was still learning the language as an adult. I took the test in English and passed it the first time, why? because I studied both the language and the manual like the Holy Scriptures 2 minutes before meeting my Maker.  You failed 14 time? It ain’t the language, habib, you are dumb as a frigging rock.

And a word of advice my dear friend: Translated tests tend to suck and make no sense in the language they allegedly are aimed to serve. If there was an offering in Arabic, you’d probably fail that too and then bitch because racism.

The screeching in Twitter is loud and stupid.

Elon Musk called their bluff and they are losing their minds. I love how they are trying to shame him for using his money as he saw fit.

You gotta love how the Liberals want to tell somebody how to spend their money, even after Musk paid 11 billion dollars in taxes for last year. How much of that suffering that he was supposed to alleviate with his money came about because of policies created and supported by the same idiots who already wasted his tax payments (and ours) on bringing GMO-Free LGQBT+ Approved Halal meals to people in Third World countries?

Will Twitter improve under new ownership? No idea and I don’t care. It sure as hell provides me with material for the blog. But seeing Libs just tearing their clothes and throwing ashes on their heads has been enjoyable

Stop complaining that your children will be malnourished

Historically, “first world problems” was a refrain about people complaining about frivolous things.

E.g.:

“The store has 50 shades of red lipstick but not the exact shade I like.”

Or

“I have Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Direct TV but there is nothing good on to watch.”

It doesn’t, or at least it didn’t, cover “I can’t buy fruits, vegetables, and cheese at the grocery store for my children.”

Now, defenders of the Biden Administration want you to know that of you are unable to buy nutritious, healthy food,  like fresh fruits and vegetables for your children, you are a whiny American who doesn’t understand how tough life really is.

That will not fly.

We are several generations removed from food shortages.

American agriculture and industry conquered this problem when we applied the war effort to American farms during WWII and we’ve never looked back.

America is the land of plenty, at least where food is concerned, where you can get just about anything you want whenever you want.

And in two years that has been ended.

Bare shelves and fresh food being considered luxurious are not things Americans are or want to become used to.

I can’t wait for this to become a mainstream Democrat message.

Venezuelans complained about the Maduro Diet.

This Administration will tell you that the Biden Diet is a good thing, and this President deserves praise for fighting the obesity epidemic.

Small Site Glitch

This morning the site was unavailable for a few minutes as we updated software. At the same time we ran some more site testing code to verify that the site is “cleaner”.

Over the next few weeks we will be working with Miguel in order to remove plugins and themes that are not in use. This might cause a few hiccups along the way but we expect them to be short lived.

As Miguel has stated, this might affect the look of the site slightly but nothing major.
